Picture spam and stories from Findu and friends incoming!
First of course is Findu. Due to lack in stable place I had to let go her serpent and exchange her for an arcane serpent. I had camped on and off for Acroniss. Always I landed in a CRZ with at least 2 other hunters camping the cave. Last week I had school, I had to get up at 6am and my husband had this week off. So I told him to keep Findu online and tame the serpent as soon as it would spawn. I logged in at 6 and about 1 hour later he told me the serpent had spawned and he could easily tame it. Yay to early tames
So this is Midgard. I totally love her. She doesn't totally match Findu with her red hair (you can't see it in this pic because of her costume) but I still love her to pieces. And she brings a usefull buff for most random groups I happen to get in. I never could bond with a hyena on Findu and her "normal" serpent was like an love-hate relationship so I'm really happy to have a pet I totally like.
The next tame is the beautiful blue gem owl. I really love the green one and have her on my little pandaren and always gazed at the picutre in petopia longingly wishing the blue one would be tameable, too. I have Olm on Findu and planned on exchanging him into Quall, but I can't release my Kiruna. She has grown on me during all these epic pvp battles, battlegrounds and arenas. So I wasn't sure about still taming the blue gem. I happened to find him the second time I checked. The first time was a disappointment from CRZ all the way. A hunter that already had him camped directly on the spot

The second time I was there no one was around, probably again because it was really early before school and I tamed him. The owl is now a female named Menja. Menja used to be Findu's Ban'thalos. But she never saw the light because her other spirit beasts take up the spots and I'm happy to see her changed into a new kind of owl. And she totally fits Findu who's a juwelcrafter. I try using her and Kiruna in equal parts so both get their tasty bites of gnome in pvp.
An other arcane serpent. Larkania my Tauren has a hyena I newly tamed after they got their usefullness back - and she never took him out. I'm picky about Larkania's pets because as a Tauren she has a strong bond to nature, ghosts and natural things. I can totally see her with spirit beasts but an arcane creature somehow seemed wrong for her. I still wanted to try one of the arcane serpents because I think having a pet with haste buff might prove itself useful. So I flew to Nexus. By accident I one shotted the lower one of the two white serpents. I tried the upper one. I could reach it with tranq shot from one of the platforms, but it wouldn't come down. It just looked at me for a while and then flew away again. I waited for the lower one to spawn again - and messed it up again. The serpent followed me to the ground and my pet killed it (yep, derpy me had pet still out). So I dismissed Lorkin and waited for the lower one to spawn once again. This time I got aggro, fell - and forgot disengage. I landed with 5%hp left and started taming, the serpent happily chewed on Larkania. With 2% of her hp left the tame finished and I sighed of relief. This pet gave me lots of action, almost as much as Kirix and I think for Larkania she's an other spirit beast. Her pearly white color and the floating in the air work for me as Tauren pet. And she looks good with Larka's white skin. Larkania has no transmog yet (she's still questing so it would only take useless amounts of gold) so just ignore the thrown together questing gear.
Now to dragonhawks.
I have to admit I squealed happy when I saw the grey and black model announced. I love dragonhawks but bright colors don't work for every hunter. Of course I wanted dragonhawks on my bloodelfes first. I tamed the grey one also on my nightelf, but this might become too much for one post. Perhaps I will show her off later.
First to camp and tame was Emerwen. I parked her in Winterspring to snag Manas. I was logging in and out occasionaly for 3 days when I found him sitting there waiting for me after school. It was a simple grab and tame. She looks good with Emmy's transmog and guild tabard and I really like her expression. And the best thing is to run around with the matching minipet of course.
The second and more painful camp was Sunwing with Rhanya. Rhanya only hit level 62 a few days before the patch and as soon as I had it on my computer she went to Sunwing's spot. I have only black or at least grey pets with her, and the transmog I have planned for her is also black. She will be my second pvp hunter after Findu once she hits 90 and is totally-horde. I try to keep her appearance red-black even while levelling and Sunwing just screamed for her as pet. Usually her server Rexxar is low-pop and rares were always easy to find (as well as on my main server Norgannon). No one seems to care much for rares on these two servers and then CRZ hits with all it's might. I find myself in crowded questing zones, tons of people everywhere and well - you know all the pain that comes with it. Sunwing's spawn is in the middle of a questing hub. I add him to npc-scan to be sure I will never miss a spawn and park myself on this dead tree. Questers come and go by. They kill the wolves and scorpids. I skin the leather. Due to school my camps always are on late afternoons when it's most crowded. And I never can camp more than 2 hours. Just know: it was hard. Two other campers regularely checking in as well and me with my lowbie on the tree. I was afraid to get aggro of the surrounding mobs while taming and that they would kill me. But then he spawned, noone was around and I could tame without a single wolf seeing me as toy. I'm so reliefed to be out of this gorge. And he's so beautiful. I named him Dunkelflügel (Darkwing in English) and admire his blueish-black colors every time I have him out.
