Hmm maybe we can all work together, instead of people all mindlessly running around we could maybe assign places for people to search? That way itll seem less like trying to find a needle in a haystack

Exactly, I mentioned this too. xD The tracks are intriguing! Have we tried using flares and whatnot around where we see the tracks?

Yeah, same here. Then when I go back they aren't there (haven't seen them for a good 5 mins now). I reckon we are onto something. And yes, I've tried Flare, and Camo, and have Track Beasts/Track Hidden up as well.

They're actually spawning in the west as well in Vale though, maybe there's 2 locations for them in KLS too?

Great so now theres a chance the rare can possibly spawn from different points?

Could be. They are scattered here over a fairly wide area (all over Neverest, and along the path below) though. It might not be two spawns, it could mean two rares maybe, or one set could be decoys. Some of them just came back up where I am but tailed off at an insignificant location on the trackway, and have since despawned again.

Meet Stompy the blue goat! I followed his tracks and flared a bunch and poof, there he was. He seems to path up and down the Neverest path. Couldn't see how far cause another hunter attacked him (and thankfully backed off so I could tame, thanks! <3), but there we go. (Also thanks to Akyotoo for extra flares!) The tracks follow the rare's path, so you'll want to flare ahead. Good luck, everyone!

Ooh, very nice Do we know if this is an unused skin anywhere else?

EDIT: He can also leap mountains; there are places I saw where the tracks cut off at a ledge and start again at the top.

Im surprised its not a rare, maybe instead of rares they are just making unqiue skinned mobs that you need to hunt. Also surprised its not a yellow mob.

I have a feeling the tracks in Vale are subject to general zone phasing, and thus trolling the crap out of me.

What tracks? and where exactly in the vale?

West and east, posted a screenshot a little way up showing where they seem to start in the east.

this is where i generally saw the ones i did, and the direction they were pointed. as i followed, i zoned into the subzone of the emporer's approach and that seemed to be what made them phase out. after a bit, they were gone, no matter what subzone i was in (i saw them in subzone summer fields)

Those dusty tracks spawned a quilen named Portent!

Yep thats the cobalt one. Looks like we will prolly find the Pink crane, and the white waterstrider as well. Anything else I am missing?
Oh see how long there respawn timers are as well. They dont seem to be rares just elites.
