*SPOILER* Warp stalkers AMG! :D (with pictures, of course!)

I'm seriously hoping this means we'll see the return of the red and black (purple?) skins as well!!! I would love to have a red one.

We're getting some new models, like the crocs, crabs, mastiffs, and foxes. New colors are nice too.

Until the expansion ships, I wouldn't get too upset about a lack of totally new stuff. I'm sure they haven't shown us EVERYTHING yet....or at least I'd hope not. On the other hand, this is the first time Blizzard's redone an existing set of zones. They don't have huge amounts of room to play with, like in the other expansions, since those covered completely new zones. Blizzard is trying to give us new content without COMPLETELY changing the face of Azeroth. It's quite the challenge.

Oh, I was not really expecting new critters in the old world zones actually - so its nice we have a few . I expected a few new skinned-old-models in new old world; but new critters are better!

I just don't like the same-model critters in the NEW areas (i.e. this one is a totally new area, not an old world redone area). Kinda like I would have been disappointed to see reskinned wolves and panther kitties running around Outlands; and disappointed to see warpstalkers and well...crap..now that I think about it I can't think of another original outland critter for being seen in NR!

ok - I guess that doesn't make sense now that I think about it There are lots of NR critters that are just reskins of Vanilla WoW (spiders, wolves, owls in BC and in NR - though I guess BC spoiled me and by the time NR came out they didn't look so redone lol). And there are original NR critters (though right now my mind is going through mostly reskins lol)

I guess its my eager rush to see entirely new critters I can tame, instead of just more skins of critters I already am familiar with. Cuz I too posted for more skins in existing animals, and I do want that!

I just..want to see new more original critters!! BC spoiled me - wild creations the likes of which hold no resemblence (unlike mastiffs and foxes) to anything heretofore seen on the planet of Azeroth! YEA!

I too would love to see something new under the Azerothian sun. I know the hubby would too. Poor thing has had a "been there, tamed that" feeling of late.

Something we don't even know we want to tame cause it doesn't exist yet would be nice.
I would also like to see updated skins/models for the old beasts. I almost pity the poor boxy wolves next to the shiny new foxes.
I wouldn't want a radical revamp, but a nice makeover would be good.

I'm honestly glad someone like the green skin. It's not my thing personally, but I was so happy to see that skin in Icecrown that I hoped it would be added to the game. It's good to know that SOMEONE will actually tame it. xD

I LOVE the blue skin. It's nice to get some more variety in Warpstalkers -- it seems silly for there to be skins for them in the game data that aren't used, imo.

You think you could scrounge up those other STD cats from a while back Mania? This has got me thinking, there were two other skins right? A white and blue? They could be possible Cata Spirit Beasts [the STD model has grown on me on my belf].


Though it could be they and other shinies might not possibly be seen until Cata live. Boo.

Nope. The only tamable warpstalkers now are blue and turqoise.

While I'm pleased we're getting some new warpstalker color, i'm a little miffed they add alien creatures to azeroth. similar to what they did when BC came out, they had azeroth creatures abundant on an alien planet. i know they can't create all new everything as they just don't have that sort of time i'm sure, but still, i feel like it take something away from the game when any old bob of a beast can show up on any old planet. Afterall, a spikey raptor and wind serpent is still just a raptor and wind serpent. I think thats why the creatures of zangarmarsh are so awesome, because they aren't even remotly like anything on azeroth

that said, yay for new warpstalker skins! i want a red one...

Have we considered that these new warp stalkers might just be placeholders for a brand new type of beastie that we haven't seen or heard about yet? It seems way too weird to me that warp stalkers are on the bottom of the ocean. They aren't aquatic creatures. At least they've never seemed that way to me. Plus, "warping" as an ability seems to fit the lore and environment of Outland, but on the sea floor? Still just seems weird to me. I've also always thought of color-changing as something that was unintentional but Blizzard just never got around to fixing. AND I would have assumed that Blizzard would probably throw black or red ones into the mix, like we've been requesting for years now, instead of another white one a third of the time.

Then again, for Blizzard to go through the trouble of making the brand spankin' new blue skin, I suppose they have to put it somewhere, hmmm?

It makes as much sense as it seems, the Outland Raptors being made into Spiny Raptors... I don't think we're going to get a new model of raptors folks

Lets just blame Naga hunters- they improperly kept their pets, left them in daycares and abandond eggs nilly willy.

It's out Outland raptors inhabit Azeroth now. Bad, bad irresponsible hunters, bad!
