Kara ghost dogs
Me and a guildmate 2-manned Kara tonight. Went down to the servants quarters and found a side room full of dogs. Some of them were phased and looked ghostly, I wondered if they were tameable. I beast lore'd 'em, and they were. So I pulled one of the phased hounds away to tame, while my guildmate pulled the others in the group away from me. After clearing a couple more of the small groups I trapped the last plaguehound, tamed the shadowhound next to it, then we finished clearing the room. Once the room was clear, we compared the two tamed dogs, just to see if they had kept their ghostly look post-tame. The phased hound not so much, but the shadowhound kept most of it's smoky ghostly look. I ended up releasing the phased hound and keeping the shadowhound, which I've named Undertaker.

I'm not sure whether to say congratulations or that it's been known that they're tamable. >_>

Re: Kara ghost dogs
-lolz- Just tamed 'em as an experiment to see if they'd keep their cool ghosty look as tonight was the first time I've run Kara with someone who is amused by my 'crazed hunter desire to tame everything that looks interesting' as my guildies put it. All the previous runs through there on my hunter have been with groups that just wanted to kill everything especially any mob the hunter asks to tame. Also think it's awesome that the shadowhound kept most of it's smoky see-through look after the tame.

That's why I said I wasn't sure what to say. XD They're listed on the main Petopia website as being tamable and retaining their ghostliness. But congratulations nonetheless.

Re: Kara ghost dogs
Yeah. They were reported on the beta when dark hounds first became tamable. But they are cool

Re: Kara ghost dogs
If the models weren't so flawed I'd totally tame one on my undead hunter.

Re: Kara ghost dogs
The only change I noticed in my phase hound was the size when I tamed him. His ghostly look is the same.
Mine is my favorite pet and I use him constantly.
