Rise of the Shadows!

Seventeen turned her head to glare at the doctor, sparks flying from her body. When she looked at him she could remember the whimpering little pup she had once been, terrified out of her mind... It wasn't often that she wished she had a voice to speak with, body movements and growls served her just fine. That is up until she needed to convey more complex thoughts. She raised her hackles and bared her teeth one more. She made her body language as clear as she could. The Scientest was dangerous. She did not like him one bit.

Insis snatched his glasses up and hastily put them on. The lens was cracked, but not enough that he couldn't see out of them. Considering they had fallen a great distance, he was surprised they had held up as well as they did. He then heard the snarl. He qickly turned to face subject Seventeen, his hand close to his pocket just in case she decided to attack.

[Lupis]

Scarab smiled slightly at the scientist's fear, then spoke to Seventeen. "My own trusst in him iss near none, but the chanccce of him rebelling iss low. I hhave no doubt your memoriesss of hhim are unpleasssant, but ssee thisss as a way to take a weaknesss and turn it into a sstrength. It could be possible to gain conssiderable ssstrength from his knowledge. We will keep hhim alive, but in fear, asss, if you wish, you will be hiss jailor. He will be conducting an experiment to sssee if ssstrengthening the viruss is posssible. If he failss, or if he betrayss uss, he is yourss."

His jailer... Seventeen tested the idea in her mind. It was something she could live with. She nodded at her Alpha, then padded off and sat down aways, staring at the doctor intently.

Venin groaned. "Great, now you've done it. She won't move from his side now you know." She shot her leader an angry glance. The manectric ignored her, focused soley on the scientist. "Well, I dunno about Gamin, but staring at a human while he does science type things will bore me out of my skull. You need anything done Scarab?"

Insins did not like the look Subject Seventeen was giving him... But she didn't seem to be attacking. He moved slowly as to not startle her, reaching for his field kit. "I'm going to need to draw a blood culture." He told the Buzzard as he pulled a hypodermic needle out, making sure the charizard was watchign as he did so.

[Lupis]

Scarab thought about that. So far, everything was going more or less smoothly. He didn't "need" anything. He wanted many things, including... An eye on the inside would be nice. It was ridiculously risky, though, and it didn't work very well from what he had seen. A spy would also be nice. Also risky. Hmm...
Aha.
"I want you and Venin patrolling the bordersss of the Dawn land. If they don't have clear bordersss, make them. Anything that crosssess the border should be chassed back. I don't want the Dawn expanding, and I want them wondering what we're up to."

((Moon, that avatar... It... it... I don't even...))

[Kira]

Theia picked Zap up and floated up to the berries in the tree, smiling. "Pick away!"

Sosa smiled and moved through the tree's, making sure that he had enough room to pass them. "I hope you'll like it."

What was she doing? She needed to get back but...she wasn't helpful. Even without the voices screaming in her head she knew that. None of the others could help her to fix her mind so...so maybe...
Kyuu let out a sigh as she glanced back toward the others, her tail flicking once before she turned away and sniffed, then took off. The Dawn couldn't help, the Sunrise hagleader caused this...maybe the Dusk could help her. Or at least the human they had.

[Lupis]

Summer trotted along behind Sosa, tail waving in anticipation. "I bet I'll love it," she promised, following him through the trees.

[Kira]

"I hope." Sosa stopped after a moment and smiled at her. "Close your eyes and put one of your..hair..thingies..on me. Sorry..I have no idea what those are.."

[Lupis]

Summer laughed, "I don't know what they are either. Whiskers, I guess..." She obeyed, closing her eyes and placing a ponytail-hair-whisker on Sosa's back.

[Kira]

Sosa let out a little laugh. "At least I don't feel so bad not knowing now." He teased lightly, leading her to a nearby field. It was covered in flowers, any kind and colour that could survive in the climate nearby. In the middle was an apple tree, the apples still bright and shiny red. "Alright...open your eyes."

[Lupis]

Summer opened her eyes and, to her personal pride, didn't gasp. She wasn't a gasping kind of person. She was quite amazed, though, at all the colors. Her tail waved in delight and she turned her head this way and that to take it all in. "It's beautiful here! I don't think I've seen another place quite like it." She smiled happily at Sosa, then kept looking around, momentarily examining a blue flower closely. "It's perfect, like nobody else has been here before. When did you find this place?"

[Kira]

Sosa grinned, proud that he had made her so happy. "A few days ago. I told no one about it, I knew that they would come and trample everything. I was waiting to show you before I even mentioned it to anyone.." He flicked his tail and glanced up at the tree. "Would you like an apple?"

[Azunara]

Cro looked somewhat guilty, but he protested, "We want to help. We can all fight, and you guys are outnumbered. You need all the help you can get. Besides, I've been practicing! Watch!" He cheerfully leaped at the cave wall, gouging it with draconic energy before hopping back to his spot. "And if you don't get more help, the future is going to be all scary."

Solara looked up at Soundwave, "Yeah. Demonica and her friends got me, and it only took a fight to get me to this state. I'm useless, now. Before I could fight. But the first battle I get into and I'm a goner. I'll end up hurting more than helping." She sighed bitterly.

[Kira]

Delora sighed as she watched Cro, feeling torn. "I know you want to fight, all of you but..you're so young."
"But mom! I helped in the last war! Please, we can do this!" Ciro let out a whine.
"I don't want any of you hurt!" Delora shivered, unsure.

[Azunara]

Cro added, "But we have all of you to help us. And heal us if we get hurt. Please, mom? And if it really looks bad, we can always escape. But you need help!"

[Kira]

Delora sighed and closed her eyes tight. They were outnumbered, but they were only Children! "Even if I say no you'll end up doing it anyway, wouln't you?"

[Lupis]

Summer looked up at the apples and nodded. "I think I would, thank you. It was really nice of you to keep it secret just for me," she admitted, feeling girly again. She really liked this place. Mostly because Sosa was here. But that was irrelevant.

[Azunara]

Cro nodded determinedly.

[Kira]

Sosa smiled and made his way very carefully to the tree. He charged a Razor Wind and used it to knock two apples from the tree, picking them up carefully and trotting back to her once he had made sure they would stay. "It wasn't a problem..I'm just glad you like it."

Delora sighed as she shook her head. "You will ONLY help if we need it, you Will stay in the rear, or middle if we are surrounded and if we tell you to RUN, you RUN and do NOT look back. Is that understood?"

[Azunara]

Cro brightened. "Yay! Thank you, mommy!" He said, hugging her.

[Kira]

Delora hugged him back with a light sigh. She would regret this.
Ciro nuzzled his mother before he moved over to his unhatched sibling, laying before the egg and staring at it.
