Azunara snarled, "Arbennig, just -go!- He'll kill you, he'll shatter the shard and kill you, and then it might kill me or something. And then instead of everyone being fine, both of us will die! Just go, I'll be okay." She insisted, and Kozri once more altered time around himself, slowly starting to function better and allowing him to avoid most of the scorching flames. ((Evasion, with a Bronze Dragon twist.)) He reached out for Arbennig's collar, trying to pull him away. The beast was a -lot- heavier, and he knew he couldn't, really tug him away, but the poor drakeadon was going to fry, and he didn't want Arbennig to die.

Kozri watched as Batlek did something and growled, trying to slow time for Batlek so they could escape. Azunara paced, lashing her tail. She didn't want her friends to die.

Magna - Camp

Arbennig whined from the health loss and the fear. The fear caused him to start running.

He looked up at Kozri, the shard glinting in his mouth.

[Lupis]

Batlek, Azuremyst

Batlek scowled at the time slow, but now that Arbenning was running he felt he had more time. He briefly opened a window to the world of spirits, tearing a malicious ghost from the world and forcing it to haunt Arbenning. ((Haunt))

Karzix and Glix - Azuremyst

Glix grimaced, her ears pinning back as she watched the battle with some panic. Holding her tongue between her teeth, a swirling ball of ice and fire grew between her palms, growing to a considerable size before she launched it at the many beasts around the fleeing Arbennig and Kozri.
Karzix silently watched the growing number of beasts, swallowing. Spotting Kozri and Arbennig trying to make a run for it he zipped out of hiding, rummaging around in his pockets. Grabbing hold of a smoke bomb he threw it at Batlek's direction and then immediately started to backpedal, hoping that the obscuring smoke would assist the pair in their escape.

Magna - Camp

Arbennig began to whimper when he was Haunted, shaking all over.

Kozri and Azunara
Azuremyst

Kozri watched as smoke billowed all over, grateful for the other rogue. He dropped his own to add, thickening it. Azunara was dragged along with the soul shard, its command to follow still ringing. "We'll be okay, Arbennig. We'll be fine. If he finds us, run for it and I'll hold him off, okay?" He said quietly, standing besides the corehound.

Magna - Camp

Arbennig nodded. He nudged Kozri's hand, trying to get him to open it.

Magna ran over to Willowe, lifting her, "c'mon Willowe...we're getting outta here..."

He ran back to his wife.

Batlek and Lightfur, Azuremyst

Batlek closed his eyes against the smoke, then began to murmur. Runes glowed on the ground around him. A green light burst into life high in the sky, approaching quickly and revealing itself to be a green and grey meteor. It crashed into the ground beside the warlock, and a stone demon emerged from the smoke, roaring and charging after the escaping core hound. ((Summon Infernal, Bat's pulling out all the stops!))

Lightfur shifted back to his "natural" form, growling at the plants around him. Vines began to grow up to try and entangle Arbenning's feet. ((Entangling Roots))

Karzix and Glix - Azuremyst

Karzix jerked his head up at the brilliant green light, stopping to stare as the meteor crashed to the ground. He squinted at the place it had hit the the ground, trying to see what had happened past the fog. He let out a startled squawk as the infernal burst through the smoke, turning around and redoubling his efforts to flee. It might not be targeting him specifically, but it could probably crush him if he got caught beneath its feet.
Glix gave the vines growing around Arbennig a worried look, hesitating. She opened her palm and let out a small, experimental blast of fire, only to have it spiral away out of control. She bit her lip, her brow furrowing. She clenched her hands in frustration as she realized she might just burn Arbennig instead of the vines.

Kozri blinked, opening his hand to take what the corehound was giving him. He sent an arcane blast at the vines growing around him, growling. "Get ready to go."

Magna - Camp

Arbennig dropped the shard into his hand.

He began to run.

[Lupis]

Infernal and Lightfur, Azuremyst

The infernal changed targets. It charged at Kozri, swinging a massive fist at the rogue and bellowing. Lightfur murmured quietly as he grew more vines, this time aiming to tie Kozri to the ground.

