Fury of the Twilight Clan

S.O.B. - Wet fungus boring place
Great now they were burning the bodies. He was going to be stuck here for a while. there was nothing interesting in this place and only those large mushrooms to eat. Oh well, atleast when they've finished that everyone would be off to kill whatever did this and that would be fun.

Willowe--Timeline
Willowe looked about her, noticing that the others looked just as nervous as she. Right. She was supposed to be the motherly figure around here, it was high time she acted like it. Straightening her shoulders, she padded over to Atto, laying a paw comfortingly on the whelp. "We will find our way through this and be done with it," she said to the group with as much confidence as she could muster. "This is only one aspect of the future, and is thankfully not guaranteed."

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Zangarmarsh
"I know." Thren responded, looking back to the pyre, staring right into the cold, lifeless, white eyes of one of the dead children. He shuddered, then looked away, placing a hand on Myri's shoulder to both steady himself and to try and offer the huntress a little comfort.
With the corpses now stacked together, Zaruuk stepped back, preparing to set the pyre alight. They needed more wood. He moved inside one of the houses, noting how strangely pristine it was in comparison to the carnage outside. Finding some firewood, he grabbed as much as he could in his arms, then started to place it around and on top of the corpses.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmarsh
Myri reached up and took Thren's hand in her own, understanding what the broken was trying to offer. She gave his hand a squeeze before letting hers drop, looking away from the pyre. "I cannot watch this." she muttered, going to where Tirrae was standing at the edge of camp. Myri sat down next to the warpstalker and pulled Tirrae to her in a tight hug.
Swift stayed where he was, ready to help Zaruuk light the pyre if needed. The fox looked at the dead children, a glint of rage in his eyes. He was glad Searsha didn't live here.

Kozri
Timeline
Kozri nodded. "Right. We...we can prevent this. From ever happening. We'll know the stakes, and we'll keep fighting. Let's just...keep going." He said weakly, moving on. It wasn't long before they reached the Gates. Statues that had once stood, tall and noble, were mere piles of rocks, or not there at all. One had been replaced by a huge troll figure, another with a large statue of Deathwing. As opposed to the usual guards, there stood nothing.

Elevander - Zangarmarsh
Once he had finished helping to build the pyre, Elevander turned to Threnaad.
"These are your people, not mine. Do you have some words you would like to say to them?" He said in a quite voice.

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Zangarmarsh
Finally believing he had enough wood to burn the whole pile of corpses, Zaruuk stepped back and nodded to Swift. He took one last look at the marking that had been carved into foreheads of the dead, committing it to memory. It was just about the only clue they had to who did this.
Thren looked helplessly as Myri wandered off, before turning to Elevander.
"Um," he paused to lick his lips. Light, it felt like his brain had just crawled away into a small hole to hide. He couldn't think. Finally, he stepped up the Pyre, still searching for the words to say.
"Blessed Naaru and... and great spirits of all things that exist in this shattered world. Make sure these poor souls find some peace and guide them through the afterlife." He said, his voice shaky and unsure.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmarsh
The fox waited for Thren to finish speaking before walking around the pyre and lighting each pile of wood on fire. Soon enough flames engulfed the dead bodies, returning their spirits to the Light.
Myri listened to Thren and nodded, she didn't think she could have said it much better herself. Once the fire had engulfed the bodies of the dead she stood up again and made her way to the others, telling Tirrae to follow. "So, the sooner we get going, the sooner we can get to Telrador. They need to know about this." she said, a look of determination creeping onto her face.

Kozri
Timeline
Kozri watched the statues, as if he expected things to just...leap out at him. What if the Infinite were here? He didn't think he could tolerate that. He sincerely doubted it, really. He slowly crept along, motioning for the others to stick more to the shadows and try and not draw too much attention to themselves, ducking behind crates.
The Trade District looked abysmal. Buildings, those that hadn't been turned to rubble, were scorched and scratched and breaking down. What had been a fountain no longer flowed water, but blood pooled in it. The Bank and Auction House were used as torture houses and beasts holdings respectively, and the mailboxes were smashed. Bodies lined the streets as several cultists patrolled, and a flaming wolf burned the bodies. All of the cultists had energy infused into them. It looked like there was a multitude of slaves as well, dragged along and begging for mercy. Wingbeats filled the sky, looking up saw several infused gryphons, wyverns, and even worse, a flame infused red dragon, patrolling the sky. So far, the cultists hadn't noticed the group, all too busy in their own plans.

