I hate the feeling of giving up/back dragons but I almost just have this compulsive need to just purge through my lair every so often and cull pairs I haven't been 100% happy with. >_< I've become more tert focused too so I'm trying to do a bit of rearranging and just really figuring out what I want in my dragons.

On a side note, I am very stuck on what to do with these two. I like their potential prim and secon range but ugh those terts (what was I thinking?!) but I'm not sure I want to spend the time/treasure geneing and breed changing them.

I know the feeling of becoming more tertiary focused. I am going through the same thing...taking a closer look at my dragons and making plans to bring in more blue shaded tertiaries...

They're pretty but I don't know if I want to put the treasure into them. =/ I look at them and I'm like, yeah, they're kinda pretty but they're just sitting there and I don't know if I want to do anything with them. Grr what a stinky dilemma to be stuck in. xD

He was my very first spiral ever back when spirals were going for over 100k. xD Sadly though I've been growing disenchanted with him, especially as some of his more recent babies haven't been what I've hoped.

Would you like him back, Nef? It'll have to wait a few days til he's done nesting though. I might see if the man wants him since he used to love Kraken if you don't want him back.

This might be a dumb question but when you preview a pair's possible babies, do you get a shot at those 4 colour combos or any in the range they can produce?

On a side note its almost a mini game to me cycling through the possibilities hehe!

Any range they can produce those previews are just showing you examples of what they can produce.

To add to this you can hit the preview button more than once for more possibilities if your pair is capable of producing them

Another dumb question - how do I get the gem look? Is it random or can i buy something that will make it?

It's a gene called gembond. It's a tertiary gene along with underbelly and circuit.
If you're a relatively new player, please check out the encyclopedia in the game as well as our newbie help thread. You can find all info about the genes in the encyclolpedia.

So not to give Dominance plans away or anything.. But...
Shadow has had a plan to grab Dom next week for the first time in history. Everyone was super excited... But last night the person running it gave up and said "There isn't a shadow any more."
No one seems to be stepping up =\ I'm kinda sad, honestly. I was really hoping we'd grab Dom this time. So many people were excited and now.. blegh. It just all poops out.
I don't know how to run these things so I can't offer myself to do it.. So I really don't know what I can do to save all those people from disappointment :c

That... seems like kind of a poor reason to just drop on everyone.
I think we tried for Dom a month or something before this (I could be wrong) but we didn't manage it.

And with that kind of attitude, we never will. :/
I'd be very willing to step up to lead Dom, but I don't have the time or the money to head it. If they don't put up the effort then how do they possibly think they'll win? Unless they pull out some underhand move -- like Shadows should be known to do -- but ugh

If all goes well and I get this fae, this will be her range with Myriad, my wildclaw! Just have to gene/breed change them a bit, which will be grossly expensive. And goodness. I love Myriad's wings, but why can't ice be a blue?
