Indi found Murid and delivered Decay's envelope. She was then led to a worgen death knight whom completely towered over her. The escort left and Indi suddenly felt smaller than she ever had before. The massive worgen turned around and looked over the elf death knight in front of him.

He crossed his arms. "What brings you here, death knight?" he asked even though he already knew the answer. The woman in front of him was a wreck; old for a death knight and totally afraid of her own powers.

Indi struggled to keep herself from shaking in front of the imposing worgen. "I--I am in need of help. I--I cannot control my powers. Decay recommended me to you I think."

A small smirk tugged at the corner of Kethtaz's maw at the mention of Decay. He was honestly surprised she would tell anyone to come see him with her blatant hatred of his kind. Well, if she knew Decay, then he had no trouble being up front with her. Taking a breath, he said, "I can tell. For such an old death knight, you are a wreck. I do not know how you have managed to try and hide from the blood for so long, but I can see it calling to you. Come, we have a lot of work to do."

Tirrae and Faron, Booty Bay

Tirrae grabbed the neck of Kozri's shirt in her jaws and attempted to drag him outside, over to the scratched out game. She intended to get an explanation for the defacing of her victory!

Faron yawned again. "Mmph. Not grumpy, just tired. Or both." He stood, jumping down to the floor and shaking out his heavy pelt. A flicker of lightning bounced from hair to hair. "Right. Breakfast, then hunt?"

"Let go of me, you stupid lizard!" He shouted, thrashing. He tried to slow time around the warp stalker so he could pull away.

Rosaliah--Booty Bay

Rose nodded to Faron, throwing her hair back into its ponytail. As she went to put her cloak on, she said, "Sounds like a plan, hon." She looked about the room, her gaze falling on Karma and Serenity. As much as she loved these two pets, a part of her deeply missed Thrash and Tyrant.

Tirrae and Faron, Booty Bay

Tirrae scowled as time slowed around her. She gave up on revenge, instead phasing, moving - slowly - over to the corner of the inn. She reappeared and hunched down, sulking.

Faron tilted his head at Rose, noting her slightly glum look. Hm, was something wrong? He followed her gaze to her pets. They were great pets. What was wrong with them?
"You okay, Rose?"

Rose blinked and snapped back to attention at Faron's question. "Huh? Oh, yeah...I just miss Thrash and Tyrant is all. I hope they're not mad at me."

Threnaad - STV

Thren crouched down beside a plant growing not too far from the little pool where Myri sat, staring intently at a fruit growing inbetweeen it's fronds. He carefully reached out to poke at it.
"Do you think this fruit is poisonous?" He asked as he picked it off the plant it had grown from, turning it to observe it from all angles.

"She was my wife." Zaruuk explained, still staring at the wall. "Threnaad's sister. We had been friends since we were young. We formally joined when we were around three hundred years of age. She... She was-" He stopped, his head dropping to stare at the floor while he attempted to force away the well of emotions threatening to overthrow him.

((Decay doesn't hate Worgen she knows didn't fight the Forsaken in Gilneas.

Which reminds me of something fun with Cata. Worgen are mentioned as being immune to undeath ALL THE TIME in about every other quest in Silverpine. And then there are worgen death knights, somehow.))

Myriana and Swift - STV

Myri looked up at Threnaad and the fruit he held up. "I am not sure. I would bring it back with us, maybe one of the others will be able to tell us." Myri could feel Tirrae sulking through their spirit bond and had a pretty good idea of why she was sulking. She tried to call the warpstalker to her, thinking maybe a swim would make her feel better. The hunter was enjoying herself and not about to head back to Booty Bay just yet.

Swift ran by, chasing a butterfly he had flushed out of a bush.

Tirrae and Faron, Booty Bay

Tirrae stuck her tongue out moodily at Kozri, then phased again, retreating out of the inn. She reappeared outside, giving her scratched-out winning game a mournful look before running off into the jungle, following the spirit bond. Luckily her Hunter hadn't gotten too far, and she quickly found her walking with Threnaad. She bumped Myri's leg with her snout to say hello.

Faron frowned. "Where are they? We might go nearby at some point, we could fetch them if you'd like. Why are they gone, anyway?" He recalled Rose and Tryrant being inseparable.

Myriana and Swift - STV

Myri brightened as Tirrae bumped her. "There you are! I could feel you getting upset, I have a feeling Kozri is to blame. So I decided to get you away from him." she explained as she reached down to pet the warpstalker affectionately. "I figured you might want to go swimming. OR you can pose for me while I finish carving this warpstalker for Glix." the draenei continued as she pulled out her jewelcrafting materials.

Swift stopped chasing the butterfly to run over and lick Tirrae on the snout. He looked around for the butterfly, only to find he had lost it. Instead he bounded over to Threnaad to investigate the fruit the broken was picking.

Kozri and Azu
Booty Bay

Kozri blinked as the warp stalker left and let out a sigh of relief. Thank Nozdormu for Myri there. He enjoyed his body parts un-maimed. Once he was sure it was clear, he drew a circle around the crossed out game, then several arrows pointing to it, imitating what Tirrae had done earlier. The guards were staring at him, but he just grinned and returned to the inn. "You're alive!" Azu gasped in surprise as he sat down next to her.

