Would it be dumb of me to not let Floette evolve into Florges? I don't like Florges' look as much as I do Flabébé and Floette. I know Florges has good stats, but I'm just playing the in-game storyline. I'm kinda torn. I don't hate Florges, I'm just not as crazy about it. I'm thinking if I do Super Training with Floette, maybe that'll help compensate a little?

Floette wont evolve to Florges unless you expose it to a shiny stone so don't worry about keeping track of stopping it. Do what you feel like. I also kept a Braxien, like Snowy, because I think Delphox is ugly.

I wouldn't say Delphox is ugly, but the hype leading up to the reveal got the best of me and I knew, no matter what, I wasn't going to like it unless it looked exactly like the fan art did. I was even reserved about Braixen when I first saw her since I was hopeful for quadruped evolutions, but I warmed up to her. However I never warmed up to Delphox. Something about her looks... very off. I think it's the massive dress/robe.

Fennekin and Braixen ended up being literally the only two from the starters I liked. I thought both the other lines looked really silly. D: Greninja might not've been so bad if it wasn't for the ridiculous scarf-tongue... thing that it drags along with it. While other people are busy being freaked out by Sylveon's 'flesh ribbons', I'm still bothered by Greninja's scarf-tongue. .___.

I like the other starters except Chespins middle evolution. I don't like Delphix because the massive dress couple with the massive ear hair looks...odd. Braxien looks more natural and friendly and it loses that when it becomes Delphox in my opinion.

This! This is the main thing that keeps me from liking Greninja. I find a lot of things wrong with its design, which its shiny form covers up nicely, except for that tongue. x____x It's a shame because I really wanted to like it. I've grown fond of Braixen, Delphox, and Chesnaught, though. Quilladin looks silly to me, but I don't hate or dislike it, and I'm on the fence with Frogadier.

I only used one Pokemon in the Electric gym: Steampunch (Golurk). Magnitude took care of everything except Emogla, and for that one I just used his Steel-type Heavy Slam because he pretty much outweighs everything. Even being "not very effective", it still beat the crap out of it. I am loving this guy! So fun having my own golem to punch everything's face in! >:D

I hated Fennekin's evolution line until I saw this one artist's rendition on DA. After I saw the drawing, I fell in love with Delphox. It always looked silly to me, but this drawing made him look so wicked-awesome (IMO). It also looked very much like a male, so I had to have a male Fennekin. Thankfully, that's not too hard since they're male like 87.5% of the time anyway.

I also can't get over Greninja's scarf-tongue. I am okay with everything else about the final evoluation, and the two prior, but that tongue is just weird. I'm okay with all of Chespin's evolutions as well.

I dunno what just happened but I got a shiny Phantump out of it all and I'm pretty darn happy! Many thanks to Slendermii for that. <3 I had no idea what to trade so I just. Gave stuff.

Golurk is one of my all time favs and will forever be on my team somewhere! I used him entirely for the fairy gym as well...Heavy Slam with the steel-typing and all the fairies are pretty damn smaller than him...one-shots them all. I love the big lug! Hence why I'm trying to get a shiny one lol (it's really pretty to me).

Oi. I think I'm going to take a long break from breeding Vulpix... For now I have a 5 IV Eevee and I'm trying to breed down useful IVs for an Umbreon. Yay for training my third Umbreon. <3

I love shiny Golurk too!!! However, I don't think I have it in me to do all this breeding that you other folks do. Hundreds upon hundreds of eggs.....nah. Besides, I'm attached to this one. :3

Did I ever tell you the only shiny I've ever found was called Nothing? It's pretty awesome looking. 800+ eggs later and still no shiny golette... I was thinking for breeding a shiny honedge but that's probably out of the question now lol.

I don't even know what to say about my shiny luck. I was the unluckiest person ever in the previous gens, the only shiny I ever found being a Vulpix that I spent THREE MONTHS searching for. I never found shinies out of pure luck, not once. Now in X, I'm finding some without even trying. I accidentally hatched a shiny Eevee. I accidentally found a shiny Gastrodon in a safari. I hatched a shiny Charmander after only 65 eggs. Aaaaand then there's my other shiny Vulpix who took roughly 700 eggs (I wrote the actual sum down in the notes on my 3DS but I cba to check) because shiny Vulpix doesn't like me.

I *have* been breeding for a shiny Glameow... slowly. I've been kinda hooked on FF XIV recently and not spent much time on Pokémon. :/
