Bluntly because I am just to spent to write more then the basic...

My Aunt died suddenly of a heart attack last month. Completely unexpected. My Grandma (whom I share a birthday with) passed away on the Dec 6th...my Hubby's Grandmother passed away on the 8th. His other Grandpa isn't doing very well health wise...

I feel...like I am in limbo right now.

I'm finding it harder and harder to stay positive these days.

I've been severely sick for almost two years now. I can't even remember what "normal" feels like anymore. I just want to be me again! I want to play World of Warcraft for more than an hour without my muscles locking up and sending my body into painful, unbearable spasms; To cook my meals without having to sit in a chair due to debilitating fatigue; To be able to drive myself somewhere ... anywhere without forgetting where I am or where I was going.

They tell me I'm the strongest person they know because the truth is, I keep it all inside. I don't let on just how crazy I feel all the time. I've gotten good at hiding it ... afterall, what good does it do anyone to share this misery.

Ironic, isn't it? I will survive but at the cost of not really knowing what I was paying for to begin with.

I hate working retail, especially during Christmas. People are frickin' animals. YOU WATCHED ME CLEAN THE AISLE, THEN PROMPTLY DUMPED THINGS ALL OVER. WERE YOU RAISED BY BABOONS!? My feet hurt from being on them for 8+ hours a day, and it's just redonk busy.

Unpacking sucks balls. My husband didn't unpack anything last swing so it's all up to me (whom also packed everything btw) to sort the house in a week while working so our housesitter isn't sitting a complete mess next week!! I'm also supposed to find time to do the old unit's garden but there's no way....

I had to unfollow my mother on Facebook some time ago because, well let's just say I'm very disappointed with her. Some of you might remember earlier rants I made about her. Anyway I had to look her up again to remind myself of her new boyfriend's name. One of the most recent posts on her page was of her in the local paper describing how "meeting a new man encouraged her to lose weight". Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she was able to remove that flipping barrel but... the title of the article...

"Hubby let me have sex with another man. Now they're pals and I'm marrying him."

I was already heartbroken but this... Excuse me, I'm going to throw up all over the Christmas card I was writing for her.

Pretty minor rant but airlines charging for standard stuff ON TOP of your ticket now. Like i know it's a budget airline but STILL after paying over $800 one way to fly in my own country (Perth -> Sydney) you wanna charge me $5 each to PICK A FREAKIN SEAT?? Its a red eye - I really don't want to snore next to a stranger so ofcourse I want to make sure I'm sitting with my husband...so stooopid. And now i find out Air New Zealand (which is far from a budget airline) CHARGE YOU EXTRA for meal on a 7hr flight! Are you serious? So on top of your ticket + luggage (cause if your going to NZ you aren't taking hand luggage only are you..) now you have to pre pay and pre book a meal! (or fork out for a crappy sandwich on the flight). It's so backwards it makes me head spin...

I hear you. It's hot, humid, pouring rain (we're under a flood advisory), lighting is striking all around, thunder booming, and sirens keep going off. Something caught fire from lightning I guess, since the air is also filled with a smokey smell. Not exactly Christmas weather.

I'm afraid to contact them myself now. They must hate me. I couldn't tell them how sorry I am for the things I said. But I miss them so much.

You know your body is wrecked when you can't open your own presents on Christmas morning. All I could do was lay there and watch my husband open them for me. I am so done with all this cancer bullshit!

At least I managed to cook a yummy dinner for him and his father before my fatigue and muscle spasms kicked it into overdrive. Just being able to manage this small, singular task on a "bad" day makes me so proud.
