New day, new opportunity to find Vyragosa... which is what I'm actually looking for... right Kurry? *coughs*

I'm doing some MILD camping this afternoon, then gonna chill before my main raid. Got a looong evening of wiping on my Guild's 5th HC boss in Firelands, so I don't wanna be stressed beforehand with waiting for a spawn. I took this screenie cos it made me smile; it looks like my BPD is covering Samskeyti from the cold!

(Samskeyti is my pet, fyi <.<)

I changed my Hunters hair as you can see. I tried to make her look a little more like me IRL, as I feel closer to my Hunter than my Druid. It's probably really silly, but oh well.

Also, just wanted to add the spawn timer after each Vyra/TLPD is 45 mins - 6 hours or so. I suggest Pondie's TLPDresource site if you haven't been there already. He had done a lot of research and a few of us regulars in the chat keep ourselves entertained while camping. xD

So... bit of a change of plan, for now. I'm not even sure if I've mentioned it in this thread before, but here goes. So since I started my camp, I've seen a Llv 70 Mage there every single day, camping endlessly like me. I have a lot of respect for people who camp for hours on end, as that just goes to show how much they want this beautiful dragon. We've become friends somewhat, keeping each other up to date on spawns and times.

I logged on today, and saw him online. I told him that I had killed Vyragosa at 11pm-ish last night and hadn't seen anything else since. Then he told me that (while I was raiding last night) TLPD spawned where I had been camping (._.') at Frozen Lake, around 7:30pm. He said he was the only person there, so he tried and failed for 10 minutes to kill it, and he kept dying. He aggro'd the harpies down below and they kept killing him. As he rezzed for the like, the 3rd time I think, he said someone flew in and killed it, then flew off on it. This made me really angry and upset for him, because he's the only other person that I've met on this server so far, who is REALLY interested in rare hunting.

I was a bit heartbroken for him, because he was telling me that this was the 11th time, yes 11TH time he's missed the Time-Lost now for whatever reasons.

So, with that... I told him I'm gonna put my camp on hold for now, and help him get it first. He sounds like he trusts me, but just in case, I told him I'd come and camp on my Druid with him (My Druid already has it) and it'll be his next time he sees it because he'll have my help. This isn't something I'd usually do for someone who isn't close to me, but I was really upset when he told me what happened. I feel bad for people who are really dedicated and are repeatedly let down...

The next time I'll post in here will be to tell you guys that someone else in the world of WoW is happy with a Time-Lost! Thank you for all of your support, guys, but I'll wait my turn patiently and help someone first.

Bless your little heart Ata. <3 That's such a sweet thing for you to do. Though, to be honest, why he's camping a level 80 rare on a level 70 is beyond me... But if you manage to get it for him I'm sure he'll be so, so happy with you. Hehe. Reminds me of the time I let a hunter know that Skoll was up, and he was SO happy I had told him, that he named his Skoll Kuraine... Some people just make me smile.

Also. Wolf's Rain. <3 I actually ordered the box set of that the other day, I'm impatient for it to arrive. I've seen it before but I'd like to watch it in bed on an evening.

Oh, to answer this, on Frostwhisper there are almost as many 70's as 85's, I'm sure of that. It's very popular, and all of the Mage's Guild have TLPD's... one of them even has Aeonaxx (!?) so it must be something his Guild does, who knows. I'm a bit disappointed that none of his friends/guildies are willing to help him. :/

Jeeeeee poor guy

I bet they are are summoning the low lvls into Deepholm when Aeonaxx spawns, but god knows how they are killing him : / Oh I know! I bet they are sitting on a rock and spamming attacks at him - I've seen on youtube a guy who was able to roll on the reins even though he didn't kill him, his shammy did. If you're in group and you get a hit you get to roll on them when Aeonaxx goes down :< Very hard-core for low lvls though >_>

Yeah that's what I thought. I absolutely cannot see a 70 twink killing Aeonaxx, no matter how decent their gear is/skills. Even though Aeonaxx doesn't attack you directly, the whelps would be overwhelming I'm sure... what with missing/parrying and whatnot...

I'm honestly kinda sorta hoping that these other two campers get theirs before me... Just so that I can be left in peace... I hate having to change camp spots all the time, even though I don't mind camping Waterfall at all honestly. But this hunter especially camps a lot, more than me now actually, and she still kinda annoys me sometimes but she's good for info.

I need a bit of advice, guys.

I'm helping that Mage whenever I can get a chance to. When he's not in arena or doing BG's, I group up with him and take the Waterfall spot whilst he's at Frozen Lake. He's never online past 9pm (I guess he's not from England, his English isn't perfect so maybe it's very late for him at 9 my time).... would you guys think it's shitty of me to check for TLPD in the early hours of the morning, before I hit the sack? I wanted to do it last night, but I stopped myself because I thought "Well what IF I get it... I can never have the heart to tell the Mage..."

I really REALLY wanna help him to have it first, as he really deserves it. What should I do? Or rather, what would you do if it was you?

Promising to help means helping him until he gets his, even if you get it first imo. I can't see why he would be mad tbh. The other camper I was friendly with said he was pleased for me!

As long as you don't ninja it from under him, why would he be mad? : /

I feel for you, I'm such a softie I probably wouldn't have the heart to go look either, and if he logs at 9pm he might only be a kid :*S

I agree with Zhuge. If time-lost spawns and he's sleeping, either you will get it, or some random passersby. I'm sure the mage would prefer you to have it. And I know you would never take it from under him if it spawns when you're both online. So don't worry about that

The main thing is that you're helping him while he's online.

This. I'm too much of a douche to help other people get theirs, haha. So what you're doing is like the nicest possible thing a camper could EVER do. EVER. So if it spawns and he's not online, well, he's not gunna get it is he? So it's either you or some random, and we all know it should be you.

I spoke with him this afternoon and he said it's fine for me to look for it at night, and he'd much rather me than some random (as you guys said! :p )
Whether I get it or not, I'll still help him when I can.
