Yes, I know this is meant to be for the new mobs introduced in 5.1, but as I didn't get mists until after 5.1, to me, all the pandaria mobs are 5.1 mobs.

After being aggravated beyond aggravated at Patrannache, I decided to give up. But there was something in me that was saying "Just give it one more try."
I quickly asked in general if anyone knew if he was up, and a hunter replied saying that he probably was up. Eventually, they invited me to a group to show me where they find Patrannache, and was looking for the actual place they ended up taming it when I ended up finding something on the ground in the south... as I approached and moused over it, nothing popped up. As I got closer, I noticed it was indeed a claw track, and mousing over it while close up gave the "Barely-Visible Tracks" tooltip. I freaked out. xD I started following them backwards, and because of all the aggressive mobs, I lost track of him. The hunter was helping me locate tracks, and as I went back to find the last one, they shout HERE! I get there, and flare up in front of the hunter, who was slowly walking backwards. Out of no where pops the elusive crane...

I named him Paralyzer, but explaining that is somewhat embarrassing, so let's just say it has personal reasons.

So, I thank Tomoko and am freaking out in excitement, when she asks if I planned on taming any other rares, and I say I'm going to do Purple Portent at 90, and considering Stompy. She then asks if I'd like a flight over there to see if he's up. I was a little skeptical to ask so much, but I said sure. We get there, and after a few minutes, we see a bunch of tracks. Oddly, they're in pairs of 2. One facing one way, the other facing the other. We split up, and began to look for where it was she turned around. We eventually figured it out when one set despawned, and we followed it to where we saw new marks forming. After about 6 failed flares from both of us, I was frustrated and saved my flare. The minute I saw a pawprint appear, I flared. It was Stompy! Unfortunately, I was not fast enough with my mark to make her remain visible to me, so she disappeared, but never fear, Tomoko was here! XD She dropped a flare where she disappeared, I put my mark on her and began to tame.

I aptly named her Tomoko, due to the extreme kindness she showed me. <3 Even if Stompy is usually referred to as a male, I see her as female. xD
All in all, tonight has been great. :3 Purple Portent, here I come when I hit 90!
