Someone asked to borrow one of my nests for Halloween dragons, so I let them, they get one egg out of it which is fucking horrible in itself. BUT THEN I TOTALLY FUCKING SPACE OUT BECAUSE I'M FUCKING STUPID and I'm pretty fucking sure I missed two (three?) of the incubation periods which means not only is this person getting one measly fucking egg out of this nest, but unless I shell out gems via selling three eggs I have stored in my vaults for a boon, the hatchling that they specifically wanted for Halloween won't be born on fucking Halloween ahahahaha I hate myself and I want to die !!!!



honestly what the fuck am I supposed to tell this person??? "I'm sorry I'm a fucking moron, your dragon is going to be born like four days fucking late after Halloween"?? I've been staring at this PM that I need to send them because I don't know if the eggs will even sell quick enough by tomorrow for me to buy a boon and I don't even know if the eggs will sell for enough to buy a boon in the first fucking place

Man I don't know if I just have terrible luck or they changed the drop rate, but this whole year it seems I never find holiday chests in gathering anymore. It used to be if I spent all my turns in digging I'd get at least 1 or 2 chests every holiday, guaranteed, but the past months I never get anything.

and another rant.. contacted many of the artist which accent i like.. they had their blueprints rejected Reason :l it is too 'bloody' and the dragon suffers...first off i cant see a drop of blood on the accent...and i think they are soo perfect (warning this might seem disturbing to some? )

Yeah it's really getting ridiculous. People act like those of us complaining about the new restrictions are overreacting, but I don't think they realize just how tight these restrictions are. First it was no actively bleeding wounds, now it's no suffering... But I think PLAGUE dragons would get along just fine with those wounds. They're Plague dragons for gods sake. And more importantly, they're pixels. Who the hell cares if they look like they're suffering???

These rules are pissing a lot of people off including some big accent artists and it really worries me for the future. :/

Look at those Snappers though, they look so happy! It's a shame really. Some accents do look like the dragon is in actual pain and set some people off on a "oh noes!" rant but they're getting silly. That Snapper there is just, uh...stretching?

The skeleton Skydancer one (that one the in the festival) could be considered suffering for goodness sake...it's a skeleton! They need to make guidelines and stick to them, rather than kicking them all over the place. >_>

The worse thing about it is that the artist i talked to were ask to make their dragons more zombie like.. and Plague mother DO NOT LIKE ZOMBIES!!!

I can see the point if it was massive and graphically bloody.. but a green skeleton with ooze?.. that does NOT rock my boat.

The idea of Plague is survival. The idea about zombies linking in is a mistake I once made, and although there's those subspecies you guys have, zombies are not part of the Plaguebringer's agender. They're completely dismissing the lore they've done at this point, in favour of dragons who don't suffer...

Now I've never been turned into a zombie, but I'm pretty sure that'd be a whole lot of suffering :/

This 'No suffering" thing has gone on for some time after coming out of nowhere. The TINIEST red marks are being classified as suffering and rejected. It's ridiculous. The board was made in August of this year, but the issue has been going on for far longer than that :C It'd be nice if the FR team took a look and saw how many people aren't happy with this.

The one on the left (Green, nature) got accepted, but the one on the right got denied according to the artist. It doesn't even look like blood.



I guess they're banning all accents with streaks or red in them now?

i figured i would ask before it comes back declined again since the Denial message was so vague-

im a bit in a tough spot a while ago i got a custom accent commission to do 2 customs
with the same theme. like a couple pair.

this one was accepted 2 months ago, on the dragon it was meant for

now about 2 weeks ago the second custom came back denied
supposed to be looking like this equipped

the rejection message going as followed
"Although this design is very cool looking, Flight Rising would like to avoid skin designs that give the impression of living creatures that appear to be suffering or in pain from massive wounds. Please alter the color of the red, dripping blood to something that a living creature would not have or remove it before resubmitting."

they were only 2 months apart and its really difficult to tell what i should actualyl change.
would changing the glimmer/underbelly color to orange work?
As you can see the accents are the same in terms of the red veins and when seen on the actual dragon they do not look like wounds, but just veins as intended by the commissioner. Does that in any way affect it being accepted?

Im just not sure what to do- a while back one was told to consider making the blood black/darker for it to be accepted now the new statement i have gotten seems to imply that would no longer work? im not sure. would smoothening the veins on the body of the second accent/denied accent work? (its the only difference to the already accepted one besides the underbelly)
If possible i would love the keep the red veins since its supposed to be a male mirror accent to the female one that has already been accepted

i hope you know what to do im at such a loss

@Naakhum The first skin is grandfathered-in. The dragon cannot have that many open bleeding wounds. Flight Rising does not allow skin designs that depict creatures that appear to be suffering from massive wounds/excessive gore. Again, we do have a rules update forthcoming that will help to clarify what violence we will and will not allow in our skins as well as an update to our tutorials and how to calculate accent coverage.

I couldn't help but to post a reply because of how sickened I was by this. It was tough to try keeping it civil.

I've been watching it since day 1, and everytime I see something slightly red getting rejected, I just grit my teeth. This one though, where he/she is making up excuses though has really taken the cake.

I like my pixel dragons but the people running FR are freaking morons sometimes.
I sure hope none of the "omg a dragon can't be bloody and suffer" people never read my dragon Malaise's bio then because her crackle is literally exposed blood all over her body and her bone armor is the prize from killing her opponents. Her entire life has been pain and suffering and overcoming it.

I'm so over all the people picking on Plague and the cool accents players are coming up with for the flight.

I just find what they said funny. They say that accents that make the dragon "appear to be suffering from massive wounds/excessive gore" are not allowed, but most of the accents denied do NOT have excessive gore or massive wounds. Many of the denied accents have very minor, cartoon gore or minor wounds with a few pixels of blood.

Can we please have some clear guidelines??

There's putting your foot down, and then there's being a control freak about things. Have they seen how many people have dragons with leaf gembond, all plague-themed, who say the gembond is all scabs and boils that have crusted over? @-@ That's more gross than any accent I've seen tbh.

What they should do is give accents ratings or something. Like they rate films. Each skin and accent is given a rating (i.e. Mature?) and then players have an option to block out a certain rating of accents if they don't want to see them. But nope. Just ban any that imply suffering, even if they don't. >_>
