Nope! They're deceasus and you can get as many as you can hold.

And Jess, to answer your question earlier, I'm not sure yet! I think I'll have a base of mostly minicorns, but since their colors are so limited I might build up some others - it's just harder to find pegasi and so on than it is to find minis for some reason, and the fact that I snag any egg that looks pretty probably doesn't help my progress any. :P
