Decay - Scholazar

Decay got up, and nodded. She reached into her bags, retrieving some cloth gear that looked like a moldy old blanket. She attached it to her shoulderarmor, and flapped it around a little. Moldy pieces of cloth fell from it, but overall it stayed whole. She also retrieved two ropes with nasty-looking hooks attached to the ends, and spun them around her arms, wearing the hooks as bracelets. She unsheathed her swords, and looked over at Kozri.

"We'll start off simple. Bat me away.", she said, and lunged at the drake.

Indigosa--Sholazar

Indi slid off Khaz's back and unsaddled the gryphon. Khaz chittered happily and lay down in the cool grass. Indi sat down and leaned against him, watching Decay and Kozri closely.

Alarial--Sholazar

Alarial unsaddled Avalanche and let the gryphon go explore, grateful she had lost her appetite for the two death knights. She pulled a blanket out of one of her saddlebags and lay it down in the grass near Indi, sitting next to the death knight.

Azu and Kozri
Sholazar

Azunara perched besides Alarial and Indi. Kozri blinked, and growled, lunged forth. He used his claws to try and swipe low, and flapped his wings, trying to cause turbulent winds and kick up jungle debris.

Decay - Scholazar

The swipe hit Decay right over her feet, quickly and efficiently knocking her down. She got up, and said rather coldly, "That was a stupid move. Do you have any idea how easy it would have been for me to get the ropes around your wings there?"

Stereo - Scholazar

Stereo looked at the small group trough the scope on her rifle. She was still a bit overwhelmed that the rogue that had taken her dagger was a dragon. Intriguing... Getting the dagger back might be tougher than she originally thought.

The drake paused. This would be harder than he thought. It would cripple quite a bit of his fighting technique. He said with a growl, "Fine. Are you suggesting I try for magic instead?"

Decay - Dalaran

"I'm suggesting you try for anything that doesn't involve flapping around like some moron.", she said, her earlier shyness seemingly gone. "If these ropes get around your wings, you're dead. Making you unable to use them is the first thing most will aim for, and if you have the choice between exposing them and doing something else, do something else. If I get the hooks trough your wings, I can tie you down easily."

She got into a combat position, and readied herself for another charge. "I'm coming again. This time, don't flap around like that.", she said, and ran at him with drawn weapons.

The dragon snarled, striking out with a lash of magic then fell back a few steps. Ensuring his wings were as tucked in as could be, he darted forward, trying to rake Decay with claws.

Alarial--Sholazar

Alarial found herself interested in things other than the pair training. She watched birds fly around and studied the plant life, waiting until they needed her healing talents.

Indigosa--Sholazar

Indi was completely absorbed in what Decay was teaching Kozri, even though she could no longer use her dragon form.

Faron, Cult of the Damned building

Faron looked around. "These cultists sure take their time. How hard is it to kill someone and drag the body around? We have soul melting to do." the troll muttered under his breath.

Rassaa, Dalaran

Rassaa yawned. She had spent enough time resting, time to get some hunting done. She'd do a quick loop of Storm Peaks before heading to her usual hunting ground in Sholizar. Maybe the Storm Giants had proto-dragon hunting to be done. Standing, she gestured for Sprocket to follow and casually made her way to the stable. There she found one of two nether rays, Onyxin the Red, as he liked to be called. The huge ray followed her out to the landing pad, letting her clamber up on to his back. Sprocket folded up into a cube, and was lifted up on to the saddle beside Rassaa. Onyxin took off towards Storm Peaks.

Saturo - Cult of the Dead building

Just as Faron compplained, a rasping noice could be heard, and a cultist stumbled in, pulling two dead initiates after him. He let go of the corpses with a deep sigh. "I must apologize, we've been rather short on staff lately, after the Master's death."

Saturo glanced over at the cultist with dislike, and muttered. "Stack them on the summoning circle."

Decay - Scholzar

Decay wasn't hindered by the magic, but she felt some of her energy go away. The rake, however, hit her. Her armor protected her from the claws, and with a loud clank she hit the ground.

"Good, good. What would you have done if I had slashed with my weapons? You'd be crippled without your paws. I like the less friendly approach, though. You need to fuel your attacks with rage, without letting it overcome you.", she said, and jumped back up to her feet. "Again!", she called, and lunged at the drake, lashing with her weapons.

He fell back a few paces, letting her come to him, then leaped forward, trying to bite her. If he could disarm her...He didn't try to connect though, rather falling back and snaking around with his tail to try and trip her up.

Decay - Scholazar

Decay leapt up in a swinging jump over the tail, spinning rapidly, the musty blanket obscuring her moves. The two ropes slashed out, pointy hooks spinning rapidly. She landed, swinging the ropes like weapons. "Disarm me.", she said coldly.

((I appreciate anyone who uses internet on their phone. so hard....))

Kozri growled, thinking. if he got tangled up, he would be done for. The dragon watched Decay warily. Maybe ranged striking? He lashed with magic, retreating a few paces.

