Deoxys grew scared, "....ok no backflips...." he flew to the cave entrance, "That was enjoyable" he walked in. He saw Sol and immediately threw a Recover on her.

Delora smiled at him, then glanced at Solara and sighed. So much for the good mood. "She'll be alright, right?"

Zerak gave a slight nod, "Hopefully. She's definitely looked better before."

Inisns was surprised to hear the Kabutops could speak. He squinted, trying to focus... Hadn't he worked with a Kabutops before? He couldn't quite recall.
"It would depend what your task is." He responded. "I wouldn't be much help if you needed me to build some sort of death laser, for example." He mentally kicked himself after he said that, why the hell was he being snarky at a time like this?

Scarab clicked in the back of his throat. Was the scientist going to be difficult at a time like this? "The Dusssk Virusss. It isss not perfected. That issss why I kept you alive. Look at usss," he hissed scornfully, "Weak and sssoft. We gain mental ssstrength but our bodiess are ssstill normal. We need physsical ssstrength to truly become the true Dusssk. Abnormal, mutated ssstrength, that only comess with the hhhelp of a ssscientissst."

I should of just punted that fire dog thing..." rain turned into a mijimaru just for the heck of it and started to run around bored "blehhhhh~ mijimaru's are so boring why am I running around as one again-" she was soon stopped by being punted clear across the cave by victini "kili:1 mijimaru's:0!" rain flew out of the cave kinda surpirzed about the random events

Inins frowned and crossed his arms. "Well that's half the problem. Dusk was never meant to be the end-all solution for creating super powerful pokemon. It was merely a foundation. It does seem odd that you're not seeing any strength enhancements though." He tapped his chin, thinking. "...Your proposal does seem intriging though. I've always been curious as to how far one creature can be pushed, so to speak. I'm assuming I have no choice in the matter if I wish to keep living?"

Scarab almost rolled his eyes, simply giving the Scientist a dry look. "You asssume correctly. You will hhelp uss become physsically elite or you will be thrown to my lieutenant. Hhhowever, assss long asss you are hhelping uss without thought of rebellion, then you will hhave all the ressssourcess you require."

victini looked beside about to go and ask thunder how far the punt went, unfortantly the zerbra wasn't there anymore..would she ever see thunder again? the last time she saw her beloved minion was when she tried to kill her..she moaned sadly her overlarge ears bent agasint her small skull and her little arms wrapped around her bent knees

Inins mind whirled around at a thousand miles per hour. So many possibilities! And this kabutops seemed more than willing to let his kind go along with them. Despite himself, he smiled. "I think I won't be rebelling any time soon. Your proposal is just too intriging.
"I will need the full cooperation of any you wish for me to experiment on. I'll also need some equipment, including a set of glasses. I had a field kit; assuming it wasn't broken in the fall it should still be near my Tropius' boy. But if we want to see any real results I'll need my Lab back. Project Shepherd and her new flock seem to have taken it over. She's fairly loyal to me, but I'm not sure as to how she'd react if your kind showed up. And no infecting me, I need my full mental capabilites if you want to see any usuable results."

"no.." victini gripped her legs harder, why had this been so hard? why did she even miss thunder this much? they had been apart for days now.. shouldn't she be used to it?

Scarab nodded. It was all reasonable. He looked back to the Dusk, switching back to Pokemon language. "Kiren, Sssuren, Buzzard!" While he waited for the two to approach, he turned back to Insins, switching to the human tongue. "You will hhhave your materialsss. Buzzard, a charizard, will be your firssst ssubject." He narrowed his eyes. "Thesse are my Dusssk, and asss their leader I don't trussst you in the leassst. If I sssee sssome ssuccess, thiss may change."

Buzzard heard the call and wandered up to Scarab. "Yes, master Scarab?"
"You are now thiss humansss tessst sssubject." his master ordered calmly. Buzzard blinked, then shrugged. He had no experience with Scientists, so the idea didn't scare him in the least.

Chomp tilted his head, "What's wrong?"

"Just punting that mijimaru reminded me of thunder..last time I saw her she didn't try and hesitate to kill me..normally I would except to get over her but that doesn't seem to be the case I still miss her dealy..if only we weren't on sperate sides.." victini sighed remebering back in isshu before all this happened before the wrathful one, before the infection when thunder was still only a shimama she wished she could go back oh so heavily...

Insins moved over to Buzzard, examining him. He carefully checked all the charizard's limbs, making sure he was healthy. If he weren't, the experiments he had in midn could kill him. Which was to be expected in the future, but he needed to make an impression on this kabutops lest he end up like so many of his colleagues. He noted that Buzzard had no collar. No additional modifications other than Dusk. Good.
"Would you mind indulging my curiousity," He called out to Scarab as he checked over Buzzard. "How is it that you have control over the Dusk? As sloppy work as Project Shepherd turned out to be, they were designed to have control. You on the other hand don't have that, yet all the creatures here seem to at least respect your orders."

Chomp gave Victini a hug, "We'll get Thunder back..."

"You sure?" thunder seemed to just fit in with the dusk so well now...
