Fury of the Twilight Clan
Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Mulgore
Azunara had kept an eye on Cori, just to be safe, and kept herself in check. Stupid damn cultist was still helping the Cult. She made a mental note to make sure the priest died a horrible death, even if Inaara had wanted her to live. She looked around at the others, trying to keep track of what was happening. Koz was alive, Decay and Glix were still alive, Banet, Magna and Asli and Litle and-where was Karzix? She pricked her ears, tilting her head. Last she had seen him was he had been off to attack something else. He wasn't anywhere close, and none of the bodies looked green and gobliny. She heard a faint series of cursing and shouting, and figured if anywhere was a good start to look, it was there. Not like anywhere or anyone needed her at the moment.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
"You slimy little roach." Vixik shoved Karzix off of him and got to his feet, massaging his neck. He gingerly touched his shoulder and scowled, reaching into his pack and pulling out a healing potion. He downed a large gulp and rolled his shoulder with a wince as the skin and muscle knit itself together again. He looked down at Karzix, the rogue curled into a ball and gripping the shaft of wood sticking out from his side, letting out shallow gasps. Vixik held the vial out, swirling the small amount left inside. "Want some?" He taunted, turning it upside down and pouring it out on the ashy dirt. "'Fraid you're gonna have to lap it up off the ground like the bilge rat you are."
Karzix squeezed his eyes shut and peeled his lips back in a silent snarl, letting out a small squeak as he tried to pull the shaft free. "You need some help with that?" Vixik offered, walking over. He placed his boot down hard on Karzix's shoulder to keep him from squirming away, wrapping his hands around the chunk of wood. Without warning he wrenched it out, twisting it so large splinters would be left behind. He observed the blood-covered piece of wood for a moment before tossing it over his shoulder, tilting his head as he looked down at Karzix's anguished expression. "Oh, sorry. Did that hurt? Should I have counted to three?" He mocked, pricking his ears as the rogue let out a sobbing breath. "Dear gold, you're pathetic." Vixik shook his head in disgust, giving him a hard kick in the stomach before walking over and grabbing his gun.
"So," Vixik sighed, running his hand along the rifle's barrel. "Can you somehow convince me that you deserve having it over and done with right now? 'Cause I'd be more than happy to just leave you here to enjoy a slow death wallowing in the dirt, instead. Either way works for me."

Not that building. Not that one either. Or that one. It had gotten painfully quiet, there was no more shouting or screaming. And there were a lot of ruins. She had a few buildings left, and ducked through one, peering through the window. Nothing. She paused as she heard a cry of pain, and brightened. Well, that was promising! Sort of. Not that cries of pain were a good thing or anything, but...She scowled, checking through what had once been a window. She tilted her head, recognizing Karzix. The other goblin, she didn't know. Judging by what was happening, they weren't friends. She tried to signal to Karzix, letting out a low, quiet hiss and twitching her ears, glad she was, hopefully, out of sight of the other goblin.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Karzix furrowed his brow, his ears pinned to his skull as he clutched at his wound. He could feel warm blood oozing between his fingers and his side throbbed with every heartbeat.
"Well?" Vixik asked impatiently. Karzix slowly opened up his eyes to glare up at him. He took in a breath and spat at him. It missed, but Vixik's eyes darkened regardless. Karzix glowered at him as he loaded his gun, that is until a flash of purple caught his eye. He blinked, squinting slightly and pricking his ears. ... Azu?
Vixik noticed that he was staring off at something and he turned around, narrowing his eyes. Placing his finger over the trigger of his gun he stepped forward, studying the gap in the wall that had been a window. "What's this?" He called in a mocking voice. "You got backup here, Karzix?" He let out a harsh laugh, swiveling his gun to point at the other goblin. "Come out or I'll shoot him." He said, almost impassively.

Azunara scowled. She wasn't worried about the other goblin at all, though she was worried for Karzix. With a shrug, she moved within Vixik's vision, tail flicking. "Hi! If you ask me, you aren't being exactly fair or anything. He doesn't have a fighting chance." She stated, giving Vixik a wide grin.

The mage had just enough time to conjure up a shield before the elemental's attack hit. Snarling, she sent several weak frostbolts at the thing, figuring it would hurt a lot more than any fire attack she had.(molton armor) She was thrown of balance as Serenity slammed into her face, making her feel weak and barely able to breath. Senisra cursed and attempted to polymorph the sporebat.

