Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
The goblin swallowed, staring at the troll. "That's... that's impossible. That goblin should be dead." He furrowed his brow, staring down at the ground as he struggled to take the information in. "Where did you last see him?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
The mage looked at Vixik with interest before turning back to Batlek. She'd let the troll answer questions like that. She looked back at the goblin, a plan starting to form in her mind.
Myriana and Swift - Nagrand
Myri was quite a ways from Asli and Magna's house by this point. She was looking around and enjoying the scenery and wildlife, certainly understanding why her friends loved this place. She loved it herself.
Swift raced ahead, pouncing on bugs and flowers. And he was extra careful to not pounce on any bees.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Lesari moved her hand up onto Crescent Oath's hilt, a slight snarl on her face. Great, now this one knew his sibling was alive. Now he had hope, or she assumed he did, and hope was a dangerous thing. And what had they gained thus far? Nothing. Waste of time and energy. The second he started squirming for freedom, she'd put an end to this farce.

"Not for much longer," Batlek growled. "He and his posse will burn." If the goblin liked his brother, he'd be killed - and if he hated his brother, then he might be helpful.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Myri continued walking, not really following any straight path. She thought she felt the ground rumble a bit and looked at Tirrae. "What did you do that fo-" she was cut off as she got backhanded into a boulder with a sickening pop as several ribs broke. She shook her head to clear it and looked above her to one of the most giant montrous..well..whatever the hell it was - in her life.
The Gron looked down at the hunter and grinned. "Tooooyyy" it said as it made another grab for her.

The goblin's head shot up and he regarded Batlek carefully. "That bastard owes me more than his miserable life is worth," he finally hissed. "You want some help?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
The mage kept her face straight but was pleased. She could hear the hatred of Karzix in the goblin's voice. If Batlek accepted the goblin's offer to help, she would voice her plan, which in all honestly, was was very similar to the bitch warriors, but would probably be more successful.
((He backhanded her that far XD LOL I'll fix it. And I've been typing booty bay and catching myself all night. That was the first time I didn't catch myself))
Myriana and Swift - Nagrand
Myri rolled out of the monster's way with a grunt of pain. She used her Gift on herself as she grabbed her bow and fired off several shots at it. The arrows only managed to annoy the gronn more, making it pound its fist into the ground, throwing the hunter even farther back. Myri landed on her back as she heard another popping noise as the ribs she had just tried to heal broke even more. Ignoring the pain, she fired a concussive shot at the brute followed by a poisoned arrow (whoo serpent sting). Swift tried to distract the thing from his mistress by firing over several massive fireballs. The gronn howled in pain and turned on the fox.

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Nagrand
It didn't take the two draenei long to reach their destination. Zaruuk had been insistant on getting there as soon as possible, Threnaad was having troubles keeping up with him. By the time they arrived on the little overlook, the broken was quite out of breath. Curse his body.
The hillside was overgrown with grass and mossy ricks, with a single, purple crystaline gravestone placed close to the edge. If one looked up from the edge of the hill, one could see the crashed remnants of Oshu'gun towering before them, like a great mountain of glittering diamond. It was not hard to see why the orcs revered the wreckage as holy ground.
Wordlessly, Zaruuk walked over to the grave and stood before it. The wind picked up, causing the grass to rustle softly, rippling around the mage's hocks. Threnaad slowly moved up to him, breathing still laboured. He looked down to the stone, then carefully knelt down beside it, starting to clear away a little of the moss that had built up around it's edges.
"Hey sis." He said as he worked, smiling as he did so. "Sorry I let this place get to such a state. I've been busy though, you wouldn't believe where I've been and what I've been up to."
Behind him, Zaruuk got to work on clearing away some of the stray rocks and weeds, silently listening to Thren talk.
"We're helping to save the world, or at least a lot of good people. Some insane cult, blame Zar for getting me into it." Thren chuckled. "If you were around, the Cult have give up already out of fear of your awesome might... You would like the friends we made. Well, most of them anyway, I think Swift might've annoy you. He's a fox, almost as good at getting into mischief as I am. And he's on fire. You should have seen him throw a fireball at A'dal earier today! The Naaru wasn't hurt, of course. I even think it might have been a little amused. It's not every day a fox throws a ball of fire at you.
