I would love the turtle! Would so be my go to pet but like others I dont really care for the ghostly spectral type spirit beasts.. theres a reason why loque and skoll were so camped and still remains the most popular spirit beasts. I mean we have so many normal ghostly pets now the whole spectral thing is kinda.. well not unique even with the.. soul peering creepy eyes and mist stuff. The reason I like the tiger God is because hey its "spectral" without being literally see through. I dont think they need to keep with the literal translation of "spirit beasts". I for one.. would love to see a sha touched spirit beast, with a black aura type.

The beaver though is really cute, would love for it to be a actual pet lol.

But 5.2 isnt even out yet so tons of time for things to be developed. Really hope they do something unique with the spirit porcupine. I still can not unsee those creepy eyes.

I think that the spirit porcupine is charming in his own little way. It's not a creature you would necessarily expect to be a spirit beast, yet he is appropriate for his continent. Yet I do remember the calls for a spirit porcupine. Having said that, I have to agree that I would love a Sha-touched spirit beast too. It would be a nice departure from the transparent spirit skin.

i hope blizzard takes this opportunity to add a spirit dinosaur (Devilsaur,Raptor, or, Dire Horn) as well as the spirit porcupine its about time we saw a reptilian spirit beast!!!

Not going to lie, I'm a tad bit disappointed it's *another* spectral one. As cool as they look, we've had too many now. :/
I'm not a big fan of porcupines either...
The beaver and turtle look pretty cool though! Not sure I'd want them, but they look awesome.

The turtle boss seems ot have alot of animations that doesnt seem to keep to just being a boss: cower, sprint, standwound, drowned,oddly has some mount animations to. Wierd lol

It uses the skeleton for the Dragon Turtle, so it's only natural for it to have the same animations as the Dragon Turtle mounts/pets.

One can guess that all the recent Spirit Beasts are spectral is because the first thing people think when they think of a spirit is something of ghostly quality. Hopefully they'll add in something that's half-way-spectral or completely solid.

I dunno... the beaver does not seem to have enough texture for a full-sized model, it looks more like a battle pet to me instead of a hunter pet (maybe from the achievement of battling all boss pets the dev mentioned in the warcraftpet interview?)
I would sincerely beg the turtle model to be tamable though (either SB or turtle would be fine).
I am also quite disappointed on the porcupine. But then we did have other spectral models Deepwoods Spirit which ended up being just some untamable undead mobs so I'm not convinced for now.

That one's most likely the red panda, from what we've heard. But you're right that the beaver is likely to be some sort of battle pet, since it has an icon in the datamined files.