Little Mouse was getting ready for another shot when she suddenly noticed a lighting ball hurling towards her. With a gasp, she quickly leaped out of the way, the lightning ball missing ((Disengage)). She'd been a bit late though, so the electric ball had scraped along her arm, leaving a singed mark. Little Mouse ignored the pain, and instead took one of her arrows covered in a different kind of venom and fired it at the arakkoa ((Widow Venom))
((Also, random note, I wouldn't expect the Widow Venom arrow to hurt much if it hit. It just reduces healing. ;P))

Serenity baa'd as she fell to the ground with a thump, looking up at Senisra with baleful eyes.

Senisra - Mulgore
Hacking and coughing, the mage blinked away from the spores that still lingered from Serenity's attack. She swigged back a mana potion after sending another frostbolt at Bunsen before spotting Thren again. She glared at the shaman and blinked towards him once more, trying to get behind the broken and grab his arms in order fling him between herself and the elemental.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Vixik blinked in surprise at Azunara, then looked at Karzix. He had managed to prop himself up on one of his forearms, a mixture of relief and apprehension on his face. Vixik looked back at Azu with disbelief. "She's an elf. A night elf! A night elf druid!" Vixik burst out laughing. "Oh, good gold, Karzix, how did you manage that? A night elf comin' to the rescue of a goblin. How many times is that going to ever happen?" Vixik chuckled a little more, pricking his ears as Azu spoke.
"Hehe. You sure got a lot of support, don't ya, 'Zix?" He shook his head, still grinning. "Doesn't have a fighting chance, she says. I'll say, look at him!" He gestured at Karzix and rolled his eyes. "And kid, I could care less about bein' fair to him." He paused to study Azu for a moment, wondering if her odd, ghostly appearance would have any effect on bullets. "This guy right here? He don't deserve nothin' after what he's done, and that includes fairness. Got it? So you want somethin', kitty, or can you let me continue on with my business?" His almost jovial voice quickly turned venomous as he finished speaking and he fixed Azu with a cold stare.

Azunara tilted her head. "No, I think I'll stay for a while. Face it. I know, and you know, that you can't hurt me. More importantly, what you don't know is can I hurt you? Maybe, because I'm just a ghost, I can't do a thing to you. Or, maybe I can make you regret you hurt my friend." She matched Vixik's cheerful tone with her own, adding, "And you can either let him and I go, or we can find out if I can hurt you or not." She looked completely confident, not scared one bit. A spell caster wasn't likely to have a gun, so she was positive this goblin couldn't hurt her at all.

Vixik leaned back, eyeing Azu up and down. "I think I'll take my chances." He leaned back, idly watching her. "And just because you say I can't hurt you doesn't mean I can't make you regret trying to attack me." He said calmly. A smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. He glanced back at Karzix, raising an eyebrow. "'Friend', huh? Got another one wrapped around your finger, Karzix?" He sighed and shook his head. Karzix gave Vixik a vaguely confused look as he turned back to face Azu. "Man, kid. I feel sorry for you. You don't have any idea, do you?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Bunsen flinched at each icebolt, but was strengthened as Threnaad healed him. He continued to throw bolts of fire, up until the horrible mage blinked up behind the broken. Bunsen watched carefully, waiting for the right opportunity to attack again.
Thren let out a surprised gasp as the Mage blinked behind him, then moved to place him in a hold. He moved to try and force his way out of the hold, or at least twist the mage so that Bunsen would have a clearer shot at her.

Jraak - Mulgore
Jraak snapped his beak as he dodges this new arrow, it's point only nicking his skin. He extended his claw and fired a blast of fire at Little, before turning to glare at Banet, then Glix. His attention was divided by three rats. Damn it. He placed down a totem that called fourth a fire elemental, ordering it to deal with the Night Elf, then moved towards Glix intently. ((Flame Shock and Fire Elemental Totem))

Azunara bristled, watching Vixik carefully. "What do you mean, I don't have any idea?" She asked slowly. "If you think whatever you'll say will frighten or upset me, you're going to very disappointed." That was sort of what Decay would do, right? Bluff? Well, no. Decay would probably just stab Vixik. But that wasn't an option at the moment.

