Vengeance of the Soultakers

[Azunara]

While the psyceon lacked the ability to do anything as spectacular, she was still a sight. Flickering like a ghost between buildings, she would leap from the shadows and tear apart her victims, then fade away, disappearing. She did this, blasting people, pokemon, and building with pulses of psychic energy as well. It was amazing, the destruction they were causing. No one stood in their way. No one could, really.

[Moonlost]

Asher loped up to Ivyka and Lark, panting heavily.
"Sure.... this is.... the... right way?" He asked between breaths. How had Baaz been able to run so far, so fast?

Venin also loped up to them, tail flighing. Her nose wasn't nearly as sensitive, but she suspected Ivyka was right. She flicked her tail as she waited for the others to catch their breath, eager to see what it was that baaz had run off for.

Psychosis' head jolted up as he looked to the port town. He could see a boat moving to dock. Excelent.
<We need to get on that boat.> He said to Ghost. Without waiting for her, the Remku moved off quickly, eyes set upon getting in there.

Ivika slowed, using the sunlight to try and rejuvenate Asher.

She then nodded, smelling the air real quick to make sure they were still going in the right direction. "Yeah. He's close, too."

Asher perked at the extra energy, grinning in thanks to Ivyka. Flicking his tail, he looked up at the ruins. Urgh, he hoped they didn't have to explore all of that to find Baaz.

[Azunara]

Ivika beamed in return, pleased with herself. She tried to pinpoint his scent better, but it was all criss-crossed all over the ruins. She muttered darkly under her breath. "Great." She scowled, pausing and pricking her ears. Maybe she could hear him?

"His scent's all over. I guess we could just pick a direction and hope for the best?"

[Moonlost]

Asher nodded in agreement, ears perked up to listen as well. He twisted his head a little, as if listening to something.
"Do you hear... rumbling?" He asked out aloud.

Ivika pricked her ears, tilting her head. She hadn't caught it before, too trained on finding Baaz, but now that Asher pointed it out....She whined, nervous. "Yeah...Doesn't sound good."

[Moonlost]

((Hehe, sorry, been caught up with art.))
"Almost like a rockslide..." Asher looked about, cringing instinctively. "I don't see anything though..."

[Lupis]

Lark frowned, stopping and flicking her ears. Something did sound a little strange, now that she thought about it.
"Yeah... Any idea?" She looked up the hill, trying to sense any sort of incoming disaster. Wasn't her species supposed to be able to do that? Maybe being an eevsol was stopping her...

[Azunara]

"Should we be worried?" She asked, tail lashing. "And more importantly, should we be worried about Baaz?"

[rubybeam]

A little cat-fox approached ivika and lark seemingly scared with out them he immdeatly brushed up to ivika not wanting to be alone hugging her with his overly sized fluffy tails

((This should be interesting. I don't think any of this group, other than Baaz, has had any real contact with Kanmimpi.))

"I dunno. I mean, I can't see anything, so I guess we shoudl be okay?" Asher stepped ahead, only to yelp in surprise as the Cat-fox bolted past him to Ivyka. "Hey there, It's okay!"

Yuki looked at asher his eyes clearly filled with fear "It never seems okay though.."

[Lupis]

Lark tilted her head at the fox thing. "Hello there," she greeted. "Why wouldn't it be okay?"

"Because....." Yuki paused for abit "There always someone out there to hurt you" he whined hugging ivika tighter

[Lupis]

Lark blinked, then shrugged. "I guess so. I've never really had to deal with it though. Just face it as it comes to you, that's how I live anyway. Don't worry until the problem is right before you."

[rubybeam]

Yuki blinked. huh? he never really thought of that "I guess i'll try that" he let his hug get looser however he didn't let go

[Moonlost]

"And anyway, we'll protect ya even if bad things to happen!" Asher said as he puffed out his chest, trying to appear as brave as possible.

Venin padded over, havign finally caught up with the group. Her fin-like ears flicked as she listened to the rumbling. "Sounds like it's coming from inside the ruins." She said.

Yuki blushed, he wasn't sure how to react to this no one wanted to protect him, not ever in his life "T-thank you" he said solmenly

[Lupis]

Lark turned her attention to the ruins, frowning again. "Well, I don't know what it is, but I think I'm going to go look." Without giving it another thought she trotted forward, sniffing around, ears pricked.
