omg omg omgosh!! I cant believe it! I just left Saon cause I was annoyed pvping in surv spec with her (shes bm darn it! but I hate playing surv in pvp with her considering I miss my jadefang and my intimidation lol) so I was in the bg and just said screw it and /afkd out, by the way im playing surv spec with her cause.. I dont wanna miss the chance at aeonaxx.. my dps is not the best at all with BM spec.. and surv is just easier on Aeonaxx (really easy lol) switch to Sasrei flew not even 20 secs to the Nw1 spot and npcscanner blares at me and there he was!! Freak out time folks! and man do you have to be really close to click on him I was like mount mount mount come on mount! finally I did and it was an easy kill.. I think the whelps got me down to 98% health before I killed him I am soooooo happy!!!

I ended up finding him in about 2-3 days of camping off and on on my death knight. >_> Got him the night I used the luck charm sig. I wish you the best of luck in your hunt for him!

Yah I am actually surprised ive heard him spawn as much as he has. Its apparently a 6-24 hour respawn that shares the with little.. bat.. who spawns for.. 4 -9 secs then despawns unlike vyra who stays there for quite awhile.

Yeah, I expected a really long camp and to see the bat more than Aeo. I didn't see the bat once, and thankfully I never had any other competition around which made the camp a lot easier.

Good luck on Aeonaxx lol i find it hilarious that a bat spawns in his flight path.. its just full of so much win or it could just be bordem ringing in my head LOL

Good luck! As far as the Aeonaxx circuit is aware, the 4-9 secs on the bat is a glitch or somehow unintended but the rarity of Aeonaxx sort of disguises it from any GM confirmation.

I was lucky with my Aeonaxx. A lot of people tend to lurk around SC entrance, but personally I feel the more northern spawn point is much better. (It's where I got mine - no one was there and not many people know of it; I had time to fly from SC entrance to Aeonaxx cause I was the only one who knew it was an option!)

Yeah, I hung out mostly by SC, but would fly around every so often. He ended up spawning near the SC entrance for me, but lower than the height of the entrance portal (which is how high wowhead says he flies) and he was out by that outer ring of pillars.

Yep, he def seems to spawn further out than closer in (in my experience/knowledge) however you can see him long before the scan goes off Huge sight range.

I did find Blood seeker on Sasrei this morning (man do I wish it was Aeonaxx) shows up as a yellow dot and for the life of me couldn't find it until it despawned. So I guess Sasrei will be just chilling for awhile.

Oddly enough I was really excited to see him spawn hahaha.. saw this yellow dot and scrolled over it and it said Blood seeker so it was neat but still could have been Aeonaxx haha

I do on Saon but I guess not Sasrei at that time. So I did think it was odd to see a yellow dot in the middle of nowhere. That bat .. despawns way to fast

A question or two please.....85 hunter...can I use ranged damage or is it still melee?
MM or BM spec....does it matter?
Do I still need to look at his tail?

Your mounted on him but you use range so you arent meleeing like it used to be (thank God lol)
depending on your gear and what spec you are better in, people have killed him in BM spec but since I am do better dps in surv
I will be going surv just incase, my main dps in BM is my rex, unfortunately he cant fly with me so the more damage you can do is better
as you can see from my SS, you can look straight at the head and still dps, no longer do you have to look at the tail
whelps come every so often, they look like mini drakes, and easy to kill, they are the only damage to you so make sure to take them out