Myriana, Swift, and Senisra - Azuremyst

Swift growled and sent a wall of flame at the two beasts attacking him, hoping one would swoop low enough so he could burn it to oblivion.

Now Myri was getting frightened. Apparently this time Senisra wasn't going to back down until she had her again. Myri was glad that Magna had come and gotten Willowe as another wave of fire from the mage burned her. Gritting her teeth, the hunter stood her ground and shot a concussive shot at the mage, trying to slow her down so she could retreat with the others. This was all her fault and Kozri was going to murder her and her friends were probably going to be just as pissed as he was. She hesitated as she actually started to consider to just let Senisra have her.

Senisra still kept advancing towards the hunter, and noticed Myri's moment of hesitation. "Oh! So you do want to come with me after all! Lovely!" The elf quickened her pace.

Tirrae, Exodar

Concerned, Tirrae had been following Myri's emotions carefully. The new fear concerned her. She stood, tense, and began to pace, wincing every step. She mentally begged her Hunter to retreat back to Exodar.

Kozri and Azunara

"Bring it," The rogue snarled, and as the fist came swinging towards hi, let his disguise drop. Instead of being squished, he was now merely winded, and he gave a roar at the Infernal, keeping the claw with the soul shard close to his body to protect it. He slowed time around the Infernal and charged forward, snapping his jaws to try and break it. Azunara hovered close to the shard, hissing defiantly. "You can do it, Koz. Watch it, vines!" Kozri launched more arcane energy at them, but the pulse hit Azunara as well, who howled in pain. It scorched the vines, though.

Magna - Camp

Magna rested Willowe in Asli's arms, "Get your sister and run! I'll catch up later!"

He ran back in towards Myri, "We gotta get outta here!"

Arbennig whined. He realized he was in quite a loty of pain.

[Lupis]

Infernal, Lightfur and Batlek, Azuremyst

The infernal fell back slightly, then surged back again. The fire in its chest spattered before roaring into bright, furious flames that momentarily consumed the entire body of the demon, spreading to burn Kozri. ((Demonic Immolation Passive)) Slowed, it aimed a strong, slow punch at the dragon's back.

The smoke was clearing and Batlek could see the shard glimmering in Kozri's claws. He began stacking curses on the dragon, intending to weaken him. ((Curse of Exhaustion, Bane of Agony, Corruption, Unstable Affliction))

Lightfur ignored the fleeing adventurers - it was no use trying to stop him. He was getting tired, but a quick peer into the Nightmare rejuvenated some of his energy. ((Innervate)) He began growing more vines up to try and drag down the dragon, slowing his attacks. ((Entangling Roots))

Kozri and Azunara
Azuremyst

Kozri gave a shudder of pain as the curses afflicted him, and the flames bit at his scales, though they just charred them as opposed to hurting him. What did hurt him was flame that licked at wing membrane, and he roared. He ducked out of the way to dodge the punch, but the vines crawling up his legs were starting to get annoying.

He lashed out at the vines with a smaller, more controlled burst of energy that hurt him, but freed of them, he moved to take off into the sky. He flared his wings, trying to override Batlek's command, telling Azunara through the shard to run for it. The flames scorched his wings, but he figured he could get a few seconds flight away to escape before it grew too much and he had to crash.

Myriana and Nyrali - Azuremyst

Nyrali bashed Ambrosia once more with her shield before turning to see the unconscious Cori. Seeing to opportunity, the warrior ran up to the priest and threw her over her shoulder. She began to run as fast as she could to the Exodar, using her Gift to burn away some of the plague the rogue had given her.

Seeing the Orc try and take her prize, the mage shot a cone of fire at Myri and Magna, in an attempt to slow them both down. Feeling weaker, the mage stopped and swigged back a mana potion, before readying another attack.

Myri had nodded at the other hunter, throwing an explosive trap and Lightfur and Batlek in the process. She used her Gift on Arbennig, trying to help the corehound, while silently telling Swift to retreat. Myri was turning to follow Magna when she got hit with Senisra's attack. She bit her lip til it bled again, but still continued to run, ignoring the protests of her charred body.

Magna - Booty Bay

Arbennig ran over to Magna and Myri, flipping them onto his back.

He ran to Swift and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.