Senisra simply laughed and tightened her hold on the struggling shaman, though it took a lot of effort. She leaned in to whisper in the shaman's ear "Let's see if you can scream as loudly as your Myri did shall we?" The mage's hands glowed a bright orange in an attempt to burn the shaman to a husk.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Glix's eyes widened in alarm as Jraak began to approach her. She took a step back, holding out her palms and blasting out a freezing wind toward the arrakoa, trying to freeze him in his tracks ((Cone of Cold with Improved Cone of Cold)). Her eyes flicked from side to side, looking at the attacks Jraak had sent out at the others. She swallowed and looked back at Jraak, her ears swiveling backwards as her mind leaped to everything the arrakoa could be planning to do to her.
Vixik and Karzix - Bloodhoof
Vixik gave the druid a look of pity, mentally chuckling underneath the mask. "Aw, kid. I was afraid of this." He shook his head, casting Karzix an accusing glance before looking back at the druid. "That goblin?" He said in a hushed voice. "He's a con man like no other. A cheater; a rotten, pathetic thief. I should know - he's my little brother." Vixik let out a bitter laugh. "I've fed and taken care of him since he was a kid. One day I wake up, and everything is gone. My gold, everything. He just took off to the streets. I tried chasin' after him, believe me. But somehow? The little roach got away." He paused and looked down, gritting his teeth.
"What?!" Karzix exploded. "That's a load o' bullsh-"
"Shut up!" Vixik snarled, straightening. "Who is it this time, Karzix? That goblin girl I saw in the crowd of fighters? This druid here? Someone else? You make me sick! Make people like this girl here think you're a good guy and then you stab 'em in the back when they least expect it." He stepped in front of Karzix, turning his back to Azu. He gave Karzix a wicked grin and a wink before plastering his hurt and enraged expression back on. "Lemme tell you, 'Zix - you've had this comin' for a long time." He paused, catching a glitter of something around Karzix's neck. He grabbed at it, snapping it off and holding it up. It was the little panther-shaped gem Myri had given him back in Dun Morogh. He held it out for Azu to see.
"See this?" Vixik said bitterly. "Any idea who this could've belonged to? 'Cause he sure wouldn't be able to afford this thing. Probably stole it off of someone or made them think he deserved it somehow." Ooh, this little thing would sell nicely. How did Karzix get it anyway?
Vixik jumped as Saturo suddenly appeared. He blinked. "What? Er, sure. You mind? I'm kinda busy here." He waved her away. Ergh. Gnomes.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Thren merely hissed as Sen started to burn him, the earth shield around him still healing most of the damage. But that wouldn't last forever, already he could sense the earthen spirits starting to fade. And with his arms pinned back as they were, he was unable to summon more. He looked up to Bunsen.
"Sunshine." He simply told it. Bunsen glared at Sen, then moved away, searching for any signs of Myri. Seeing her, it aimed a small fire ball at the ground nearby to get her attention.

Jraak - Mulgore
Jraak screeched as he was frozen in his tracks, but that didn't matter. The little green rat was still within striking distance. He called the elements to him with a shrill cry. Small arcs of lightning began to dance around his feathered body, humming and filling the air with an ozone smell. He then pointed a claw to Glix, unleashing a crackling ball of lightning at her. ((Elemental Mastery and Lightning Bolt))

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Trying her best not to look afraid, Glix watched, her ears twitching at the slowly building hum. She took a step back as the lightning flickered across Jraak's feathers, her eyes widening. The mage let out a squeak as the lightning bolt crashed into her shield, shattering it and sending her to the ground. She grunted as her back slammed into the rubble lying scattered across the ground, wincing at the sharp pain caused by the stones digging into her skin. Looking up, she tried to further freeze the arrakoa with an icy blast ((Deep Freeze)).
Vixik and Karzix - Bloodhoof
Vixik tilted his head at the gnome, looking her carefully up and down. "...Go ahead. She'll be outta my hair, then." He said gruffly.
Karzix tried to get up as Vixik was distracted, pushing himself up on his forearms. He winced and let out a hiss as the pain worsened with the movement, placing his hand back over his side. Feeling lightheaded, he pricked his ears and tried to figure out what was going on outside. His ears folded back as he heard more arrakoa cries. He shifted his gaze to Azu, looking panicked.
