Even your girlfriend slapped you in the face...at what point is it okay to comment "I'm alright, I've got someone far more interesting sitting right here." to me, when you're sitting next to your girlfriend?! I went over to try and regain her friendship, not have you near enough hump her in front of me, and comment I'm not interesting enough for you.

However, I shouldn't complain. I was spoken to at least, I guess...

tbh this guy sounds jealous of your friendship...that kind of relationship burns out fairly quick, he'll be gone in a month tops. Just ignore the pair of them you deserve better than that mate

Okay so yesterday's presentation never happened because I essentially had a panic attack. x___x; BUT luckily I got spoken to and I'm allowed to do it outside of normal class time! Which I'm much happier with, my biggest issue was knowing all these people were going to see my work... only issue is it's *today*. D: I'm not nearly as nervous but still a bit worried! Hope this goes by fast...

So at this point I am just waiting to hear the laugh track because this sounds like the elaborate setup of a comedy show. My dads birthday is tomorrow. a few weeks ago my sister and I decided that for our gift we would make his favorite cake from scratch and surprise him with it. (German chocolate. he only likes it if everything is homemade so its a rare thing to have.) we get all the ingredients in advance, find the recipe and decide to make it on the 14th, the day before his birthday.

it started snowing yesterday. you know where my dad works? the schools. guess what happened today? it kept snowing! so for the first time in years, we have a snow day (in november!) and it lands on the one day we HAVE make his cake!
it gets better. we start working on in while he is sleeping only to find out that all the eggs we bought are gone. turns out that since he has the day off he woke up before the rest of us and made himself a 6 egg breakfast!
Now my poor mom is driving to the store in the snow to get the eggs we need for the frosting while we try and get the cake cooked before he figures it out.
Also my brother was supposed to help pitch in for this but all he did was throw four bucks at the problem and call things even. he didn't even bother to clean off the counters for us and that's one of his chores.

sheesh! I know making a German chocolate cake is supposed to be hard but the chain of unlucky events is just crazy. Its funny to think about but right now its just a mess. I have two hours of sleep under my belt and i don't even have time to take a nap.

So I have a vegan friend and so I see the stupid things she posts on Facebook. Just saw a comment saying keeping chickens in your backyard is equal to owning human slaves.

Well that means the guy next door has quite a few slaves then!

Honestly I can't stand people like that.

A chicken living out its life in a backyard, even if they're raised solely for eggs and/or meat, is MUCH better off than if it were living in some factory farm.

Some people are even against domestic animals completely... Because my dogs are totally slaves. They get fed high quality food, they get to have the run of the house & yard, I play & exercise with them daily - they have an entire basket full of toys, they only get trained via positive reinforcement, they sleep on my bed or wherever they please. I'm totally going to hell.

Also annoys me when vegans try to make their pets vegan too. Whatever, you want to choose that lifestyle? That's your choice. But don't force it on your pets, especially when they are obligate carnivores. aka cats.

I have a "friend" like that on facebook too (known him since school but havent seen for 10yrs) and hes such an asshole about it. They think by saying how we are all murderers we will magically see reason and become a vegan LOL. He's the biggest bully and frankly i feel sorry for the 0.2% of population who think the rest will conform to their choice of lifestyle by saying really outrageous stuff. I generally just ignore them as they won't ever "agree to disagree" in a civilized debate...
