Platinum Update: My platinum team is coming along quite nicely....I have 5/6 of the pokemon I want XD When I have em all and with the movesets I want....hehehe....be afraid Makoes....be VERY afraid >=)

Also, I managed to catch all of the Unowns in Platinum too....was kinda annoying trying to find them unlike in HG where they were all in one room ('cept ! and ? which were at the entrance)

Lastly, I've caught almost all of the Honey Tree pokemons.....just need Heracross and Munchlax ^_^ (For burmy and Combee...I've also caught both genders....Burmy because of its evolutions, and combee because you need both for a Macho Brace)

Oh...I already brought it! I brought it, put it on the table and opened it!!!!!!

NEWS!!!! New Wifi Event coming to America, Europe and Australasia. From July 31-August 27 we will be able to download the Enigma Stone event item. If you take it to Pewter museum and show it to fossil reviving guy, it will become the Soul Dew item and shortly after, Steven Stone arrives and allows you to catch the Lati twin that isn't in your version normally (Latios in HG, Latias in SS). They will battle as Stationary Legendaries (no running) ^_^ This is ONLY available for HG and SS

Btw for those who don't know, Soul Dew is a held item that raises the Sp. Attack and Sp. Defense of the Lati Twins by 50%.

Ok I have 5/6 members of my Platinum team atm, and all of em have reached thier final evolution stage XD And one of them has completed the moveset I wanted for it XP

As for game progress...I just got Surf and am now exploring all the areas I can with it before I head to Canalave. Manged to pick up a few of those incenses that help get certain babies. Still tryin to catch Heracross and Munchlax from Honey Trees.

P.S. Btw Makoes...I'm sure you probably noticed by now, but I am keeping my Platinum team a secret until our mighty battle of mighteousness!

More news: The official romanisation (Japanese name stated in English) for Chiramii (the chinchilla thinger) was revealed. Its romanised name is Chillarmy (combo of chinCHILLa and ARMY) it is unknown if the name will be used in the english versions of B & W. Also Munna's (that small pink thing without smoke comin out of it) romanised name is the same as its current name.

Uughhh, I want to click on that link so bad. ;_; I'm getting tossed up with A) Looking at pre-release pictures, spoiling some pokemon for me, but letting me choose a team, or B) Not looking at spoilers, giving me some suprises in-game, but being unable to pick out which ones I like best and plan my team...

The only way I can think of doing both is by looking at the preevos, but not looking at the final evos... hrm. Darn pre-release pictures and my lack of willpower to not spoil it for myself!

Ok well I finally got the final pokemon for my Platinum team (squee ^_^)....now to finish thier movesets

Also...as a reminder, tomorrow begins the Enigma Stone event for HG and SS that involves obtaining the powerful Soul Dew held item and catching the Lati Twin that wasn't originally in your version.

Ahh got to remember to get that item.

I have 5/6 of my wi-fi test team done, and messed up on the 6th so have to start from scratch for that one...hopefully I'll get that one and its moves sorted soon, then...Team DeathMatch!

@Kamalia: I know how you feel, sometimes I like to be surprised to...I am just weak when it comes to Pokemon.

@Magnakilro: Would it be alright if I borrowed your orkit to breed my own?

So! I decided to pick up my SS game after a bit of a break. I finished the last bit of Kanto and defeated Blue. Now to train my team for Red. Whoopee. So far my team is

Tesla: Level 65 Manectric.
Brooke: Level 66 Vaporeon.
Magni: Level 65 Typhlosion.
Tristin: Level 66 Gallade.
Also several HM pokemon. My team is... rather small. But I love 'em! My Gallade has also apparently taken a... erm... shine to me. Whenever I talk to him, he usually responds by blushing, acting shy, hugging me, walking closer, ect. Hrm.

Anyone else recall some amusing (Or somewhat awkward...) responses from your 'pokes in your HG/SS games?

Cant say I've ever gotten any messages like that...well that I know of..not sure what my japanees pokemon are saying...I think they want to eat me or something...

Manetric is pretty coolz, Typhlosion RULES!! I've never gotten a Gallade up, so I am not really familiar with that one. Vaporeon looks pretty

I do love my Gallade. Him being my first shiny certainly helps! He's probably my most useful pokemon at the moment. He's a pretty good sweeper (He took out pretty much all of the E4...), but he's not very good at taking hits. Though I couldn't give you info on how he does in competitive play... I'm not much of a competitive player, so...

And you wouldn't BELIEVE how long it took for me to breed that Vaporeon. Even with an Everstone, I just could not get a female with the right nature! Doggone higher male ratio. At least I had bunch of Eevees with Wish to give to my little cousin.

lol yeah, I know the hardship of getting the right nature/character/gender and moveset...the hours I've spent force mating my pokemon...I should be arrested!

Force mating? I thought they mated while you put them in daycare, and I doubt you'd be allowed to run in and simply force them to mate in there. Then again, I've never been in a daycare center, so I wouldn't know if that is what actually goes on in there...

You can't make them "force mate". Well, sort of. In a way, I suppose, considering they won't stop making babies until you take them out of the daycare. But no running into daycare and making sure they do the job right away.

Nope.....it would make dead Pokemons and that is not gewd.....I'd rather have a living Heracross and Munchlax XP
