Threnaad blinked as he processed the information, then bursted into booming laughter.
"Of all the inns in all the cities on this planet, I just had to pick the one where that bastard and his friends are holing up." He said, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Since this is so obviously fate at work, I think I shall have to come along and help you lot out on your little quest. I'm certain Zaruuk will be pleased to see me."
He turned to look at the Swift, not liking the fireball he just hiccuped up. Nor did he like the angry glares the bartender was giving him. "Okay then blazefox, let us get you sober before I have to pay out my nose for the property damage you cause."
He wiggled his fingers a little, silently calling the spirits of water to cleanse the fox of poison. ((Cleanse))

Batlek and Lightfur, Eversong

As the infusion continued, Lightfur approached Cori. In his experience he'd met only one friendly Blood Elf, but Cori seemed to be very pleasant from what he'd heard. Odd, for a cultist of such high rank.
"Hail, sister," he greeted, roughly facing the blood elf. It was hard to exactly pinpoint her location with all the other scents. "I apologize as well for the oddly timed appearance. Enlighten me, I've forgotten - what element had you chosen?"

Tirrae, Booty Bay

Tirrae turned to Swift at the nudge, scowling at him. She faded out, wading through the nether to fade in behind him and pounce at his back, intending to tackle him to the ground. She wondered if he'd explode in his drunkness - though that didn't stop her from hissing fearsomely as she pounced at him.

"Greetings... Lightfur, was it? It's no problem, really.", she started, turning towards the druid, eyeing him quickly. "A surprise at first, I suppose.", she continued, grinning. "Light."

Glix - Booty Bay

The goblin couldn't help but let out a laugh at this. Judging by the Threnaad's tone of voice, it was going to be very fun witnessing the Broken and draeneis' reunion. "Are you so sure that tagging along with us is such a good idea? Let me tell you, we've run into quite a few snags along the way. Cranky dwarves, kidnapping, dropping bears from the sky. But don't let that discourage you, we'd love to have you tag along. Especially Zaruuk, I'm guessing." She chuckled.

Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

The fox nodded drunkenly at Glix before giving a squawk as Tirrae pounced on him. He managed to focus a bit more and give the warpstalker a confused look. What was she doing? He blinked again several more times, suddenly able to think more clearly. With an apologetic wine, the fox began to struggle against Tirrae's grip.

Myri sat in the tub a few moments, allowing the hot water to ease the soreness from sleeping on a hardwood floor for several hours. Eventually she dunked her head under the water, brushing the hair out of her face as she came up for air. She looked at her scarred up wrists again, then thought to the ones on her sides. Tears welled up in the draenei's eyes once again. Intent on not letting Willowe see her distress, Myri grabbed a bar of soap and began to scrub herself as if she would never be clean again.

Senisra - Eversong

Senisra listened quietly as she overheard the exchange the leaders were making. The new one was Light was she? She swiftly glanced to Batlek, but otherwise said nothing. A small smile played on the highborne's lips. This would prove to be very interesting.

"Are you kidding?" He said, face turning deadly serious. "Bears? Dwarves? Kidnapping? Damn it, Zaruuk has been holding out on me. Here I thought he was off sulking in a cave or a bog somewhere, turns out his having fantastic adventures where bears fall from the sky and land on people. And he did not even invite broken old Threnaad for the ride. I thought we were brothers!" He shook his fist in the air dramatically.
"Er, I do hope it was you lot doing the kidnapping. I would feel horrible if I just made fun of a less than pleasant experience."

Tirrae, Booty Bay

Tirrae nodded smugly at Swift, backing off to let him get up. She gave him a 'Don't you let me see you doing that again!' look, tapping her tail lightly on the ground.

Lightfur, Eversong

Lightfur rose a ragged eyebrow. "Light? Will you be healing, then, as I am?" The thought of another healer was appealing. Not many would be able to get past them if someone was always healing, no matter if he was silenced or not.

Swift crawled on his belly to the warpstalker, very sorry for what he had done. Actually, he was more sorry about the headache that was starting right between his eyes. Swift whined again, this time turning to Threnaad. Maybe he would make his head better?

"Yep.", Cori replied with a grin, leaning in closer against the tauren, whispering. "How long is he going to do that?", she asked, looking towards Batlek.

Glix - Booty Bay

Glix grinned merrily. She couldn't fathom how grumpy old Zaruuk had met this guy. She bit her tongue at Threnaad's question about kidnapping. Right, she probably shouldn't have let that slip. Mentally giving herself a kick in the pants, she cleared her throat with some discomfort. "...No, actually. Swift's owner and I had an... eventful experience earlier today. She's still recovering. Please, just for now try and forget that I brought that up." She winced, giving him an apologetic look. Dammit, Glix, that wasn't how you made a new group member feel welcome.

Magna gasped for air then looked up at Asli, "I somehow knew I'd end up in water...hehe"

Lightfur and Batlek, Eversong

Lightfur sighed. "Unfortunately, there are many beasts to be drained. It should not take too much longer, though the skill of the cultists casting the spell will add to or take away from the time."

The ritual was nearly at an end, the last of the available Shadow beasts being drained. Batlek smiled at the black mist that shrouded his form. Fingerlike wisps reached out to examine the world about him, and at will he could form the mist into a denser cloud, or form it into a sort of whip. He wondered how it would work if he was intending to harm someone with it. Would it cause shadow burns, like shadow bolt? Hopefully it would...
The end of the ritual caused him to break away from his thoughts and he moved out of the pentacle, the mist leaving a slight trail in the air.

Tirrae snorted at Swift, then whacked him good-naturedly with her tail.

Threnaad scratched the back of his neck uncomfortably. "Sorry, I meant no disrespect. I assume you have this under control, but if you need help, I am a decent enough healer."
The broken turned to look at Swift. Ah, poor thing. He ruffled up the fox's head and channelled a small healing spell into him, knowing it wouldn't do much. "Sorry little guy, hangovers are the penalty for drinking. Now I hope you are smarter than me and swear off the stuff."

"Ah, I suppose that's it then.", she said, looking over as Batlek moved away. Huh, black mist. Neat.

Decay had followed closely behind, mushing up the plants and gorilla bits in a vial, with a faint grin all along.

"It's okay." Glix quickly said. "I was the idiot that brought it up." She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "And yes, we have it under control. Thank you for the offer, though." She gave him a weak smile and glanced down at Swift. "You lunkhead. Is Karzix's minuscule amount of common sense rubbing off on you?" She let out a soft chuckle and scritched the fox behind the ears. She looked over to Tirrae. "You be a good girl and help us keep him away from that stuff." She gave the warpstalker a grin.

Magna grinned, grabbing Asli's legs and pulling her in.