"And his mistress, Myriana. She's a lovely girl. Been through a lot of crap though, but she's just as strong as you were. She'll be fine. Then there's Azunara, she's a ghost druid cat. I know! We have such strange company these days. There's also Glix and Karzix, they're goblins. Goblins are kind of like etherials, only shorter and green. Better at business than the etherials, if you can believe that. And Willowe the worgen. I think I annoy her. Magna the orc-Don't worry, he's nice. Gentlest orc I've ever met. He has a draenei missus, we're visiting with them. Oh, and then there's Decay, she's a little quiet. Seems nice though. And, oh you won't believe this, but-you know what, I think I'll let Zar talk about her"
He stopped and stood up with a grunt. The hillside was looking much cleaner now, the gravestone shone in the afternoon sun. "That's right, Zaruuk is with me for once! Miracle, I know. He has some news to tell you, so I'm going to shut up for once and let him talk."
Zaruuk turned to look at the now-clean grave, walking over to stand right next to it.
"Um..." He whispered, unsure of what to say. He'd never really spoken to a grave before. It kind of felt a little surreal to tell the truth. He shuffled his hooves about. "It's been a long time, Sha'kari... Sorry. I... I guess I have a hard time coming to terms with it still... I miss you."
The mage stopped to clear his throat of the phlegm building up. This was much harder then Threnaad had made it out to be. "I'm sorry. I tried to forget you. I hoped it would make the pain go away. It didn't, just made me feel guilty. And you deserve better than that-"
"Oh Velen's balls Zar, talk about something happy!" Thren interrupted, grinning. "She doesn't need to hear you crying, you've done enough of that."
"Your brother is as rude as always." Zaruuk shot the shaman a glare, then returned to looking at the grave. "But he means well, I suppose... I, uh... I met someone. I hope you don't mind. She makes me happy again."
He cleared his throat once more. "Her name is Indigosa. Indi for short. I think you would have liked her. Doesn't take crap from anyone, as Thren can attest to. Can almost keep him in line, if you can believe that. She's not here at the moment, she has a few troubles she's getting sorted out. It'll be tough, but she can do it. She's strong."
The mage fell silent, listening to the wind whistle though the grass around him. He had to admit, it felt good to get that off his chest. Myri had been right, this was a chance for him to heal. Or at least, for a part of him to heal.
"I wish I had the same strength you and she have. Had. I am not sure you would like how I've been acting as of late. It feels like I'm at war with myself." He sighed and shook his head, then looked up, resolute. "But I will try to be strong. For you, for Indi. You two deserve that."
Finally, Zaruuk stood up and looked up to Oshu'gun. "I think... I think I'm okay, Thren. Thank you."
"Bah, don't thank me." Thren waved his hand dismissively. "Kyali wanted to see you. It's all her doing. I hear her on the wind, feel her in the ground. She's happy you're here and doing okay without her."
"Really?" Zaruuk asked.
"Yep. I'm a shaman, I know I'm talking about." Thren nodded. In reality, it was a little more vague than he made it out to be. Spirits were fickle things. But he could feel some sort of remnant of his sister here and if it would help Zaruuk out a little, he was more than happy to doctor the truth up a bit. The mage did look more at peace.
"Come on, let's get back before Magna sends out those two great big devilsaurs to chase us down and drag us back." The broken said, placing a hand on his brother's shoulder.
"Do you mind if I stay here a little longer?" Zaruuk asked. "I know the way back."
"Sure thing Zar." Thren nodded, then turned to the grave. "See you soon Ky. I promise I'll visit sooner next time!"
With that, the broken trundled down the hillside, humming softly to himself. Zaruuk watched Thren leave, then turned back to stare at Osu'gun in the distance. He wanted to watch one more sunset, wanted to see Oshu'gun glow the most vibrant orange one last time. The wind delicately whipped around him as he sat down, the grass tickling his arms and legs. He took in a deep breath, savouring the delicate scent of the Nagrand flora, remembering times long since past.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Also, let's assume Tirrae is getting target practice XD))
Myriana and Swift - Nagrand
The fox continued to distract the gronn, running through it's legs and throwing fire balls at it, as Myri continued to litter the thing with all sorts of arrows. Finally the brute seemed to tired of chasing the fox or the arrows were finally doing their job. Hopefully both. The brute slowed and turned to Myri, trying to make one more attempt to crush. Myri took aim and fired off one of few remaining arrows. The arrow flew true and went straight through the gronn's throat. The monster gave a horrible death roar before falling away from the hunter and her pets with a resounding crash that caused Myri to bounce a few feet.
