Zaruuk stopped channelling at the mention of the portals being diverted, he had not heard that fact earlier. He paused, wondering if they could use that to their advantage somehow.
"I would be all for a plan if we have the time for one." Thren snapped back. "You see how Myri is now, how would you like to see yet another one curled up and shivering in terror in the corner? Or for Myri to feel even worse because the pet she's bonded to is going through the exact. Same. Thing. This should not be up for discussion. We need to find a way to get them out of there now."
"What if we summoned a portal to Exodar in the ocean? Would the water flood through it?" Zaruuk mused aloud.

Tirrae, Azuremyst

Tirrae let her head drop down to the ground slightly, taking a bit of the impact. Ow, ow, ow, fel, ow. Because of her efforts, however, the horn only cracked. She jerked her head up again, trying to knock the tool out of the mage's hand. She seriously hoped that Myri wasn't awake, or in any way conscious, or dreaming, or...

Magna sat at a table with his wife. He sighed. What was happening to this group...so much infighting....

Arbennig climbed upstairs, looking for a bed for Myri.

Myri jerked violently, Tirrae's pain even penetrating the little wall her mind had built around itself.


Senisra- Azuremyst

Hearing the horn crack, Senisra grinned and followed Tirrae's movement, twisting the tool in an effort to get the horn to fully break off.

Rosaliah--Booty Bay

Ignoring Thren's outburst, Rose looked thoughtful at Zaruuk's mention of tricking the portal system. Pulling her plans out of her belt pouch, she looked them over, using a finger to trace a flood line from the dock to the camp she had outlined. If the camp was in her purported location, Zaruuk's idea would work wonderfully.

Turning to Faron, Rose asked, "Is that possible? Could we potentially flood their camp?" She moved over to the wolf, waving Zaruuk over and showing Faron her sketch.

Karzix and Glix - Booty Bay

Glix looked back and forth between them as they argued, wincing at Willowe's mention of their failed spying mission. She crossed her arms, mulling over that disaster. She looked back up, glancing at the spot where the portal had once stood. She really didn't want to dive right into the middle of that camp. Plus, Willowe and Rose's warnings were only making her drive to dive through a portal plummet. But Azu and Tirrae... she rubbed the back of her neck, then looked up at Zaruuk. She tilted her head at his pondering, looking thoughtful.
"Do you really think that would work...? With the two of us, perhaps Zaruuk and I could open an even larger portal to get more water through. And possibly any sharks or carnivorous fish that get too close."

"To elaborate, I have to agree with both sides here." Zaruuk said, walking over to the tacticians. "We need a plan, but we need to be quick. We know that the cultists are diverting portals to them. We need to turn this into our advantage. Flooding them seems the best and quickest option, but I could see us sending through a horde of angry pirates, if that does not work. Or rampaging raptors. Anything. At the very least, it will make them reconsider redirecting portals to them for a time, potentially allowing us to get through to Exodar proper."

Kozri flinched a bit at Willowe's final outburst, but pushed it aside. He'd deal with it later. He was about to snap back a retort when Rose was already distracted with other things.

Azunara could vaguely hear other sounds through the communication, shouting and fighting. She winced, tail lashing as she crept as close to the Cultist Camp as she dared. She heard an ominous cracking sound and set a panicked thought at Kozri. "They're hurting Tirrae! Badly! Something just broke!"

"Personally I think using portals at all is too risky, but I haven't seen them disrupt two portals at once. Perhaps if one of you mages sets up a distraction portal, the other one sets up the real portal. We give the distraction portal a little bit of time to throw the Cultists off and then we make, and go through, the real portal to Exodar."

Rose looked to Faron for confirmation on this idea; wondering if they could get away with it.

Arbennig whined as Myri began to show signs of distress.

Tirrae, Azuremyst

Her plan failing, Tirrae screeched in pain, horn cracking off at the base. Because of the previous cracking, a couple of shards remained. She shuddered again, tucking her paws under her body. Her claws were her own.
Luckily, she had a small hope still - Azu was still around. She'd help, somehow. Hopefully. ...That was the stupidest thing she'd ever thought. She'd come to save Azu, and now she was hoping the ghost would be able to save her, without help?


