I think its moreso none of us have they money to afford two scrolls, let alone one or even half :< And sadly double gened skydancers aren't even going for that much depending on the colors either, most only reaching the price of a scroll, if that currently. I adore blue-greens so those two would make really pretty skydancer babies if/when they do eventually become dancers imo

Tiger/Stripe only 10 on the AH atm, the 1st 5 max out at 300k and none I find are good colors. The second 5 jump to 500k -700k, the 700k being closest to the colors I'm breeding. Tiger/Eye Spots max out around 600k, the colors I'm breeding are closest to 325k atm so either way you won't be that far off. Having nothing sell for anything more than pennies means I'm not going to be able to breed them as Skydancers for a while, so I may as well breed them as are atleast tomorrow and another pair and hope they sell well.

Just curious, but has anyone managed to get one of the non-Marketplace skins from the festival yet? Digging everyday and fighting Fire stuff in the Coliseum quite a bit.. haven't seen a single one.

I agree with this. If I even managed to afford the money for one scroll I'm using my hard earned money on one of my dragons, especially when lair space is tight as it is. I don't think that it's not that people want to see your dragons as SDs, or aren't interested, but ~800kt is a lot to ask of people in a failing economy where gened SDs have been selling for far less than that, and many of us still have existing plans for our current dragons.

@Seilahyn: I posted a couple of days ago that I got the male ridgeback skin from digging and Varethyn has posted in the items thread that she now has two female fae skins.

Skydancer babies from them would be awesome, but as Shal said, lack of fund makes it hard to help scroll dragons.

Prices for em are fluxuating pretty hard, earlier I was hearing a guildy from another forum was saying they were having problems selling double gene'd skydancers for about 280k, I don't know the colors or genes of the dancers though they had. For the breeder, it'll be profitable in the long run to have scrolled dragons making babies that can be priced higher than normal, but to get there is the challenge ._.

But as they won't be dancers for a while yet as you said, breeding them now and putting the money the babies make towards getting scrolls seems like the best option if you have the lair space to do so ^^ I don't know off the bat what gene'd starters are going for but trying to price match with ones on AH closest to yours would help sell them faster (as I discovered when trying to get rid of a ridgeback) and thus help you scroll sooner :3

Thank god for a turn of luck with coliseum, I've made 50k and I have a bunch of stuff in AH still from farming that stupid place, I'll be seeing those tiger genes for my upcoming wildclaw breeding sooner than later as long as I keep getting a regular flow of items to sell *knocks on wood*

I never get anything worth selling from the coli. x_x I like grinding it as an alternative to SS, especially since I can cap pretty fast with SS, and it's great for keeping my food stores up, but I can't seem to get any drops for stuff I can actually sell and profit from. xD

I quite literally for all week was getting 90% empty loot windows and 10% useless cheap material junk and food. I bring up my concern with the SS treasure change and explain my predicament with coliseum so no one flips me off and tells me to just grind coli for easy treasure, and suddenly within literally, like 10min, I was finding embers, a scorched chest, familiars, fragments, freaking everything I just, I just don't know, complaining about silly things is counter productive usually but it seems to make what your complaining about work XD

Yeah, Coli's never been super cooperative with me. I can get a bit of treasure for sure, but I don't have the Loot luck that some other people get. Also, I hate selling food items because I'd rather keep them and convert them since my lair goes through so much food now. I know a lot of people just vendor everything from a Coliseum grind and the food can give you a good chunk of change, I just...prefer keeping it.

Aye, I keep all my food and convert it because that's half the reason I grind coli. >_> My dragons eat me out of house and home if I don't spend some gathering turns and coli grinding on food.
