I've been eagerly waiting for a Plague Nocturne I bought to grow up so I could check out what the 2013 Plague apparel looks like on him, and he finally did. Except, I currently have it equipped to a dragon who's in a costume contest, and I can't remove it from him until the contest is over. Uuuuugh.

Also, I'm starting to get this bug in me that I want to get all the old contest familiars and apparel that I missed when I took a hiatus from FR. But they're all soooooo expensive (and it doesn't help that I want multiples in some cases). I wonder if I can find anyone to do a payment plan x_x I have no trouble getting up over 200k if I dip below it, but I always seem to hit a wall around 300-400k and can't get above it unless I sell an egg or something. I would sell art, but I'm horrid at digital, plus I'm lazy as hell.

AND SPEAKING OF EGGS, 3/11! .... I'm not going to have all 11 elements before the colorwheel comes out ;_;

People who post previews of Gen One dragons as Imps... REALLY?!? How many people actually still have a legitimate imp scroll? *grumbles some choice words under breath*

UGGGGGGG bought my first pure gen 2 imp as a project, and looks like she will be one. She was blue/storm/platinum now she is ...well this

Not necessarily a flight rising SPECIFIC rant, but because I only an concerned about it because I went to buy gems...

Is there seriously no other way to buy gems other than through paypal? I don't trust the site to begin with, made an account once long ago to buy something or another because I couldn't any other way and haven't touched it since. Now that I went back to buy gems, I found that the language of my profile had been changed to chinese or something similar, so it was clearly hacked. I don't want to use it, and I don't have the treasure to spend on gems. I want to buy them with my own money.

You can buy gems from others ..

Sigh.. The private breeding i did with Artemis is giving me such trouble. The person who want the hatchling does NOT own any of the parents.. But he/,she only want to pay max 20 k to me and the hatchling daddyowner each. He/ she says its the norm and that i suck for not mentioned price at the start... I thought ppl reachsearced price beforethey ask for such things... Siiiigh wish i never done the breeding... I think i just end up giving the hatchlings daddy owner one of the hatchlings and then keep one and sell.. Then he can decide if he wants to sell his triple for 20 k...stupid thing making me sad

Well yeah, with treasure. But I don't have a lot of that, and I'd rather the gems sooner than later. I'd have to save up treasure otherwise, and my treasure would be gone after that.

I was told that I could purchase a gift card and then use it as a guest via paypal. I'd still have to use the site, but at least it won't tie back to me in any way. I think I'll do that, and just hope the accent I want to buy is still availiable later X_X

Isn't it cry/face/glimmer? That's worth a lot more than 20k imo. I think you and the other owner of the actual parents should get the babies and do as you please with them. The person not owning the dragon doesn't get a say, especially not with such a crappy offer.

This is exactly why I pass on ever doing joint breedings with anyone other than fellow Petopians, friends, or family.

Tarn, you're not wrong at all. While prices may not have been discussed as well as they should have been before the project began, I think the person is being horribly rude in assuming you or the other person involved would just willy nilly give them a practically free dragon. I mean... Really? Talk about entitled... If I ask someone I don't know to breed me a dragon, I'd darn well at least expect to pay full price for the baby if born! If they had to nest borrow or joint breed for it, I'd also have no problem paying a nest rent fee. But some people just aren't reasonable.

I also didn't care for the way they tried to weasel out of paying by dropping the 'I'm new' card. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against newbies, but having a lack of funds is something you should be up front about when you go looking to ask others to breed for you. It shouldn't be something you suddenly bring up when you don't want to pay. Just my 2 cents.

Ahhh, thank you much for the offer Novi, but I ended up going out right after and getting a gift card like suggested. I didn't know a google wallet was a thing :O

A triple obsidian with glimmer? Yeesh, even the weird colored glimmers are still going over 50k (last time I check, anyways). I'd expect to pay at LEAST 150k for something like that, if not more.

Aaaand yep. FR is saying it's down (or having server overload). All I can think is... does this mean a new downtime thing!? :O Probably not, but. I find it very funny though, the Arcane festival planners are running a game called Let's Start the Apocolypse, and the whole premise fo the game is that Arcane forums used to play it when downtime was more common and whoever posted last had managed to successfully start the apocolypse.

So, somebody won.

I almost started crying because I thought it meant my account got deleted somehow. I do jump to the worst conclusions a lot.. And especially since I'm rather sick and jumpy today.

Well, whatever it is, I'm kind of relieved it's not just me and that it will be fixed soon and doesn't mean anything too bad.

Tarn I didn't read the whole thing sorry, I get confused easily trying to keep track. But if I'm assuming you two(?) didn't get paid a decent amount?? Would you let me pay you for the dragons. I can send you enough for your dragon and the other breeder's dragon. If you like me to, I won't if that makes you feel uncomfortable or anything.

Nope, it's giving me an 'oops server hamsters went on strike' error, too. In the future, if you are worried about something being down, 'is it down' is a good site to google for.

The first thing I did was hit an is it down site, and it says FR is up. The error message seems to indicate something like a ban, which freaked me out too. Hoping they say something about it soon.
