BEST PET fpr RAIDS and for PVP

hello


i've read a lot about pets, and a lot of diferent opinions

so I'll ask here, if someone can explain his opinion i'll be grateful

first:
I want a pet for raid, i supose that has to be a pet with a lot of critical atacks and a lot of dps... personally i have a cat (love it xD) but it seems that the best pet is the wolf...or raptor. I didn't get it yet..


second:
I need a pet for pvp, my talent tree is Marksmanship, i'm already 80. so i supose I need a pet who stops my enemies, like a crab... but some people says that spiders do a lot of damage and also stops enemies...

i hope that people with experiencie can help me, i'm really noob in wow yet and need a bit of help

We've had many, many topics recently on this sort of subject, so if you were to search or do some browsing in the Pet forum I'm sure you could find all the answers that we've said in the past.

My suggestions for PvE is Wolf and Raptor.
My suggestions for PvP is Ravager and Wind Serpent. Crabs are good too. Spiders are a bit too situational for me. Their snare has too long a cooldown to really work for me.

And I agree with Veph. You could easily find this info elsewhere.

Yeah we do have alot, but ill just say it now lol. Right know wolfs are considered the best raid pets, if your BM Devilsaurs do great damage but some people complain about there size. Raptors are great too but there savage rend has a 1 min cooldown and takes a bit more to manage. Wasps are pretty good as well.

Pvp, anything that slows, stops, stops spell casts, are great. I used to use a spider and he was great, right know i use a chimera for there froststorm breath wich slows the person down, plus they look cool! ^_^ (in my opinion lol) Hyenas tendon rip slows people down, and i think nether rays stop spell casting.

i do looked but the topics has a lot of diferent opinion i was searching for the ultimate pet or something xD and most says this exotic et is the bes, that's why i asked too, because i have MM so i was asking for common pets


so if i understand for raid the best option is a WOLF (how much the wolves are better than cats?)
and for pvp is ravange...

so i confused again because i've read in other topics that wind serpent is the best por raids xD

The thing is, there is no ultimate pet.

And Wind Serpents were the top back in BC. Not anymore.
DPS difference between a Cat and a Wolf = Minimal. You go with the prettier one.

For pve i'm using a cat or wolf.
In pvp i use a bat for the stun.
I know the cd from bat stun is 20sec longer then the stun from ravagers but i just dont like ravagers.
But the bat can cast there stun from a range ravagers need to be in melee range.
And another (little)benefit:bat are big,so when you use fd some ppl have trouble to target me again.
Whit bm specc, chimaeras are nice to for the slow effect.