((Eh. It ain't too bad. At least not for those of us with iPhones! :D ))

Decay - Scholazar

Decay took the magic blast without flinching, but some more of her energy diminished. Hmm... He would probably continue using the magic, and then the exercise would be for 'naught. She used one of the unholy runes on a blade to swing up an anti-magical barrier around herself, and then started running rapidly towards the drake, low to the ground, with the hooked ropes ready to lash out at any moment.

Race/Class: Night Elf Hunter
Location: Sholozar Basin @the Oracles
Physical Description: Relatively typical night elf huntress. Blue ponytail, pale skin, the slash-like eye marks. Her neck is a bit longer than normal.
Brief History (Optional): Relatively normal past. She has various "pets", but most promient is her familiar, Deadlock (a dark blue wind serpent). She's also usually accompanied by Epidormi, her bronze drake friend and mount (who occasionally takes alternate form for fighting). Afraid of being attacked by murlocs in the Barrens.
Brief Personality (Optional):

Name: Deadlock
Race/Class: Wind Serpent
Location: With Raydex
Physical Description: Deviate Dreadfang
Brief History (Optional):
Brief Personality (Optional): Highly intelligent, Deadlock is actually a mother of four (Mari, Kaido, Rum, and Tilapia). She rarely leaves Raydex's side, and behaves quite strangely when she does. She tends to be loud and vicious, and she's a far cry from polite. On the rare occasions that she leaves to visit her kids, she almost always steals a large supply of Raydex's fish.

Name: Epidormi
Race/Class: Bronze Drake
Location: With Raydex
Physical Description: Epidormi is a typical young bronze drake. Her only alternate form is that of a raptor. Raydex is a close friend of hers. She doesn't possess most of the magic her older kin do, unfortunately for her - she's not very powerful.
Brief History (Optional):
Brief Personality (Optional): Relatively kind, if only because she's not too good at fighting. She squabbles with Deadlock and Raydex pretty frequently, though they remain close.

The elf sat in front of the water, casting out her fishing pole. The fish of Sholozar were not only valuable, they were tasty, and Deadlock especially was very hungry. The wind serpent appeared to be harassing a wild gorilla, though Raydex didn't doubt that Epidormi, who was flying rounds above them, could help if Deadlock actually caused any real trouble.

"Deadlock, don't get yourself in a fight. If you distract me, I won't be able to catch fish to put in that gluttonous little belly of yours. All things considered, you don't want to go hungry, now do you? If you must cause trouble, try to get the fish to swim over here. They don't pool up as much if they don't have a reason to, you know."

((Hm. Another bronze. She'll probably see through Kozri right away. XD And Sat, when you're using your cell, internet is HARD. It ate this really neat post I had....))

The bronze growled, running over every fighting lesson he had learned as a whelp, plus what Decay had told him. Always keep moving. Trick and confuse your opponents, and protect your wings. Right. Okay. With a growl, he darted forward to meet Decay's attack, tucking in his wings and also low, trying to protect his throat and chest. He slashed at her, using momentum to keep moving, hopefully out of the range of retaliation. He used his tail like a mace, trying to cripple her legs and feet from under her. If she couldn't move, she couldn't fight.

Decay swung out one rope, arcing it behind Kozri. She pulled out one of the runeswords in her now free hand. Both the slash and the macetail hit, and she got knocked back and off her feet, landing on the side with a loud clonk of metal hitting rock. She managed to keep the other rope spinning, however. She bounced back up, ready to slash with the runesword if he got close again. "Good!", she called out encouragingly.

Kozri snarled, trying to get out of the way of the rope. He wasn't going to risk getting tangled up in it. If it touched him, he was dead. He briefly wondered if magic could take it out, but he doubted that. Otherwise some blue would've destroyed it long ago. He charged once more, keeping rather low to the ground.

[Raydex-of-the-dawn]

((bronzes are popular because really, who doesn't have a bronze drake? She might not, because in the grand scheme of drakes, Dormi is sort of pathetic.))

Epidormi landed with a thump, right next to Raydex. The night elf had just pulled up a rather large barrelhead goby.

"Oh, so what, now you want my fish? I promised this one to Deadlock already."

Hearing that, the serpent retired from its harrassing of large, dangerous creatures, dashing over as fast as possible. "Fish?" she asked expectantly. With a sigh, Raydex tossed it into the air and her familar caught it immediately.

"Lousy little glutton," Epidormi hissed. "Anyways, I thought I might have seen something over by the Glimmering Pillar, and I didn't want to have to fly over there then back here then carry you. So if you want to see if it's there you'll have to come now."

"Was it a devilsaur, by any chance? Heard some crazy tales about one around here from the local gorlocs." After seeing the dragon shake her head, the night elf sighed. "Very well. Come on, Deadlock, 'Dormi's going to show us something!" The wind serpent hissed and coiled around the dragon's neck, while Raydex climbed up onto her back. "Well, we're ready, so-"

The dragon grinned and took flight towards the Glimmering Pillar.

Azunara pricked her ears, and flinched. Wingbeats. Uh-oh. She hissed quietly, "Kozri! Shift! There's others out there!" The dragon paused, growling and fell back a few steps from his attack, watching Decay.
