Well I'm happy to say I was enormously successful in-game today

I ran a lot of dungeons on Taigi, both normal and heroic (ran normal UP a few times 'cause some jerk of a tank ditched as soon as he zoned in and the rest of the group collapsed, getting me stuck with the wait time for another instance. And normal Trial once).

Normally I have terrible luck with drops, but I was actually pretty successful today! I managed to get Gilded Ringmail Hauberk from the UP quests at the door, plus Tear-Linked Gauntlets, Twin-Headed Boots, Trophy Gatherer, and the centerpiece of the gathering day, Uruka's Band of Zeal. While most of them are blues, they're all still upgrades for my otherwise freshly-dinged Taigi, so I'm very pleased.

Plus, I managed to get two of my pets, Jackson (Humar) and Inachus (color-changing ravager) to 80 today too with all those runs

I tamed Mangeclaw, Duskstalker, and Shadowclaw on Aoani last night. I had planned to tame Mangeclaw (now Neige) for a while, but I was intrigued by the large cats... Aoani may have to become a crazy cat lady.

Yeah I'm not even naming them yet... I'm going to wait until they've got their proper looks.

Ambassador on my druid (ok, it's not hard, but it was an up-until-now-neglected milestone), also 25 mounts (in fact, thanks to a buying spree I'm at 47/50), and only one achieve left for the Loremaster meta (admittedly it's Kalimdor and I'm ~400 quests away, but hey! It's closer than it was!)

Got my shaman to 20 today! (Twenty-one, actually).

Not really the toughest level to get to in the world, okay. But...I've never gotten a shammy that far before, and 20 is kinda a milestone due to the mount. Hopefully I can keep going with her, too. After the patch things feel like they've gotten a lot easier in terms of her mechanics, so it doesn't feel like as much of a chore to play.

Shaman at 20 is great, Shaman at 40 is utterly wonderful. Keep at it!

Managed to get all 4 of the elemental boss drops on Silinrul late last night. Very excited. Now I'm actually considering wasting my Justice Points on other epics, because I only need shoulders, waist, hand-held weapon, and a new trinket to get 'epic.'

Months and months ago I began a mission to hit Exalted with the Skyguard. I started from basically nothing, and worked all the way up to Revered. Once I hit Revered my motivation died and I abandoned the idea.

A few days ago, going out of my mind with Cataclysm anticipation and boredom with nothing to do in game, I decided to try working on it again. I did the dailies, killed some Arakkoa...it wasn't too bad, and I figured I could hit Exalted before Cataclysm if I just did my dailies without fail.

Then this morning I was struck with some sort of ravaging need to finish the rep grind. I was so close! To hell with dailies, I'll just kill things!!

And so I did. Since this morning I've been grinding the mobs in Skettis, handing in Shadow Dust, collecting scrolls, summoning the minibosses, and killing Terokk. I was on autopilot, just repeating this cycle for hours. Finally I did it.

Exalted with the Skyguard! And 20 Exalted Reputations too. ^_^

I finally have my adorable baby Nether ray who matches Vorpal, and the mount too of course. I'm so happy and relieved and accomplished feeling, haha! Will edit with screenies after I catch my breath. xD

Very awesome Veph That grind is a pain in the ass, but so worth it later. I almost never see people with Nether Ray mounts.

KYAAAAA, finally got the Needle Encrusted Scorpion!!! I've been trying to get this thing on Silinrul for SO LONG and I've never even seen it drop.

This time it did, and not only did I see it, I got it. Finally, my last green item is gone! Whoo!

On top of that, the group I ran with was very nice. We went on to Pit of Saron afterwards and although I messed up the last fight and initially caused a wipe (forgot to stop DPSing during Brand...it's been a while since I did that fight X_X ) they were very forgiving. I read up on the fight again and we downed him with no problems the second time.

All in all, a successful day
