Max level i tame is lvl 300 as then when fully tamed they become 450.. which means i can level them the rest of the way to 1000 myself.. and put the points where i want them. it gives you 548 points to play around with. Max point is 255 but i set it to 250 so a mistake dont reset it all..

just to show you I leveled two of the brontos up, one champion and one alpha so you can see the stats difference in a max (almost) lvl bronto on my server. The stats are insane but its due to stuff in my ini file.. you do NOT want to mess around with lvl 1000 + animals in the wild until you leveled your dinos up and also why i use the super tranq rifle mod.. .http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =686599588 which sadly dont work againts prime alphas.... they just kill you unless you a) are higher lvl than then or b) got more dinos with you so you numerwise outrank them.. but sometimes they kill you anyway

Ive put 250 points in each health and damage on these and then a few points in speed and weight (around 24 in each). The tanks will later have turrets all over their platform saddles.. Last time we tried broad mother we had 10 of these.. + all of our dps dinos... she killed them all with ease Need many dinos this round

We might let go of the Champion and focus only on alpha as their health is higher... but boy they are hard to find at the lvl we want them in the wild spotted a lvl 800 today

but then again the champion does more dps.. hard choice heh

GLEE Ragnarok is an official map!!! Nice!! and Gryphons!! Must download Ragnarok now... !!... Time to start over again.. good think we did not get so fare on our "new" try. Going to delete it all and install it all again.. because for some reason it install double on my computer


I know exactly how i want it though which is good! No idea where to build as I never tried Ragnarok.. super excited prob first going to play tomorrow as its close to 11 pm in Denmark

Ragnarok isn't finished, currently the desert area is blocked off because it's still being worked on, if you build there your build may get destroyed in the next update.

heh i just build in the green area then I thought when they released it it was going to be more complete than this...


did they somehow change that we can download mods? mine just wont download.. Im not used to the new ui settings so maybe there is a box i havent clicked or unclicked somewhere...

I go into the mods in Steam and click maps and find it there, it downloads from there just fine.

yeah Ragnarok does.. but i mean my normal mods wont load in now... they just went POOOF!

Sometimes I have to open both Ark and Steam to get them going.

this is the first time of me deleting and reinstaling ark that i had problem with mods not installing.. i wanna bet there is a box i forgot to click/unclick

So that's what the Ark alert I got was about. I may check that out. I may wipe my island server (again) and change it to the Ragnarok map.

Do you need Scorched Earth for Ragnarok? I don't have it purchased as I had no interest in the desert map just by itself, but a map that is pretty much a merge of the desert and island map would be pretty awesome.

I want to say I don't believe so. No where on the information page does it say SE requirement. All I know is my server that was for the island is being changed.

Ragnarok is a map on its own. Dont think Scorched is required.... not sure though...

I started in Viking Bay 1 and the first thing i noticed is that you cannot build where you start up.. you need to move down/up a bit. Maybe its on purpose so you dont spawn inside houses.



All the sliders they have now is a bit hard to work out what they do..and which way to turn them.. have not seen a guide yet.. e.g i cant get my stats multiplier to work...

or find the button where it says " show player on map"

I started in Viking bay three. So far I am really loving Ragnarok. It’s very beautiful. Pretty much all the same creatures. I did see a Griffin. I have a lot of screen shots. I’ll post tonight once I get home from work. I did end up having to kick several people. I was nice about it but I finally ended up whitelisting the server. I understand people want to try Ragnarok but I do not agree that just anyone can hop into an unofficial server. If any PETOPIAN wants to join the server you must PM me here & on Steam. With the server being whitelisted there are steps I have to take (if I understand whitelisting) to ensure you can access it.

Nef, Seila, Ashaine & Ash’s Hubby – I am going to be disbanding the tribe tonight on Prim Plus 14. At the latest tomorrow. Unless you leave the tribe on your own I have to kick people. I would really prefer not to kick. It sounds mean. This was a mutual decision so kicking seems wrong. But I will because we’re all on at completely separate times and I just don’t see things changing hands easily. Since everything is /was set to “personal” everything should go with you when it’s disbanded. Anything you do not want can always be unclaimed later and passed off to another person. Several senior Ark players have confirmed everything for sure leaves with you.

Ashaine /Hubby – I hope you see this. Are either of you returning to Ark???? Please let me know. Send me a pm or IM on steam if you’re more comfortable going that route.

Are the griffins tameable?

Griffons should be tameable.. they ride them in the video.. Have yet to see one.

Building on Ragnarok is kinda tricky.. Lots of places where you cant place structures.. even s+....

Awesome. Trying to download the Ragnarok map and I'm getting the "in library" bug where it won't download it because it's saying I have it, but I don't.

Anywho, have two silly screenshots.

I found an Archa near the edge of Redwoods. She's not the prettiest thing, to me, but I tamed her because I wanted one. I love how you hold them over your head like a toy plane. Here's me vrooooming around on my wolf with no pants on. (Microraptors broke them.)

Ragnarok doesn't have Archa, Iggies, Spino or Megalosaurus.. or Thyla!! Maybe I won't move to one permanently then. It's missing too many of my favorites/liked dinos. I'd love a Wyvern and Griffin though. Maybe I'll just play on Nef's or single player.

My dinos so far are " Dont poop on my shoulders", "Pawsome" and "Village" I dyed Village. The tri horns you see in the background on the first shot are wild.. cant really figure out the sliders on how to keep the dinos from spawning inside my area

Maybe the list on Wiki isn't complete. I figured it was a mash of The Island and Scorched Earth map, but I don't know. Maybe I'll start a single player session and go explore just to see for myself.