Faron, Booty Bay

Faron tilted his head. "It might. It depends on who's interfering with the portals. Experienced ones will be able to tell where the portal is coming from... But inexperienced ones will fall for it. As for disrupting multiple portals... As far as I know, they can. But I never payed attention to them, I'm afraid. It depends on how many teams are interrupting the portals. The Exodar camp is small, it might just have one team."

Azuremyst/Cultist Camp

Azunara let out a screech to match Tirrae's own, dropping off and shaking. They were hurting her friend! What was taking so long? Why weren't they saving her? She was going to die! "Kozri! Another crack, and she let out a scream of pain. Koz, where the fel are you? Where in Elune's name are you, they're going to kill her!

Kozri flinched and snarled as Azunara's thoughts reached him. He tried to sound as casual as he could, but the desperation and fear was clear in his voice as he said quietly, "They just broke something. Tirrae's been hurt badly."

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Booty Bay

"I say it is worth a try." Zaruuk shrugged. "I volunteer to set my portal up underwater, I will keep a close eye on how it goes. If two portals is enough for them to catch, we can always hire another mage or two for more of them."
Threnaad stood silent, drumming his fingers on his arm as he waited impatiently. He turned to Kozri worriedly. "Well, we better get this done now, if Koz is any indication."

Senisra - Azuremyst

The mage gave a wicked laugh as Tirrae screeched. "Just think about how our hunter feels!! I"m sure she's feeling it just as much as you are." She let the wound bleed out for a bit to weaken the warpstalker, before finally cauterizing it. Seeing Tirrae hide her claws, Senisra swiftly went for the other horn, cracking the tool down again.


Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

Her last line of defense failed, Tirrae's pain completely overwhelming the hunter's spirit bond. Myri jumped to her hooves "TIRRAE!!!!!" she screeched. Enraged she ran out of whatever room she found herself in. If they didn't build her a portal she was going to kill someone.

Swift snarled, and the flames on his back burned brightly as his hunter's rage infected him.

Arbennig yelped in surprise as Myri ran off.

Magna watched Myri go charging, "Oh crap...."

Rosaliah--Booty Bay

"I'm game to give it a try," the hunter said. She looked to Zaruuk and Glix. "See if you can't round up a few mages real quick and get them to start working on distraction portals. Zaruuk, if possible, I'd rather your distraction portal come from the waters of Azuremyst that way you're near us should we need your help. Wait for the distraction portals to go up and whatever is being sent through it to go through before making the real portal, here, to Exodar."

Glix and Karzix - Booty Bay

Glix gave Zaruuk a curt nod, masking her nervousness. She hated to be one to rely on luck and it seemed like that was the only thing they could depend on at the moment. She gave Rose a quick salute and moved to run off, scanning the residents and looking for anyone that looked to be a mage.

Karzix's ear twitched as he heard Myri's muffled scream of rage. He glanced over at the inn, gritting his teeth. Great. Just what they needed.

Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

Myri flew out of the and was on Zaruuk like a bee to honey. "NOW!!!" she demanded once more of the mage, digging her nails into his arm as far as they could go.

Swift stood behind his master, glowing brightly and snarling, completely feeding of off Myri's rage.

Tirrae, Azuremyst

Tirrae hissed as she was burned, though at least it stopped the bleeding. She was starting to feel lightheaded. Well, maybe that was a good thing. She shivered, screeching again as her other horn was broken off. She thrashed desperately, trying to somehow bite the mage, still keeping her claws hidden. She'd have to be a crisp before she moved her paws.
((Not doing anything with Faron until Sat's back, just Tir's response.))

Near Cultist Camp

Azunara was having a similar reaction to Myri when she heard Tirrae's yowls of pain. Her pain and exhaustion ebbed, and she forced herself to her paws. "They're going to kill her. Kill her, Koz. I'm not going to lose my friend like that." She listened to the sounds of Tirrae's screams and edged close, looping around till she was sooner. She pushed herself easily through the bushes, and her anger gave her another surge of energy, letting her focus and cast a bolt at Senisra to try and make her stop it, if only for a bit.

Kozri looked at Myri and Swift, feeling a lot like they were. Furious. Desperate. He was tempted to help her, really.
