AMG it is posted on the forums.

I sorta wrote my 'Dear Blizzard' letter rather snidely as a 'vent'. Never expected someone to post it on the forums ._.;

I hope this doesn't start up a crapfest.

Oh dear.

@ Moonlost

Truly nice to meet other folks that are cross-website (Ha. See what I did there? Cross website... cross faction/server. Shh). But thank you kindly. Appreciate it a lot :)

The BEs were changed, and some folks are STILL complaining about the changes. Though, I guess you cannot make everyone happy, only try and get to a middle ground.

Also, ever on the server Ysera, drop me a line :}
I guess that's because people trolling on the official forums have nothing better to do and complain about anything and everything they can get away with. >.>
Also, I believe the big difference here is that the blood elves kinda didn't need their bulk-up. So more people felt that the change was just caving in. Not that I'm complaining mind you, I'm just fine with how they look now.
Your proposed Worgen face changes are a drastic improvement however you look at. Sure, some of the cheek changes may be made redundant due to hair, but everything else is spot on.

As for the topic (here), there's been 200+ views, 4 comments. All of them, bar one which was kinda off-topic, have ben AMG YES THIS WORKS DO EET. That means that 196+ people have viewed the topic and couldn't find any fault to troll it with. In WoW forum terms, success! Go support it peeps. ;)

As for your invitation to hang out with you on Ysera, I am stupidly shy. Once I get over that, I'd love to. :lol:

Thank you for pointing out where the topic was :)

So far... at least.. so good?

Thank you for the boot of confidence!

EDIT: 220 views, no bad feedback. Yet.... (not countin' my chickens until they're hatched). But also no snide remarks on my actual journal entries. That's always a plus. :)

I just hope people realize that I do admit that these revisions are of my own personal opinion. I have them, just like everyone else! :D

I LOVE them blizzard is just showing them as a WORK IN PROGRESS - they will fiddle with them some more. And if you dont like them then thats you really, think what you want but some people really like them. After all noody is forcing you to play one.

Well spoken!

(Also, the modelhacking community are currently fixing the worgen model themselves, too...)

@Saturo
Do keep us informed when the model-makers get their versions up. I'm highly curious to see their tweaks! :)

@Nevar
The time for change is not when the soup is done and ready to be served.
The time for change is when you're still building it and cooking it.

I'm very aware that these are Works in Progress. In fact, I stated it in bold in the longer entry I made, as well as left the text that states it is as such on the edits I did. However, you don't change a finished product. If there is something wrong, you fix it on the way. As stated multiple times before, this is my personal opinion/view regarding what is wrong with an otherwise seamless model. I like the model. I don't like the muzzle.

You either agree or disagree that it needs tweaking and move on from there. I'm currently of the mindset it does need tweaking.

*has an image of someone holding another person at gunpoint to play a worgen. Cackles maniacally at the thought.*

Really though. Their eyes are glowy. I honestly have no preference. I'll play 'em anyway cause I have names reserved and story ideas planned out for 'em. xD 'Sides, ever since Alpha (My worgen.) I was itching to play one.

At first glance the first thing that entered my mind was Disney! They truly look like something Disney would come up with rather than Blizz. I think that may have been the final design and they know what it looks like so they released it for feedback. This is the first time I think I've ever actually rooted for the QQpaloozza to kick in. The biggest testament to the level of fail is the fact that my wife said she will roll a male if that turns out to be the finished product. I've been trying to get her to roll a male tauren for the last two years and she refuses to play a male toon. As for myself, I may create one for a lark or just to see the first 6 levels that are the worgen storyline but I'll be sticking with my new UD hunter thank you.

I was not directing it at you or to be rude, but rather over the "AMG MAKE EM LOOK BETTER, LIKE MORE MUSCULAR AN I HATE EM AN STUFFS!" comments - I mean they are doing their best and maybe a slight muzzle change would affect it I however dont see a problem with them - I love them. My point is that I hate the rediculous comments. Because like I said you arent being forced to play one.

The only way Blizz would listen if not now to the tweaks made by you and others would be if there was a massive amount of whining and griping during Beta like there was for the BE male. Basically to save time they should ask for peoples input on the matter, especially since it took them a good while to finally get to this stage of the female design.

Sorry, I had to dredge up the poor alpha tauren again for that. >;3

I agree though. The general models are fine. Just the little itty bitty details that thow me off. And those can melt away when you see/play with a moving model. Static images are really crap for capturing the spirit of a model.

Why is everyone ignoring the fact; Work in Progress? I mean several people actually thought the female worgen would be hairless as it is.

I'm just gonna wash my hands of this thread tbh.

No we are not ignoring that jeez this is a thread made to talk about them and for people to give out there thougts on the pics so all the post above are just stateing what they think about it. You seem to think the people posting don't know its a work in progress they do stop acting like they don't please.

To be honest, I hate it, the necks are to thin, the face structure is horrible, I do like the build and feet though. They need more fur.
