[13202] Rare Horde-style scorpid

I have a Hunter camping him, but haven't had any luck whatsoever. :<

I did that too, looked with the search tool for Horde and scorpion, and came up with diddly squat.

I wonder if it's under Kron'kar Annihilator, or some variation thereof. That's the name of the mount, I believe.

HOLY COW SO WANT! Blues not my fav colour but I'd still tame it would rather have the red one but beggers can't be choosers!. Much nicer than the ally lion imo.

No, it's definitely under "Horde...". The reason people often don't see it is because WMV isn't incorporating models from later patches, even though those patch files show up in the list of included files.

I used Ladik's MPQ Editor to manually patch a copy of art.MPQ to include later data (which I extracted from the patch files using the same editor), and then got WMV to include that file instead of the regular art.MPQ. The MPQ Editor also includes functions to autopatch the file, but when I opt for that it won't let me save it. Gah.

Lost Isles US, 12:25 AM Realm Time

This was pretty crazy. I had literally *just* put his ID into NPCscan. Like...I made his entry, clicked the 'add' button, closed the interface, and BAM. He spawns right below me. o_o I honestly didn't think it was him at first, I assumed it was some weird glitch that NPCscan made seeing as I just added him.

Got the Brown model. I was hoping for Blue, or perhaps a new colour, but either way I'm pleased to get a look at him in person now! Good thing there wasn't anyone else around. I must have fumbled for a good 30 seconds before figuring out where my Dismiss Pet button was, finding ice trap, and looking for tame beast. xD That's a heck of a lot of time when it comes to grabbing a rare, lol.

Here I was preparing myself for the long haul. I slept in quite late this afternoon, so I figured since I wouldn't be tired tonight I'd stay up and camp him. Was getting ready for that whole mentality...had my energy drink out, put some music on, had NPCscan all set up....and he appears.

Hmm, just realized that with him spawning at exactly 12:25 realm time, it furthers my random theory that rares tend to spawn at 5 minutes before/after the hour or half-hour mark. I've seen it so many times with rares. Not when they're sighted, but when they physically spawn. /taps chin thoughtfully

I wonder if they're planning to add any Horde-style scorpids in other colours. The other skins are:

- HordeScorpion: brown, orange eyes, green sting tip (same as the mount)) (found by Irie as a possible colour for Madexx)
- HordeScorpionBlack: black with rusty-brown tones, yellow eyes, purple sting tip
- HordeScorpionGreen: green, orange eyes, purple sting tip
- HordeScorpionRed: maroon, purple eyes, teal sting tip

I can now confirm GREEN

He reminds me of the Leeper Chimera from Resistance... They just look Chimeran to me. (I'm assuming at least ONE person out there knows what I'm referencing)...
