Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Ambrosia nodded to Batlek and stepped into the pentacle for her infusion.
Indigosa and Kethtaz--Plaguelands
Kethtaz answered first. "You are not slowing her down. In fact, I think your appearance may be doing some good; I was not expecting her to have any control whatsoever. It is hard breaking someone who has denied their powers for so long."
Indi's ear twitched toward Kethtaz. "He is annoying and pretentious," she muttered, sheathing her axe. She forced a smile for Zaruuk. "I will be fine...I think. I have come to terms with what I am, which has been the bulk of my issues. What of you? Things going well for you, Zaruuk?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Decay returned to the others with a grin, quickly looking over the area. "Shame you blood knights hardly get any training whatsoever.", she mentioned, shrugging. "Then again, can't train too much, or you'll be like those nerdy unholy people."

Kethtaz grinned wickedly at Decay. "Is that a challenge?" he questioned the older death knight, rolling his shoulders.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Vixik glanced up as Senisra split off from the group, tugging a little draenei girl along after her. He blinked, watching with some curiosity as the elf dragged her over to where the infusions took place. What was she up to? He gave Lightfur and Cori a sideways glance, noting that they appeared to be wondering the same thing. He couldn't see their faces, though, so he couldn't read their expressions or lips and guess what they were talking about.
Vixik pulled himself up to his feet, the leather of his boots and vest creaking. He glanced around the camp, a mild look of boredom and impatience on his face. The Cultists had said that his brother was with these group of "adventurers", but he had yet to see or hear anything. Vixik took to a slow pace, wandering about the camp in an effort to eavesdrop on Cultist conversations. He needed to learn more about this group his brother was with - how many there were, how close they were to Karzix. Would they notice if he suddenly went missing? Vixik mused, recounting the numbers in the group he had tracked down. If there were more, and it certainly sounded like it, there was a chance that in the heat of battle Karzix's absence would escape their attention.

Elevander looked up from his work. The stall door looked fixed, yet he was no tradesman. SOB wasn't helping much either. After SOB had finally returned to normal, he sulked and did his best to hinder the repairs that he had caused in the first place. Elevander then walked over to the stablekeeper.
"I'm sorry for the trouble Squires has caused. I should have warned the stable boy about him." Elevander said, placing a large number of gold coins into the keepers hand. His money pouch was looking a lot thinner these days.
Elevander walked back into the inn and spotted the two goblins at the bar.
"I wanted to thank you for helping find Squires earlier. I apologise if it turned out to be a waste of time." He said with a slight bow and ordered a snowplum brandy from the bartender.
"Can I offer the two of you anything?" He offered.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Karzix and Glix turned around as Elevander spoke up. Karzix mumbled under his breath at "waste of time". Glix shrugged.
"Eh, well, at least we got to take a look around the city. As for getting us someth -"
"Coffee." Karzix interrupted, flagging down someone to take their order.
"... I'll just have some tea." Glix rolled her eyes. At this rate, Karzix was going to bouncing off of the walls.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Zauuk nodded, glad that this idea of his to come down here hadn't been for nothing. His gaze flicked away briefly as he was asked about his own state. How should he respond to that? He didn't want to admit anything, didn't want to think about it, especially not in front of that mongrel. But then, he gathered that the point of this exercise was to see if she could control her rage. He knew he'd loose control if he learned something similar had happened to the death knight, didn't want that happening in a less controlled environment. Like in Dalaran. He flicked his gaze around the scenery as he tried to decide what to do.
"No." He eventually admitted, voice taking on an emotionless tone. "Senisra managed to capture a few of us. Including me. She..." He trailed off and scowled.

Inaara and Jraak - Mulgore
Inaara managed to keep herself balanced as the nasty night elf kept pulling her around. She looked up to her captor, eyes narrowed, imagining what would happen to her once her Mum found her. She made a squeaking noise as she was grabbed and forced forward. Her eyes widened as she saw the druid being drained. She forced herself not to flinch or to cry out, nor to shut her eyes. She couldn't, she needed to remember this person and their loss. That's what Priestess Phyrala taught her.
Jraak watched Senisra parade herself around with her new pet, then turned to watch all the other cultists following along. Jraak didn't understand why so much importance was being placed on a hatchling on all things. Old flock would have dashed it's brains out by now. Then again, mammals did seem to place more importance on their children. Must be a result of having to carry them inside their bellies for the better part of a year. Made for poor natural selection, Jraak thought. How were the weak supposed to be weeded out if they're never given the chance to defend themselves?
He was shocked out of his pondering when he saw Vixik wandering around. He rattled his beak at him, recognising a green rat. And it was parading around like it owned the place. He jumped off his perch and wandered over to Vixik, trying to decide whether or not it was one of the two that kept hounding him.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Indi bit her lip as a worried look entered her eyes. She closed the gap between her and Zaruuk, pressing herself close to the mage. "What happened?" she asked quietly.

