Azunara yowled fierecly at Senisra, but the arcane blast winded her, sending her to the ground and writhing. That never, ever, ever had hurt as much when she was alive. The light energy burned, and she found she couldn't move. She gave a panicked cry, unable to even thrash or move or do anything. She managed a defiant hiss at Cori, then fell back into silence. Koz? They got me. I'm really sorry, but I'm done for. The mage is trying to keep Tirrae alive, or at least for a bit, but she's all blackened and is missing her horns. I don't know what they'll do. Soul shard me, I guess."

Booty Bay

Kozri flinched as he heard Azunara's words, looking up at the others. For a moment, he was tempted to relay her words, but decided against it. He doubted any of them needed to hear Tirrae's condition and Azu's capture at this state. He tried to keep his expression neutral enough.

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Booty Bay

Thren frowned as he looked out to the ocean, wishing the mages would get here quicker. Silently, he was grateful for Karzix's harsh tone towards Myri, although he said nothing. He managed to get her to calm down, more than he was able to do. He wondered if a trip down to the heart of Exodar might do this group some good. Once they rescued Azu and Tirrae anyway.

Zaruuk returned, eyes still a fel-green, with another two mages following behind. One human, one goblin, both of them seemed skittish. The draenei nodded to the group, his fingers cutting into his palms.
"Will this be enough?" He asked, a razor sharpness to his voice. "And are we going to place the distraction portals underwater or not?"

Myriana - Booty Bay

Myri shifted herself around until she had Thren between her and the others, but otherwise stood silently. They could all shoot her when this was over. She certainly deserved more than that, she had behaved so atrociously, causing them to delay more than was necessary. She turned her head at the sound of Zaruuk's voice and unconsciously took another step closer to Thren. She didn't like the way the mage's eyes burned one bit. Myri looked down again, biting her lip until it bled in an effort to not loose control again.

Rosaliah--Booty Bay

Rose had been getting ready to answer Decay's question when saw Zaruuk approach. "What the fel?" she muttered to herself, aiming her gun at him. "Yes, underwater, in the middle of raptors or pirates; it doesn't matter really just get them creating portals, quickly."

Tirrae screeched in terror as Azu was caught, writhing to try and get away. She tried to lash out at the mage, to get her to drop the leash.

Tirrae's thrashing knocked the mage on her feet, making her drop the rope. She scrambled after Tirrae, grabbing the rope and trying to tug the warpstalker back into a ball, once more flinging another fireball at her.

Azunara tried again to move, but the spell lasted, and the light energy was extremely blinding and painful. "Kozri will tear all of you up," She said angrily, "Rip you up and tear you up and blast you to bits and devour your corpses. And then Decay will bring you back and she'll murder you all." She shouted, unable to do much more, her last shout turning into a sharp whine. Ow. Ow, ow, ow.

Batlek and Tirrae, Azuremyst

Batlek's mist condensed into a hand, which reached out to touch Azunara's chin - or at least make the gesture, as the cat was a ghost.
"Tell them that I look forward to their arrival," he responded calmly, then reconnected the link to continue draining the druid's soul. One hand clenched the tiny soul shard from earlier.

Tirrae whined in pain, twisting to try and see what was happening to Azunara. Seeing Batlek draining her spirit, she wailed, turning away and curling up into a tight ball on her own will. There was nothing she could do! She'd made this happen.

Magna peeled himself off the floor, "....note to self....Myri's punches hurt!" he said to himself with a chuckle.

He looked at Myri again. All of this with Tirrae was reminding him about what happened with Arbennig.....those experiments and pain felt through the spirit bond.....he'd have to talk to her at some point about this...

Azunara shrunk away from Batlek as he reached for her, giving a defiant growl. She recoiled as she felt that horrible gnawing feeling, eating away at her and dropped into a rather soft, scared hiss. No, no, no. She couldn't run. She couldn't do anything. "I'm really sorry, Tirrae." She said quietly, fear evident in her voice.

Myriana - Booty Bay

Zaruuk was really creeping her out, which was the last thing she needed. She looked over at Magna, immediately feeling even worse for punching the Orc. Granted, he was the one who had gotten in the way but still... She used her Gift on him, hoping to mend anything that might be damage. And she had to admit, using her Gift made her feel a tiny be more in control. She silently told Tirrae that they were coming. It shouldn't be too much longer, she hoped.

Senisra - Azuremyst

The mage chuckled at Tirrae. She stroked the warpstalker as she curled into a ball, slightly cinging her scales. "See this is what happens when you try and be heroic Little Pet. Everyone winds up getting hurt." she chuckled again but stayed where she was. She wanted the warpstalker to see Azu suffer.