Tirrae grinned at Myri, nodding at the mention of Kozri. At the thought of posing, she peered at the half-carved statue, then mimicked the same pose, puffing out her chest. Now as long as Swift didn't pounce on her or charge into her, the carving would be perfect.

((I wasn't sure which worgen Decay hated; I just assumed all of them. XD

Ya know, that's kind of funny. Not that their stupid reason for worgen death knights existing makes sense anyway. It's got a bigger timeline flaw than Indi's back story. They totally ruined the worgen story in general (and the female's looks) which makes me very sad since I love werewolves. ))

Willowe and Rosaliah--Booty Bay

The druid studied Zaruuk's actions, thinking about what he was trying to say. She was going to assume that his wife had died since he wasn't with her and he seemed to be romantically involved with Indi. She shifted back into her worgen form, laying a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Well...she obviously meant a lot to you," Willowe said, trying to pick her words carefully. "I understand if you don't wish to discuss why she is no longer with you, and I hope you will understand my concern for Indi. I do hope she knows about this."

Rose frowned, trying to remember where she had told Tyrant and Thrash to stay. "I told them they couldn't come with me when I chose to follow you around the Cultist camps because I did not want them to see or become like the elemental beasts. I'm not entirely sure where they might be at right now. I'm sure they're deliberately roaming around because they're upset with me, but if I had to take a guess, they're probably up in Eversong."

((Urg, I know, right? -.- I tend to ignore a lot of the weird worgen lore for the most part. *shakes head* How did Blizz manage to screw it up so badly?))

Zaruuk - Booty Bay

"Yes, she does." Zaruuk said softly, head still hung. "Not the whole story of what happened, but she knows that Kyali existed. And that she died. It seems inappropriate to talk to her about it.
"We were fleeing Shattrath. Kyali was at the back, protecting non-combatants from orcish marauders. I had been forced to go along with the group, pushed into the crowd by her. I tired to fight my way back. Tried to help her. There were so many, all of them terrified for their lives, it was chaos. I fell, was almost trampled to death, thankfully was saved by another vindicator. When I looked up, I saw an orc cutting through her, his axe slicing down into her chest from her shoulder. I do not remember much of what happened after that. Just a blur of misery. I remember waking up in Telredor a week later." His voice was strained, almost monotone.

The broken lowered the fruit to the fox. "What do you think scorchfox? Poisonous? Do not eat it in case it is, causing your mistress to hurt me more."

Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

Myri grinned as Tirrae posed and quickly went to work finishing the figurine so the warpstalker wouldn't have to stand too long. She began to sing under her breath, as she usually did when she was cutting a gem.

Swift sniffed the fruit the broken had showed him and made a face. It definitely did not smell as if it would taste good, though it didn't smell poisonous either. The fox took a little nibble and gave a sour face before running to the pool and drinking until the sour flavor was gone.

((I just.. kind of accept the previous Worgen story, not the insane new one. As for worgen DKs, the only idea that makes any sense is that they were Wolf Cultists from Grizzly Hills that were killed and turned DK...))

Faron, Booty Bay

"Ah, hmm. Perhaps we will go there, then. The cult seems to be moving from city to city in each continent - perhaps they're at Eversong now. We could pick up Tyrant and Thrash on the way."

((That's what I have always assumed for them anyway. You mean that's not the case? *Mind boggles* ))

Threnaad - STV

The broken sniffed at the part where Swift had nibbled, his jaw aching from the scent alone. Well, it was powerful, that was for sure. Carefully, he sliced off a small cut and placed it in his mouth. He frowned and bit on his tongue, spitting onto the grass below, throwing the rest of the fruit into the jungle. Why did he think that would be a good idea? Especially considering Swift's reaction. Yuck.
He started to look around for any other potentially edible food out here, only to stop. He turned to Myri, listening to her song, silently impressed. He leaned his back against a tree, watching the huntress work and listening to her sing.

((I went off the story given for the playable worgen in Wowpedia, even though I think it's a crock of garbage, when making Kethtaz's story. After twisting Indi's pretty badly I've just been trying to stick with the lore.))

Willowe and Rosaliah--Booty Bay

Willowe's eyes widened during Zaruuk's story. She murmured soothing words to him while trying to figure out what to say. "I know this may sound kind of silly, and maybe cold-hearted, but you do know that it is okay to get over her and move on? I am certain that Kyali would want you to be happy." The worgen poked a finger at Zaruuk's heart. "She will always be with you here," she then poked her finger at his head, "and here. You will never lose her by moving on."

The druid fell silent for a moment. "If anything...I envy you. I have no recollection of who my family or loved ones are or were. Ever since becoming a worgen, I have had to make my memories as I go. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a mate, but I never act upon it. I became a combat healer to help as many others as I could, and I have never once regretted that decision.

"You need to forgive yourself and learn to move on, my friend. If anything, take this time apart from Indi to really assess what you want from a relationship with her. If she is just filling a void for you, that is not fair to her, and I know you know that."

Rose brightened. "It would be really nice to see them again. Although, I'm not sure what to do about Karma and Serenity. I love them both, but there is no way I would be able to control four animals, especially with two elementally infused ones."

He returned back to his room, sitting next to Asli, "Sleep well?"