The hunter and her fox sat for a few moments in silence before she leaned back against a rock. It was a bit hard to breathe. She painfully got to her hooves and wearily made her way around the thing and back towards Magna and Asli's place, Swift following tiredly behind her. "Welcome to Nagrand" she muttered.
Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Elevander and Squires - Shattrath to Nagrand
Elevander watched the fire fox and black lion play and laughed to himself. It had been a while since he had seen such light heartedness.
Turning to the others he said "If you would excuse me I really should get into my work clothes."
He left to his room at Aldor Rise. Elevander had tried to live with the Elves in Scryers Tier but just hadn't felt comfortable there. More a fault Elevander saw in himself as both groups had done their best to make him feel comfortable. Elevander dressed as quickly as is possible for plate armour but spend some time looking at the tabards he owned.
It was Captain Soulfury that had requested that I accompanied these people. He thought to himself. He looked at the other two tabards. But The Shattered Sun doesn't feel right. He had made his choice and placed the white tabard with the black and gold sun over his armour. A quick check of his sword and shield showed that they were still in good condition. Only thing left to do was get Squires out of the stable.
The Draenei stable boy looked at Elevander with horror as he approached, was he to try and feed the demon again?
"Dont worry boy. I'm taking Squires out for today." Elevander said patting the boy on a shoulder. The stable boy shuddered with relief and then ran away. Elevander looked at Squires in his own corner of the stables. Squires looked at Elevander, snorted and turned away dissmissively.
"Sorry I haven't been around much old friend. No need for a Ardent Charger when all I do is carry purple energy cubes through a portal, but we've been asked to help some people out." Elevander said. Squires turned back to Elevander with a look that said 'all is forgiven now let's get out of here'.
Elevander opened the stall and led Squires out, he quickly checked to see if the barding was on correct... and then Squires kicked Elevander hard enough to land him on his back and knock the breath out of him. Before Elevander could get up, Squires put one hoof on the Elf's chest and bit him as hard as possible on his arm.
"Yes I do believe I deserved that Squires. Now do you mind getting off me?" Elevander asked. Squires looked down at the elf and then bit him again, on the shoulder. Elevander then swung his shield up and smashed Squires on the side of his head. Not hard enough to hurt the horse but enough to stun him. Elevander got up, rolled his shoulder and watched for what Squires would do next. Squires stared for a minute and then turned his head, flicked an ear and scoffed his right hoof. Elevander smiled and rub the big roan's neck.
"You know I would never leave you, you great ugly brute." Elevander said. Squires twitched an ear again. Elevander mounted Squires and left to look for his new friends.
After leaving the inn he soon spotted the others at the ramp leading into Nagrand. Both the fire fox and the Drakeadon were dead give aways.
"Sorry if I held everyone up. Squires Oh'Modest Bane here was feeling a bit neglected and we needed to sort that out first. Lead onwards then." Elevander said.
Elevander was a bit surpised and thankful that they were heading into Nagrand. He didn't get quite so lost here as he did in the Lower City. The ability to see landmarks did help.
He watched silently as the others drew in the sight of Nagrand and saw the happiness on their faces. This was home to them, yet the sight of Nagrand always made him sad. The whole world once looked like this but now only this one large island was left. Elevander di wonder why nagrand was spared from the ravages that had destroyed both Netherstorm, Hellfire Peninsula and Shadowmoon Valley. Maybe those spirits the shaman's keep talking about had something to do with it. While the group was lost in reverie Elevander rode up close to Zaruuk and sniffed.
Strange. He doesn't smell like evil. Just like Draenei. Elevander mused to himself. I wonder what Soulfury was going on about?
When they all arrived at the house, Elevander looked at the child with the devilsaur. When none of the others moved to save the child he relised that the two were just playing, but the child did confuse him.
She looks like a Draenei but she has orcish features. How is that... He they watched as the female Draenei and male Orc ran over to embrace the child. Uh... oh... OH! and blushed with the sudden realisation.
Not too long after the group began to break apart as each had personal business to attend to. Elevander was sson torn as to who to follow as he saw Lady Myri leave on her own and the Draenei mage and shaman heading in another direction. Every part of his Paladin training screamed at him that at no time should a lady be unaccompainied, but his orders were to follow the mage. After a brief internal struggle, his orders won out and he nudged Squires to follow the two Draenei. He kept a repectful distance when they arrived at the grave.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
The broken left his former brother-in-law to his musings, intending on returning back to the house. perhaps find himself something to eat, then meet up with the Kurenai? If there was time that is. Thren raised an eyebrow as he saw Elevander mounted on his horse not too far away, although still a respectful distance from Kyali's burial site. The broken approached the elf and grinned.