Elevander - Zangarmarsh
Elevander listened to Threnaad's prayer for the dead. He had heard worse. It could have been one of mine. He thought to himself.
Elevander then looked down at the sword still in his hand. Strange he didn't remember that he was still holding it.
Was I holding it when I was carrying those bodies. He thought abstractly as he carefully placed the blade back in it's scabbard.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Karzix and Glix - Durotar
The goblins gawked for a brief moment at the explosion as Decay tried to herd them away, eventually realizing it would probably be best to get away from the shards of agony-causing stones flying through the air. Glix squeaked as a chunk thudded into the ground nearby, immediately blinking forward several feet to get a head start on their escape. Karzix glanced over his shoulder, warily watching for any more of Batlek's eyes. It would certainly be nice if they could get away from an attack on a camp without man-to-man combat... for once.
Vixik - Nagrand/Zangarmarsh
Vixik had continued to follow the path, keeping an eye and ear out for his targets. He stopped for a few minutes by the hunter camp set up on the border, buying a few bullets to replenish the ones he had lost during his brief battle against Senisra. The blasted elf had scattered his ammo everywhere when she had polymorphed him. He continued on, loading his gun as he walked. He paused to stare up at the giant mushrooms looming in the distance, his eyebrows lifting up at the sight. Pondering where exactly the group was headed, he continued on. He split off from the path, wading through the puddles and shallow streams. He frowned down at the spongy ground. It was going to be harder to track here...
He sighed, then stopped. He inhaled deeply, furrowing his brows. He sniffed the air, his nose wrinkling slightly. The breeze carried some kind of faint burning smell with it. He rubbed his chin, recalling the description of a flaming fox. He hefted his gun over his shoulder to keep it farther away from the water and continued on.

Attodormu, Timeline
Attodormu hadn't ever seen Stormwind, but he knew it was a thriving city. This was not thriving. He gaped at it, hiding behind the rubble of what was probably once a mailbox. Maybe. Oh, there was a dead guy too. He stifled a hiss, recoiling. A very dead guy. He was probably very happy he was dead.
Tirrae, Zangermarsh
Tirrae nodded shakily, sticking by Myri's side, glad to be leaving the place. She hardly breathed, unwilling to breathe the scent.

As the flames began to devour the pyre Elevander felt an insistant nudging in his back. S.O.B. looked rather impatient, Elevander was surprised that the horse wasn't tapping a hoof.

Azunara
Durotar
Unlike the others, neither shards nor explosion stopped Azu, and she inched closer, tilting her head and watching the havoc. She grinned wickedly when she caught sight of Senisra, focusing her energy and launching a bolt at the elf. Ha! Stupid elf. Hurting her friends.

Kozri
Timeline
"Fel," Kozri hissed softly, studying the chaos. "We need to find some gryphons, hopefully ones they haven't infused yet. The roost...should be that way, I guess." He said, pointing towards where he last remembered it. Of course, a nearby beast caught their scent and a bear made out of shadow slowly slithered towards them.

Asliasa and Akiralios
Zangarmarsh
Asli gave her head a shake and wiped her eyes. "Whoever did it will pay." She muttered softly.
Akira stepped back from the fire and bowed her head. She said no prayer, she doubted that the Light would even listen to her now. She turned after a moment and headed back to the others.
Iocha and Banet
Timeline
Iocha flinched as she listened to the sounds in what used to be her favorite city. She shivered and wrapped her arms around her stomach, her tail twitching behind her.
Banet wrinkled her nose as she glanced around. She didn't like this change, at all. She grew up in this city!
Helthang remained alter and let out a small noise as he heard something.

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Zangarmarsh
Zaruuk stared into the pyre a few moment's longer, green eyes distant as the embers flickered before him, consuming the bodies. Finally, he turned away and looked over to Magna and Asli.
"Will you be alright?" He asked the two of them, voice still a little distant and dispassionate.
Threnaad nodded to Myri, agreeing completely with her. He raised a hand and changed the wind direction, blowing the stench of the burning bodies away from the group.

Vixik continued to slosh through the marsh, letting out a curse every now and then when one of his boots would get sucked into the mud. He checked the air every now and then to be sure he was heading in the right direction. He let out a frustrated noise as the wind abruptly changed direction, blowing the scent away. Well, that was fantastic. He focused his eyes ahead, trying to walk in a straight line. If only he had a compass...
