That'd be amazing! I could possibly breed it with its hidden ability. I like Marvel Scale though too. Hopefully I have a scale.. Can you even get one in X and Y?

Since I know we have a few artists in our midst, I thought I should bring this contest to attention.
It is for Traditional Art only, Monochrome themed (so the picture must be only one color!!! You pick the color)

And the prizes include a number of Pokemon for X/Y

So if any of you are wanting to give it a try, The deadline is May 4th.

So uh... here in the UK we're having an event to pick up a Magmar or Electabuzz from GAME, depending on what game version you have. X get Magmar, Y get Electabuzz. Kinda cool, but seems a little random? Handy I don't have a Magmar yet though. Hopefully there's something even slightly special about these guys, but I for one am just glad the UK's getting some attention for once.

In other news, I bought a Pokemon Center Sylveon plush from a LiveJournal PkmnCollectors community member, they buy from those cool-looking kiosks you people in the USA get, and she arrived today! She's sooooo adorable and soft, so much softer than the Takara Tomy plush! I'm so pleased with her. <3 I love her so much! Now if only these plushies I bought from Japan would arrive soon...

... And this fire-safari shiny hunt is taking longer than I thought... According to my fiance I fell asleep with my 3DS on last night, stuck in battle with a Braixen... @___@

*Throws 3DS out the window* Everyone's getting shinies and here I am, being completely unable to get a shiny Kabuto from eggs or even a freaking safari shiny! I was trying for one ALL NIGHT last night and now 200 REs today and just djksfndjksfndjks... D: Where has my shiny luck gone?! COME BAAAAAAAAAACK.

Yeah, I'm normally kinda lucky... sometimes... but the reason I took a break from the egg hatching was so I could more easily find a shiny and re-convince myself that shinies do exist. x'D But apparently, nope, I'm not allowed to even get a safari shiny. Nearly 300 REs now... I just... x___x; If I go over 500 I swear I'll throw a fit.

Probably a bit late (like two pages late), buuut considering while in a Friend Safari a few weeks ago, I found a Shiny Dragonair and then found a Shiny Gabite about 7 minutes later.

And that's not counting the two other Shinies I'd found over the course of Friend Safari stuff as well. (Although I did hunt for one of them. The other was completely random.)

Wooooo! Got a perfect Pokemon!... now to just hatch the other five for my team... with the right genders. And the right natures. And egg moves, where needed... X_x Really, only one of them is going to be easy, where all I'm looking for is gender.... MAYBE a certain hidden power, if I'm feeling up to it. The other four though ALL have egg moves, one of them two. Two of them I want female where they only have a 12.5% chance to be (and of those two, I would LOVE one to be shiny, but I know that's never happening in a million years).

Sigh.

I was watching the first several episodes of Pokemon XY, I am happy to see that Ash isn't such a noob like he was in B/W...but team rockets gone back to being...sucky.
I am loving seeing all the "old" favorites in the show, so many Kanto pokemon ^^

Still...hatching...still no shiny.
