As Swift neared it, the communication rune on the rock blazed brightly. Azunara suddenly leaped to her paws, wincing at the sound she made, and reached out with the connection, trying to find out who was close enough for the rune to sense.

"I doubt a portal would be particularly safe.", Decay replied, shrugging. "Might just have to make do with the local strains."

"Well, hopefully it'll work out the same." Rose looked back down to her paper, trying to plot the best way to approach the camp.

Swift - Booty Bay

Swift jumped back several feet as the rock blazed brightly. Deciding to get someone who knew about such things, the fox ran back to the others, yipping excitedly.


Senisra and Nyrali - Azuremyst

Senisra jumped back and growled at Tirrae, loosing her balance a little as the earth trembled. "I was ready for you that time love." she told Tirrae, wondering how on earth the hunter managed to control this beast. Still, she was enjoying herself. Quick as a blink, the mage worked to secure Tirrae's head, legs and tail so that they couldn't lash out at her as she worked.

Nyrali waited as the curse got stronger before finally using her Gift in an attempt to cleanse the curse and prevent that demon from appearing.

"I'll go find something.", Decay said, getting out of the inn, taking off running towards one of the nearby camps of undead trolls.

Kozri looked from his pacing to see Swift yipping and causing a ruckus, and looked at the fox. "Why are you so excited? Your friend's still there. What's going on that could make you so loud?" He asked darkly, studying the fox.

With the being gone, the rock dimmed to a steady glow. Azunara lashed her tail, confused. The rune on her necklace had faded to a dim glow, meaning someone had left the rock.

Arbennig huffed as Myri didn't slip onto his back. He pawed at Threnaad for help.

Swift grabbed a hold of Kozri's pant leg, before letting go and running back towards the rock, simultaneously trying to get the rock to glow and the rogue to follow.

Kozri gave an irritable growl, but followed after Swift. As both fox and rogue neared, the rune flared again, and Kozri studied the mark, blinking in surprise. He recognized the rune right off the bat, and picked up the rock. It gave an even brighter flare at the touch, then settled into a warm glow. It was easy enough to guess Azu had left it, and he said quickly through the link, "Azu! Azu, are you alright? How you doing? What about Tirrae? Is she okay?"

Azunara grinned as the forest around her was briefly illuminated, and heard Koz's words in her head, giving a purr of relief. Thank Elune, she wasn't so alone anymore. "Koz! I'm sort of okay, I don't feel good. The troll tried to get a soul shard out of me, though I escaped. He still took a bit out of me. I'm...near the camp, I don't know what's up with Tirrae. I was running, and they attacked, and I got scared... She drifted off.

Threnaad and Zaruuk - Booty Bay

Thren looked around again. Rose and Decay were mumbling to themselves, obviously in the middle of some sort of plan. Plan! Hah, like they had enough time for anything elaborate right now. They would be lucky if Tirrae wasn't already dead by now.
"Set up a portal to the Exodar Zar. Now. I do not care if the others are staying behind or not, I cannot just sit and wait." The broken growled.
Zaruuk wasn't sure what to do. Rushing in head first was foolhardy. But they had taken their time before and, well, you could see how well that worked out with Myri.
"I cannot just send you off to get killed Thren." Zaruuk said, looking ashamed and afraid.
"And what if it was Kyali there instead?!" Thren snapped. "Would you just be content sitting here, doing nothing?!"
"That is not fair." Zaruuk said softly looking hurt. "And I did not know you held such feelings for a warpstalker."
"No, I do not. But Myri over there does, and Azu does too. Tirrae is as intelligent as you or I, perhaps moreso. Even if she were not, it does not sit right with me that we just abandon them there. Time is not a luxury we have! Make the portal, or I will recall myself to the Exodar."

Zaruuk sighed, then pulled out a runestone and began to channel. He hoped that Thren wasn't about to get himself killed. While he waited for Zaruuk to finish his casting, Threnaad picked Myri up and placed her on Arbennig's back.

