How to tame the Burning Boars!

I got him! Friend of mine was finally on at the same time. Took about 15 tries. Trying to think of good name now.

Yep he is up and with this quest already :O))
Took like less than 10 min total:O)
So if someone else need it - just PM me, have no problem to hold this guy as long as needed.

TY.. I was really worried that I wasn't gonna get him before they nerf this. (I have a bad feeling that it will happen, we are finding too many things to tame this way..)

But with the burning boar, and TLPD on my DK, I'm ready for Cata, lol. (Made my Everlook dimensional ripper today too...)

Yeah, the boar is really the only one I like out of these pets - temporary or permanent - and while I said I wouldn't get attached to him.....dang it, I really love this boar. We can only wait and see.

The only thing I don't like about this boar is the fact that the boar's special ability is of no use in most circumstances (I'm BM). I'd love to have Heartburn out on a more regular basis!

Hello , I just like to point out that , if you really want that boar and dont find someone to help, you can create a Trollhunter and lev him to 10. With the racial you can tame the boar easy ( couldnt tame it on my low lev Tauren / Undead because of the lack of haste ) and later you can race-change to worgen or goblin

herm I want to tame it on either my dwarf (level 10) or my orc (80) hunter. Is that possible?

btw the orc name is Crash while the dwarf name is Azlan. I also have an undead hunter name Hansel, Troll named headhunter, and a tauren named Daisy, or my draenei hunter named Strife. I might be on any of these toons.

I tried that unsuccessfully, My troll used a trinket, pot, racial and also eaten haste food and consumed haste elixir prior taming, the boar still died short just a second.

The aura on the boar persists even if the pet is changed in shape, from what I see. As an example, here's what a 'burning boar' with Felblood Taint looks like:



EDIT: Got curious and tested with a mage friend. Yes, they turn into burning sheep/cats/turtles/penguins.

Hello ,I made a screenshot , I tamed the boar with not probs on 2 Trolls already (With the PetAbandon macro ). Only used berserking. Hope you get him too soon
