sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
time to go get that quest and let it rot in my quest log... until WoD
Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
I wasn't going to tame that hydra, but I'm happy for those who want it!
Also, I doubt the Ooze is tameable (Spirit of Koosu?) but could you check if the Ghost Croc is tameable?

Exciting! Was that a daily for Oracles? I cannot remember myself
I'll be heading back to the basin though - thats the only "crocolisk" i've ever really wanted
** Also I was wondering while in SoO yesterday - if that one Silithid during the Paragons of Klaxxi boss fight would become tameable. I forgot his/her name though

You mean like those in my signature? Those are what people are talking about when they say they want tameable Kunchongs, or Mantid Tanks. And I think you're talking about Kovok. Quite a lot of people hope that those will become tameable, but it's not that likely at this moment. Much to my (and other hunters') chagrin.

Kunchong are essentially the Mantid version of Silithid Colossi and should be added to the tameables imo either under Silithids or as a new thing

Agree with your agreement. Glad to see more people who want to see some Kunchongs in their stables and pet selection!

Oh I've always wanted one since I met Kovok. He's such a sweetie! Killing him really made me cry...but I was happy I got his baby as a pet. I rp it that Jetfyre was gifted Kovok's egg just before he died because, despite his commands to harm her, he did care and was grateful that she raised him(so to speak).Qraljar wrote:Junrei wrote:Agreed!Thanøs wrote:Kunchong are essentially the Mantid version of Silithid Colossi and should be added to the tameables imo either under Silithids or as a new thing

Just so long as they don't make that obnoxious kathump noise all the time. I love the colossi as it is, but that noise gets on my nerves so bad I never ever EVER use them.Junrei wrote:Qraljar wrote:Kunchong are essentially the Mantid version of Silithid Colossi and should be added to the tameables imo either under Silithids or as a new thing
someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket

Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
hah yes lets NOT have another pet that randomly thumps or screams non stop when you go swimming! My silithid was my go to pet for everything for a while but the screams got the best of me and now she is in time out at the stable master's house.
But I too would really like Kunchongs to become pets. The Klaxxi are my favorite faction by far and I was really sad when i learned they had become a boss. I thought "Well at least Kovok made it out" then i got into the raid and saw that he was trash and my heart kind of sank.
I really want to get that battle pet but what I would love to do is go in there is tame him and save him from the raid

Woo, ghost hydra! I hope the croc is tameable too.
I just love seeing those piggies in action, so to speak. They really are adorable looking.
Crossing my fingers for kunchong too, Kovok stole my heart. :'(

Trying to catch up from my phone is proving difficult. So far I'm seeing spirit beasts are still just in speculation mode regarding the wolves and nothing else thus far correct?

Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
I'm one of those people who rushed to 80 only for the Hydra. Brings back memories of several sleepless nights. I've had Timaeus for years now. Tanking old ZG, and many other fateful battles in the past. However, even though I'm kicking myself for not taming the Slime, I'm glad people can share with me my love for Hydras. Besides, I also have Chimaeron to look forward to.Redith wrote:I wonder if anyone who got the Ghost Hydra back then are upset that it is now a freebe

Nope! I'm actually quite happy that it's tamable again. Makes me a LOT less nervous of losing it by accident when ever I play when I'm too tired.Redith wrote:I wonder if anyone who got the Ghost Hydra back then are upset that it is now a freebe
