Good news everyone!

I fixed the poison slime pipes!!!
No wait, that wasn't it....

Recently I got my 4 set bonus on my resto druid's T10 :headbang:
check out them sexy set bonuses --> http://www.wowhead.com/?itemset=887

Now how will this affect hunterpets? That 2% chance to hop to a new target... It can hop to pets as well! Now say a druid has rejuvenation up on 10 targets, well my math is really bad... but thats about a 100% chance it will hop to a new target. In a 10 man that target will most likely be a pet (provided it is missing some health it wont jump unless its needed) Your still gonna need a mend pet when things get hairy, but this way even if the healers leave pets off their unitframes, its still getting some love! Considering most hunters are lucky if their pet gets a buff let alone heals during heavy AOE...

Lil, What does beast lore say about its armor rating?
...
ITS OVER 9000!!!!

I have 2 schools of thought on healing hunter pets. One one hand when I play my hunter, I never expect any healer to keep him healed. That's my job as a hunter. On the other hand, when I'm healing on my druid, I have Healbot set up to include hunter pets. I try to supplement the hunter's mend pet, but the tank or group has precident. I never get upset if a healer doesn't heal my pet. I know how hard it is to keep track of everyone as it is. As for buffs, my guild always buffs all pets, as I do when giving out MoTW.

Now, that being said, awesome gear. Obediah (my druid) is jealous.

This is exactly the way I see things. When I'm on my hunters, I keep track of my pets and mend as needed. When I heal, I'll show the pets some love if I can spare the GCD.

As for buffs, btw, it's fine and dandy that they get general buffs like Mark, but they won't get pally buffs unless the pallies specifically buff them. We once spent like 5 minutes waiting awkwardly while our RL (a BM hunter) yelled at the pallies because they just always forgot the pets. Every pull was like, "Wait, don't pull yet. Pallies, buff the pets. Pallies. Buff the pets. GUYS. Buff. The. Pets!" ... The buffs make a huge difference for the pet classes' dps, so it's ridiculous not to. Plus, he's BM, so you know... pet nut and all. ;)

Heh, I agree. I have never played a healer, but I don't expect healers to heal my pets unless they can spare the skills and the mana to do so. Tank is first priority, players second, pets last. I try to take care of my pets as best as I can.

Plus, I always thank healers when they DO heal my pets, just to let them know the thought was appreciated :)
