Echoweb Toxiclaw (green fire spider) in the same cave as the other two Echoweb spiders, is now a beast, level 90, non-elite. Still not sure how to get into the caves, so I've only checked with Eagle Eye.

Great Cliff Hawk (in a nest along northern cliffs in V4W) now seems to be gold instead of white. Unfortunately there's only one, so it's not so easy to check if she spawns in multiple colours. I killed her once and she respawned in the same colour. If anyone sees her in a different colour please post.

I managed to get into the Caverns of Endless Echoes (those blocked fire spider caves in V4W) by kinda, sorta cheating. :)

The cavern is only blocked when you're up close on the ridge. Just off the ridge you can see it in an open phase. All I did was race on my mount and got through before the wall appeared.

I can confirm that the Echoweb Spinners (yellow fire spiders) and Echoweb Cinderfangs (red fire spiders) and Echoweb Toxiclaw (single green fire spider) are all tameable. There are also orange fire spiders called Echoweb Hatchlings that only hatch/spawn when you get close to the spider eggs. They're level 90 and NOT tameable, however.

Oh! Yes. If I click on it, it just tells me how dusty it is, and nothing more. I think it must be for a quest or something.

I very much doubt they'll add hydras in now. Unless it's as a last minute surprise, but even then, they would need testing first and it seems too late for that now.

Also I find it really hard to read your font, I have to highlight it. D: (I use the grey Petopia background cause I find it a lot easier to read white on black than black on white.)

I ran Mogu'shan Palace regular today.

As far as I could tell "Gurthan Quilen <Gurthan Scrapper's Minion>" were never tameable or attackable. Could someone please confirm that? Unless maybe they attack on Heroic. They're the ones that are part of Clan Gurthan and just stand around while you fight. Even at the end when it becomes a brawl I found I couldn't target them.

Also, in the side rooms before the final boss there are a collection of jade quilen statues and some mobs. I couldn't convince my group to kill them, but can the statues come to life? Maybe they're just cosmetic. They are classed as beasts though. I could stealth in and become visible in front of them and they didn't attack me, nor could I attack them. I just wonder if there's any chance they might activate when the other mobs are engaged.

Thanks :)

Testing what? Hydras work perfectly fine as hunter pets right now on live, for those that tamed the ghost hydra. :|

The ghost hydra is actually a crocolisk though. http://wow-petopia.com/look/hydraskinwhiteghost.html

They would probably need to be tested for their abilties. God knows if they'd be bugged right away or what. Bugs are easy things to accidentally make.

Well, it WAS a crocolisk, but it's currently its own family (hydra).

The last we had heard, there was something about the animations that was a problem. Maybe it's something so subtle that the few players with the hydras aren't seeing it. We really don't know what the reasoning is with hydras, unless they just don't fit with the theming of the expansion.

Wow, it *is* a hydra? o.O Okay that's weird. Do you know if it has different abilties then? Like the proper hydra ones that are listed on the site?

Yes, they've been in their own Hydra family with a Bellowing Roar ability since 4.1.