Booty Bay

"We're coming. Soon. As soon as they can find a pla-hold up," He said, pausing and turning as he heard Zaruuk and Threnaad argue. He stalked over towards them, nodding. "Count me in as well. Even if it's not to the scale that's plan, and I think I can make a distraction long enough for a rescue. "We're coming, Azu. Can you find your way to the camp?" He looked back up at the pair, and added, "Azu left a means of communication, Swift found it. I've been just talking to her, she's alive so far, but she hasn't heard anything from Tirrae. Last she saw her, she was with the elf."

Azunara hissed at the suggestion to move closer to the camp, shuddering. But moved either way, pricking her ears and giving a low, soft, keening cry. She was terrified for Tirrae at this point. What could've happened to her?

The shadow beasts moved away and the earth beasts were next, the pentacle set and drawn.

"Threnaad, you are a bloody fool if you actually think that portal will take you directly to the Exodar!" the worgen snarled at the broken. "All of you are fools if you think that. We have two former Cultists here with us who have said they disrupt the portals to capture prisoners. Are you all so eager to jump straight to your deaths?"

The worgen sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose with a clawed hand. Calming herself a little she said more quietly, "If you all take that portal to Exodar, I will not follow. As much as I care for you all, I am not walking into a death trap willingly." She turned once more to Thren. "Also, broken, that was a low blow to Zaruuk; you should not have brought Kyali into this."

Kozri looked at Willowe, not even bothering to hide the note of desperation. "What should we do? Keep waiting for a plan to form? Yes, let's keep planning. We can all sit here and wait for an idea, and let them kill our friends, and break us one by one. Myri's already...hurt, but two more people like that can't hurt, right?" He said darkly. "I'll fly there myself if it kills me, but I'm done sitting and planning. If someone you loved was stuck there, you'd be just as desperate to go as well."

Willowe's control was starting to slip and a savage look lit up her face. "If you were not all so busy pining you might see that you have two strategists sitting under your nose who have been devising a plan while you have sat here and twiddled your fingers. Besides, Myri wouldn't be the way she is if you all had not have carried through with your foolish plan to go spy on the Cultist camp!"

Magna gulped as aggression started to flare up.

He looked at Arbennig, "Come on..."

He walked back to the inn, pet in tow.

Swift - Booty Bay

Swift gave Threnaad a thankful yip for placing Myri on Arbennig's back. He watched as the orc and the corehound walked back towards the inn, but didn't follow. Instead he sat and listened to Kozri and Willowe argue. The fox's head drooped. He knew Myri had only gone on that scouting mission because Kozri wouldn't have listened if she had told him no. ((at least that's how Myri felt anyway)).

"How the fel are we supposed to plan if we don't have any information for said planning? Explain that to me, because obviously I've missed something somewhere. Do you know things we don't? Is that it?" Kozri snapped back, "I'm sorry, obviously I should continue waiting around for them to finish this plan. Because we have plenty of time to think of something elaborate."

Tirrae and Lightfur, Azuremyst

Lightfur nodded thankfully, entering the pentacle. He knelt, the vines covering his body laying still for a brief moment.

Tirrae snarled fearfully, jerking and twitching, trying to thrash away. She snapped her jaws, though the harness kept her from opening them far, and shuddered again.

Senisra grinned. "Ha! I have you now little beast!" With that, she picked up her tool again aiming for one of Tirrae's horns, trying to snap it off as close to the warpstalker's skull as possible. There was more blood that way.

Willowe and Rosaliah--Booty Bay

Willowe growled angrily. "You are a fucking idiot Kozridormu! I hope you all fall right into a trap and die!" With that, the worgen stalked back inside of the inn, heading upstairs to her room.

Rose had heard the yelling and moved outside, leaning up against the wall and smirking, her plans tucked into her belt pouch. As the druid walked away, Rose softly said, "Tell me something, Kozri, do you have any idea what you face going through that portal? They will pull you directly into the middle of their camp and they will deliver you directly to Batlek. They have mages trained to spot portals, and after all the trouble you guys have caused already, you're going to be prime targets for being tortured and drained.

"Batlek himself has probably had at least four infusions by now, his buddy, Lightfur probably three, and the other leaders have all had at least one by now. So what is it you plan to do, exactly?"