"You seem to be following either myself or Zar." He said. "Any reason, or can I assume you are in awe of my rugged handsomeness?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Myri had stopped once to used her gift on herself and to wrap her ribs so they were supported, grimacing at the bruises forming under the scars. After that she continued to make her way back to Magna's and sat herself against nearby rock with a sigh and a wince. She looked around and noticed the elf wasn't there and raised an eyebrow. He must have followed after Thren and Zaruuk then. She leaned back against the rock and closed her eyes, waiting for the others to return, Swift curling up by her side.
How come no one warned her about big monsters? She blamed Magna.
Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Elevander was slightly taken back by the Broken's forwardness. It was also the first time he had seen one with another emotion on their face other than noble suffering.
"As much as it pains me to admit I'm following Captain Soulfury's orders, or at least the parts I understood. Soulfury wishes for someone to keep an eye on your friend although I have no idea why." Elevander said, dismounting.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Caverns of Time
Kozri bowed his head respectfully at Rela, switching to draconic and replying, "You are correct, though I remained in this form out of habit. I thank you for your welcome." Formalities. As if he was ever good with those. He added, "I wasn't alone in saving those whelplings. I had several friends with me as well. One of them is here with me," He pointed to Willowe, and finished, "And as for the Infinite flight...How has the war been against them?"
He managed to stifle his shudder, feeling slightly proud of himself for doing so. He also dropped his human disguise, flicking his tail slightly and trying not to look as nervous as he felt. What would they think, a young drake like him asking for help, when his first battle against the Infinite had left him near dead, and then abandoning his Flight?
((Editing for Azu.))
Azunara
Orgrimmar
Azu quietly crept away, keeping herself low to the ground and out of sight, sticking to the shadows. It was incredibly easy to hide in the Cleft of Shadows anyways, as she got nearer, because the lighting was pretty bad. She pricked her ears, trying to hear anyone mention the name of that shadow priest Decay talked about. While she did that, she also looked for signs, anything to indicate where he worked or lived.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
"Sorry Rela." Wait, had the worgen been there? He didn't remember her. Then again, he'd only been paying attention to the dragon. The others must have faded into the background.
Tirrae, Nagrand
Tirrae followed Myri, hissing at the dead Gronn. She'd thrown a few rocks at it, but the creature was too massive to be affected much. At least her Hunter had been able to deal with it.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Threnaad had an idea as to why this Soulfury person would have wanted Zaruuk followed and kept watch over. Thankfully, this paladin seemed to be a little slow on the uptake... The broken had to quickly suppress the impish grin that was want to spread across his face.
"Well, so long as you do not bother him while he is mourning, you and your horse are welcome to stay." The broken nodded. "Make sure to lick his ear once he is done though, it is the last part of the traditional draenei mourning ceremony. I would do it myself, however the spirits call me elsewhere. Fare well, Paladin."
He tried to look serene as he toddled off... Or at least tried not to snigger. Oh he hoped this elf was as gullible as he appeared to be.
He stopped and stood for a few seconds, feeling the wind against his back. A smile graced his face, then he suddenly ran forward, discarding his broken shell of a body and assuming the form of the Ghost Wolf. With a happy howl, he bolted forward, enjoying the freedom of being able to move without stiffness or pain. And the scents! Nagrand never felt more vibrant.
A strange scent graced his nose. He stopped and sniffed, trying to identify it. Blood? Unsure. Turning his lupine head, he loped forward towards a nearby rock outcropping, where the smell seemed to be coming from.
~
Reladormi - Caverns of Time
The dragon's eyes flitted down to the mortals briefly, but otherwise she payed them no heed.
"Your humility is appreciated, but not needed." She rumbled. "You need not share the praise with mortals."
She turned her head to look towards one of the many twisting corridors that was the Caverns of Time, rustling her wings as she thought. "Our war with the Infinite Flight is unchanged. They attack, but we hold our ground. Many are lost, but the timeline remains pure from tampering."
Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Caverns of Time
"I see." He said, slowly. He couldn't help but feel a growing despair. Had he spent too long with the mortals? Was he going soft, or do they think he was? "I understand. I'm glad that everything stays stable, though I mourn for those who fall in its defense. I would help, but the mortals require my help, and that is why I am here. This is too big for me, for us alone, and I came seeking assistance from my brothers and sisters."