Moony continued to cock his head at the fire fox, more raindrops beginning to patter down. One dripped into his nose and he sneezed, shaking his head. Moony barred his teeth at the sky, which was now filling with clouds, very low to the ground since the "ground" of Dalaran was actually pretty high up off the natural "ground".

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Vixik paused as Jraak approached him, recognizing the arrakoa back when he was trying to comb that elf's hair. The goblin turned to face him and looked the bird-man up and down, eyeing him suspiciously. He wasn't liking the way he was looking at him. "You want somethin', buddy?"

Dalaran
"Cat, my leg's asleep," Kozri complained. Azunara snickered, then tilted her head as she heard the patter of rain drops. "We should go in," She remarked. "And Koz, you know you should sleep. You haven't in days." The rogue shook his head. "I'll be fine." Azunara scowled as he barely managed to stifle his yawn. "Just cause I can't knock you out, doesn't mean I won't ask Faron to help," She warned, tail flicking.
Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Elevander nodded at the bartender and paid for both Karzix and Glix's drinks. He then headed upstairs and turned in for the night.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Swift looked miserably up at the sky. He really didn't want to be stuck out in the rain. The fox looked expectantly at Kozri, as if he was trying to will the rogue to go inside so he could too.
Senisra - Mulgore
The mage had expected the child to throw a fit, and was surprised when Inaara didn't. Still, the girl looked suitably shocked, and satisfied, gave a tug on the rope, leading the girl around the camp as she did her usual thing. Senisra didn't like the way Cori and Lightfur were following her, as if she was about to light the child up on fire or something. It wasn't worth it to her. Especially since the child could be exchanged for a far greater prize.
Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Dalaran
Kozri scowled at Swift. "First, rain won't hurt you. Probably. Second, you'd have to get the cat off first anyways, and third, I'm not moving." He said, and Azunara rolled her eyes. "You're an idiot when you want to be, Koz. And -that's- coming from me."

Zaruuk - Eastern Plaguelands
Zaruuk just stood there as Indi pressed herself to him, eyes staring straight ahead. Switching to the draenic tongue, he went over the details of his encounter in Zangarmarsh; how he was mind controlled to aid in the capture of Magna and Myri, how he watched helplessly as they were tortured, then how Senisra has run herself along him, cutting, burning. His voice was dispassionate, as if he were talking about someone else getting a bandage removed rather than himself being tortured and assaulted. He left out the tale of how they got free, not really wanting to discuss his Man'ari side for the moment.

Inaara and Jraak - Mulgore
Ina fell in behind Sen obediently, trying to pretend to be in shock still from the draining she had just witnessed. If she could get a little closer...
Jraak rattled his beak again, peering around Vixik with his beedy eyes. Why did all these dumb green rats have to look alike anyway?
"Jraak dislike green rats." He snapped in responce.
~
Umbra - Dalaran
Umbra had been trying to ignore the rain, but as it started to rain harder, she was forced to stand up and find someplace dryer to sleep. She padded further up the steps and curled up in front of the doorway to the inn, tucking her nose underneath her tail as she settled down for sleep once more.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Vixik narrowed his eyes, watching Jraak carefully as the arrakoa studied him. His raised his eyebrows slightly at Jraak's response. "... Ah." He simply said, appearing unimpressed. "Good for you, then." He contemplated turning around and leaving the arrakoa to his odd beak clicking and glaring. However, he didn't feel like turning his back on this one and he was rather curious as to why the arrakoa hated goblins so much.
"Do you know anything about the, er, "green rat" that's been attacking with that group of adventurers?" He questioned. "If you want a rat, that would be him."

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Indi's eyes widened as Zaruuk told his story; they flashed red at the mention of what Senisra had done. That mage would pay. She began to wonder how Zaruuk made it out of there in one piece, wondered why he didn't seem to react with her standing close to him. The death knight took a step back, looking Zaruuk up and down. "Something is different about you," she remarked in the draenic tongue. "Something I do not think you are telling me." She sighed, not wanting to push the matter further. "Anyway, we are holding up the rest of the group aren't we? Should we be leaving?" Indi fell silent, unsure of what else to say. She rubbed her hands over her arms nervously, looking away from Zaruuk.

Magna got up, "Wanna head down to the others?"
In his excitement, he forgot that his missing eye was uncovered and most of the group probably didn't know about it yet.

Asli sighed before she gave a small nod and forced herself to get up and dressed. "You may want to find a way to cover up your eye though.."

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Something different about him? He looked away at that, uncomfortable. He had been so determined to come here and see Indi again. And all he did was rattle off what had happened to him while making idle conversation about her training? It was like they weren't the lovers that they were. Hell, the way he was acting, it was like she was a complete stranger. Maybe once they were alone? He could only hope.
"Are you allowed to come back with us?" He asked, looking up at her again.

Jraak - Mulgore
"Two green rats." Jraak mentioned, hopping closer to Vizik to loom over him. "One female, Jraak think. She uses magic, killed Jraak's Flock-brother. Green rat will pay for that. Other one use knives, Jraak think he look like you."
