Although for the greater part of your war, I was in their main base. I only got infected close to the end, even then that didn't last long. Master, on the other hand, worked for them. Until his obsession gained control of his senses.>

It took a few moments for Ghost to respond, and even so, when she did it was fairly simple. "Ah. Hm." Sitting down, she blinked up at the Remku. "So, what the heck are you doing out here? I mean, it's a little odd for someone to just be... Sitting out here. It's kiiinda in the middle of nowhere."

[Moonlost]

<Waiting for you.> Psychosis said, turning to look back at the Umbreon. <I was given infomation that we're after the same thing. We have people we care about who are trapped, I feel the key to their release, the Obsidian Mirror, lies beyond this land and across the ocean. It stands to reason the two of us would have better luck together than appart.>

Baaz's ears flicked back as he heard the rumbling noise, turning only to see the Golett rolling towards him. With a surprised yelp, the Arcanine turned his shoulder to Draxis, mustering his strength to stop him.

Baaz used Strength!

((Not wanting to get too much further with Baaz until the others meet up with him again, get them involved with this side plot again. It's no fun simply chasing after someone doing all the work for them.))

[Lupis]

Lark suddenly sobered up. She turned to the tracks again. "Come on, I want to give Baaz a piece of my mind." Again without waiting for the others, she ran forward, as quickly as she could. She scent was getting a bit fresher...

[Azunara]

((Blargh. Take away computer access ONE afternoon, and I become all productive and useful to society. ): I did cleaning, organizing, got my part of a project done stupidly early...I'm not normally useful! >.<))

Ivika looked at Rust, who was struggling with his fading, and shrugged. She pricked her ears, faintly hearing some sort of conversation going on, though she couldn't pin the voices, she thought one of them was the arcanine. Excited, she sped up as well, grinning. Ha. No one left -her- and her friends behind. No way. She felt, for once, pretty sure of herself, confident.

[Moonlost]

Asher looked away from Arkon to see Lark and Ivyka bound away.
"Come on, we must be getting close!" He said to the Espenine, before running off himself, desperate to catch up.

Venin shook her head as she watched them bound away.
"Children." She sighed with a grin, looking at Phantom. "We'd be in trouble if they learned to harness that energy and put it to some sot of nefarious use."
The Vaporeon then moved into a steady lope, keeping behind the others to make sure they didn't stray far.

[Azunara]

Ivika was keeping her ears pricked, smelling the wind. There was that charred, flamey scent. She grinned. Fire-types were so -easy- to sniff out. She darted along, feeling excited and happy. For once, she wasn't hunted or starving. Instead, she was running with friends on an adventure. It was like she was a little eevee kit all over again.

[Lupis]

Lark glanced back to see Ivy gaining on her. Well. She wouldn't let -that- last. She tried to speed up more, eyes to the horizon. She felt like maybe she could see where Baaz had gone... And his smell was clear. Oh, she'd find him. And she'd give him a piece of her mind.
But first she'd beat Ivy there.

[Azunara]

Ivika grinned, letting energy fill her as she bolted ahead. Of course, she had some issues with the snow, but with Lark in the lead, the leafeon just leaped in her tracks, making it easier for her.

Ivika used Quick Attack!

[Lupis]

Lark yelped, then copied her tactics. She ran in Baaz's huge footprints, leaping forward with even greater speed.

Lark uses Me First!

((That's a new one to me. Cool move.))

[Azunara]

Ivika scowled, then grinned brightly, intensifying the sunlight right around her.

Ivika used Sunny Day!

No longer having to fight the snow for footing, she easily picked up speed, cackling.

[Kira]

(( *Mutters something about work and not wanting to go* ))

Arkon blinked and then chased after the others, shifting his heat again and letting his body work on it's own, which got him a bit more speed than if he had though about it.

[Moonlost]

Asher cried out unhappily as Arkon passed him with ease. Curse his stubby little legs! The eevee grunted and tried to run faster, snow flying everywhere as he moved.

[Kira]

Arkon glanced back at Asher and slowed himself down a bit, not wanting to get too far ahead of the Eevee. His tails twitched as he kept a steady pace at a slightly lower speed, ears flicked backward to listen to him.

[Azunara]

Ivika was still trying to past Lark in their race, pricking her ears. The smell of burning was a lot closer now, the arcanine should be close. She grinned, darting along happily, the snow beneath her paws melting thanks to the sunlight.

[Lupis]

Lark scowled as Ivy used sunlight to speed herself along. She tried and failed to move any faster, and just tried to out-run her in Baaz's footprints. She could tell Ivy was gaining on her, though.

[Azunara]

((I just can't take Derp-Camel seriously. O_o))

Ivika grinned, skidding along. The only thing she didn't take into account was the muddy grass mess she made with the quick melt, and start slipping along, looking more surprised than excited. "Uh-oh." She said quietly, slipping along, picking up speed without control. This couldn't end well.

[Moonlost]

Asher smiled up at Arkon, happy to see him being so considerate. He tried to run faster, he could see that Ivyka and Lark had managed to move far ahead of them now.

[Lupis]

((Can anyone take the Derp Camel seriously?))

Lark glanced back again and yelped. Ohjeeze. Thinking quickly, she tried to leap to the side so Ivy would crash into the snow in front of her instead of the Eevsol in front of her.

[Azunara]

With a loud "fwoomp!"ing sound, the leafeon crashed into the snow drift. She gave a loud mewing sound, struggling to get out. Cold! She squirmed, finally freeing herself, covered in snow. "Stupid snow." She muttered irritably, shaking herself. And now Lark had the lead again! Drats!
