I do have to say, the only 'accidental' shiny I've found was in a Friend Safari, and it was a shiny Gastrodon so donotwant. I was watching a YouTuber who hunts for shinies primarily in safaris and the longest they've spent hunting for one was about 14 hours I think? That's a while, but all their others came within a couple of hours. I knew the chances from the safaris were meant to be good, but woah... I might go activate all the safari Pokemon from the people on my friend list I haven't got yet and see if anything pops up, that's how I got a Gastrodon. x'D

I'm currently shiny Noibat hunting in someone's safari. I can't remember who's bit they've got Fraxure as well. I was all ho-hum wondering and wondering what I'd do if I caught a shiny Fraxure first. I then went and looked up shiny Haxorus. *jawdrop* HAS ANYONE SEEN THAT THING???? ITS GORGEOUS! I was thinking of having Shiny Goodra on my team but HAXORUS OMG.

I believe you get a shiny Haxorus for 'free' in Black/White 2 if you complete the Pokedex? I know you get one somehow, correct me if I'm wrong about how though.

And yeah, you do, Snowy, though I've never done this myself (I want to start with Axew) so I never really bothered with it. But if I'm right, said shiny Haxorus should be stationary, so you can soft reset for one with a good nature.

*Huggles her Shiny Haxorus* I love my black n' red dragon of doom!!! She's got an atk stat of 431...I use a Wish/work up baton pass umbreon to power her up...or a Ninjask with speed boost to power up and baton pass in. Makes for one really hard hitter!

This would be for the Oval Charm, though. Not that I ever spotted any mention of which charm it was about.

My DS is royally fucking up .---. The bottom screen is derping up and I can't even calibrate it half the time. And when I do, it still doesn't work. I try to use the online features but it pulls up the Pokedex instead of trying to connect to internet or open the pop up list via the button beside the connect-to-internet one. When I'm at my home screen I'll click somewhere and it'll click somewhere else instead or super-scroll and nyoom me like forever away from my icons into a sea of folder-less slots.

Had it completely freeze up on me too both in-field and in the PC, the latter forcing me to turn off the system cause B button wouldn't pull me out >.< Won't be able to do -any- trading till I get a new one. It was bought refurbished so Nintendo won't do a thing for me, they refuse to fix or replace refurbished or exchanged goods (well refurbished I know for sure)

The retarded part is that I was using wifi over the weekend perfectly fine. I traded some pokemon for my Darkrai, had a few fun battles after with the person, and wonder traded like an entire box of pokemon. I never went out where the DS could be exposed to the elements (it's been kinda rainy, kinda not), nor do I bring it near sinks and nothing spilled on it. Nor did I drop it cause half the time I'm too lazy to even hold it if I don't need to, so it spend most of its time this weekend sitting on the table on and being actively used or off and closed.

Right. I've activated every Pokemon in every safari (that's 82 people's safaris, took a while, aha) and now I'm gunna farm through this particular one until a shiny shows. I spent ages finding all the Pokemon I need in these safaris so if this 1/500 rule is roughly true, this hopefully shouldn't take long. It's Neilaren's (Shelli) safari so it'll either be a shiny Slugma, Braixen or Ponyta. I'm secretly praying for a Braixen, because I love Braixen a lot, and a female shiny would be luuurvely but I doubt that'll happen so I'll happily settle for male. I wouldn't mind any of these as shinies though really!

this is just my way of procrastinating from my fiance's shiny kabuto hunt... I hate it...

She's Modest nature though so I'm not sure if it'd be wasted on her. I like Milotic a lot, it's my favorite water type, but I've no idea how I could possibly get ahold of one.

That'd be amazing! I could possibly breed it with its hidden ability. I like Marvel Scale though too. Hopefully I have a scale.. Can you even get one in X and Y?
