Probably afraid we'd all spam him. XD
With good reason! I'd keep my user name a secret, too, if I were him!

I can just imagine the poor guy getting flooded with PM's and threads about silly things that can't be fixed...he'd get to hating people real fast. I know I would.

Yeah, I totally understand him not wanting us to know what his forum name is, if he posts here. Poor guy would get buried under "I can haz NAO" PMs....
As much as I'm curious as to who he is, for that reason I hope it never gets out. ;)

Same! I'm happy to know Noah's here and listening, cause he DEFINITELY doesn't have to. If there was any known interaction between him and us as a whole, then he *would* get pummeled in a landslide of requests. He's done a good job of sifting through what we've wanted and come up with a good list of what is and isn't reasonable. He's already acting as our filter, so bombarding him personally to appeal for anything is pretty redundant, since he's seeing such things anyway. :D Multiple times, I might add. >_>

So yeah, regardless of whether Noah's really posting or not, I think it's better for all of us that we don't know either way. :)

I fully agree. :) Anonymity is the best move in this sort of situation. It's also great that the community can get their wishlists off their chest in the 'Suggestions for our Lurker' thread which he could peruse at his leisure, but not feel pressured to actually respond and discuss each individual request. It's a good funnel for the 'Ahh a Dev might be listening to us!' without getting carried away and spilling out everywhere. ^^

Anyone else think our Mystery Developer sorta resembles...

Image

??

Either way, he sure is handsome..... <3 <3

And if I could ask any one question of him, it'd be: WHAT'S SHALE SPIDERS' SPECIAL ABILITY?! That one empty spot on my spreadsheet is looking quite silly at this point! Suggestion: make it a Blind. Monkeys are the only ones with a blind atm and it would make Shales a kickass pvp pet, even though they're tenacity.

BTW... I loved the reference to SC2 you gave monkeys. I'm definitely naming my Monkey IdrA. Bad manner, indeed!

Mysterious Lurker Dev = Firefly's Wash? :D

But srsly. Not to copy...well...pretty much everybody here...but thanks SO much for all your hard work, Mr. Lurker/Dev Guy/Noah. The early stages of beta had me quite concerned, but you've come through with flying colors and I look forward to Cataclysm so much. It's nice to know our voices can be heard :D

You deserve COOKIES for all of your awesome!

Thank you so much, Noah, for giving us hunters some of the best loving in terms of pets since Launch. I know a great deal of us are going to be making more then one just to tame all the lovely looks and styles. Here's hoping that Blizz not only knows the love we've got for this, but also keeps you on to make more pets tameable in the future!

May your blades never dull, my friend!

I'm a little late here, but I too, want to thank you, Noah. I am impressed and very happy with all the pets and all the things to come. And I know it's been said, but it makes me glad to see a developer watching this community and gleaning from it.

So thank you, Noah the Anonymous.

And thats exactly something Noah the developer would say!! I'm a little late here... perhaps because you were busy changing pet models to help us???? Sochi... or should I say Mr. Noah the developer!!!!!

Well it ain't me that's for sure.

While we have a developer here.. maybe I should throw a bone out to the minor "Glyph of Tree of Life" that Ghostcrawler mentioned once - restoring druids the ability to stay a tree all the time while casting healing spells (if they so wish)...
"We might (*might*) consider a minor glyph that kept the visual of the old tree form in some fashion even when not using the Tree of Life cooldown."

He's been going beyond the call of duty of ensure we get as many new looks as possible before Cata release (and some more even after release).
More AFTER release...hydra's, Talbuks? ooohhh I hope I hope!!

So much has already been added, there's something for everyone! Stables are getting revamped daily, and if its anything like WoTLK, that list will get thrown out the window when I see pets ingame!
Though I will most likely leave my Hunter in Tanaris for the changes, since thats where the Red Hyena is now...I dont want a mastiff :( I want my Red Hyena!

Hey Noah. Did you ever check out that Not-A-Frost-Trap-Frost-Trap? The one with cookies? I think it's broken...Could you possibly poke around and see what the problem is? It shouldn't go off....

>:)

Really though. Thanks a bunch for your help! You pretty much have created a loyal army of hunter slaves that will follow you at your beck and call here. Good job. Next time some boss messes with you, we'll come to your aid.

Except me. My druid is my main. :D

Me? Well first off, wrong gender. I checked when I work up this morning. And I don't have the mad skills to be a developer of video games either. I work retail right now and was an English Major in school.

Anyway with all this awesome news, I really hope I don't have to look at my stables all over again...still, I really cannot complain. Love all of this!