Tirrae and Batlek, Azuremyst

Tirrae looked up at Senisra, her vision swimming slightly. You think I don't know that by now? She hissed bitterly, standing suddenly to try and force her way over to Azunara, trying to at least stand by the druid. She'd lead her Druid to a second death, she may as well try to show some sort of support.

Batlek completely ignored both Senisra and Tirrae, focused on the soul shard growing in his palm. The pale, pinkish crystal was very bright, but not quite what he'd expected from a pure soul like the druid. Something was still binding her to this world.

Azunara had been all set to die again, vaguely aware Tirrae was close to her. She had sent a small, not even coherent thought to Kozri, an apology for getting them into this mess. But when she didn't find herself...dying again, she opened one eye, confused. "Wha?" She croaked. Her form was even more spectral and see through, flickering and shaking with the draining, but she was definitely still there.

Sabra and Ambrosia--Azuremyst Isle

Sabra watched her father with glee, admiring the soul shard he was creating. Seeing Senisra trying to torture Tirrae reminded her of her own prisoner. Oh yeah, she still had that warrior. Hrm.

The troll made her way back to her tent to find both Lo'ki and her felhunter back there. Lo'ki was asleep next to Sabra's bed and the felhunter was crouched in front of Nyrali, eyeing the warrior semi-hungrily. She wasn't a magic user, but her flesh would still taste just as nice. Sabra smirked as the demon reached out with it's rough tongue to lick Nyrali, tasting her.

Ambrosia watched Batlek with mild interest while waiting for her own infusion. Well, at least it seemed as if two of the trouble makers wouldn't live for much longer.

The warrior was doing her damndest to not let anything show, but having the felhunter lick her just set her skin to crawling. She used her Gift on it, just make the demon go away.

Senisra tugged at Tirrae's rope, trying to drag her away from Azu.

Azunara gave a low whine, still unable to move or focus or anything. It was all really, really, really blurry and she had the hugest headache in the world. She didn't even know she could get headaches this badly as a ghost! The worst part was her limbs refused to listen to her, as most of her essence was now in Batlek's hands. She doubted she could make herself get up, even if the spell wore off. She gave a short growl through her gritted teeth. He could though, damn troll.

"We have our mages, let's go." Kozri said sharply, turning towards the exit of the Bay.

Batlek, Lightfur and Tirrae, Azuremyst

Batlek eyed the druid curiously. "Something is tying it to this world. It will not fade completely until that object is destroyed." That was fine with him. He had a minion now. He sent a mental demand to the shard, telling the druid to move away from the tent with Senisra and Tirrae and follow him.

Tirrae watched Azunara in amazed joy. She was still there! She tried to nuzzle the druid, but the tug from Senisra pulled her away. At least Azu wasn't dead. Despite her obvious predicament, she was greatly cheered by that. She wasn't cheered by Batlek's control over her Druid, but at least there was a sliver of hope for the ghost. She grinned ever so slightly, then quickly wiped it from her snout, knowing that Senisra would take advantage of her moment of happiness.

Lightfur's ritual drew to an end and the druid stood, moving away. Plants around him were beginning to twist and grow thorns, writhing about. He motioned for Plague or Light beasts to be assembled.

Cori - Cultist Camp

As Batlek seemed to be in control of the druid now, Cori released the spell, breaking the bonds, and moved over to the pentacle, happily awaiting her next infusion.

Azunara growled bitterly as she was forced to her paws, following after Batlek. She gave a look at Tirrae, whimpering quietly. Thank Elune the spell had worn, and the burning light energy wasn't so bad, and she was still here. They could still rescue Tirrae. And they had saved Decay before, and she had been soul sharded. She looked down at herself dejectedly. More of her was...not there. Faded.

When the mages stood there, Kozri growled and beckoned, and the few that were employed quickly began to follow after, deciding that standing around was not a good idea. Alright. Time to find some distractions. He figured the group would trail eventually, but standing around was still getting them nowhere.

Camp

The light beasts were quickly gathered and led to the pentacle, and the Cultists ran over the rather familiar words, beginning the infusion.

Threnaad and Zaruuk - Booty Bay

"Zar, you okay?" Thren asked. He had never seen Zar's eyes looking like that before.
"Yes." The mage snapped back, before grunting a little and massaging a temple. "Yeah. I am fine."
Zaruuk waved his two magi over, heading outside of Booty Bay, attempting to push away the Man'ari just under his skin and place it back in it's cage. But it was determined to stay put and to call out for more blood. More pain. His, the cultists, his friends, didn't matter. Once safely outside of Booty Bay, he arranged his magi so they were on the shoreline.
"Thren. Waterbreathing." He said. The shaman nodded and casted the spell on each mage. With a nod, Zaruuk turned back to look at the ocean. "Just say when."
