A Loque'nahak Tale

Loque'nahak - March 20th 2011
Friday night I came home and started camping, circling around and everything. There I didn't see him anywhere, I just kept circling... Then out of no where I am flying over to get to the ape spawns and I freak out because the NPCscan tracker goes off. It was hilarious... I got so excited, but it was just Aotona. Well I got Aotona as a pet now too, beautiful bird. Still not satisfied I decided to continue my search. I log out, clear my cache and get back in game. After I get back I start the hunt again, it is about 8PM now and still no luck. I camped until I was about to pass out, perhaps around 10 to 11PM.

I woke up the next morning at 6 am and started the hunt again. At around 10AM I took a break to get some breakfast then came back around 10:30AM. I hit the path once more and started doing my rotations. I was flying back across toward the apes and the alarm goes off AGAIN! And this time it is Loque!!!!!!!!!!OMG OMG OMG right!?!??!? No... haha, it was a hunter near the Oracles camp that had Loque out lol. It was hilarious. I freaked. I thought I had a heart attack. Anyway that is how I met Laurielle. She had just gotten Loque last week. She said she would change her pet and she and I hit it off and she jumped right in to help me. It was great! We just kept chatting away... I would track people who came and went into the area, watch for new hunters, give them name and rank and she would keep an eye out for them.

We had this for about 2 hours until BAM my alarm goes off again! This time it was King Krush! I know she wanted him so I told her to "KK IS UP, COME TO ME!" And she came over and tamed him like a pro. I still had my hunter training wheels on at that time and did a horrible job at managing my hate to help her lol. It was just silly. (I can play my hunter very well now). I had been keeping Laur posted with the competition and at an odd moment she said, don't freak out but there is another hunter coming into the zone. I didn't know what to say, I didn't understand the statement, I just responded with "okay >.>" She then filled me in that her friend Ikaashaa was on the way to help us farm and look for Aotona. After I helped her get KK she told her friend Ika or Ikashaa what happened. See Laur met Ika the same way I met Laur. Hehe and then Ika came out and started helping as well. At one point during the Laur's lappy needed to cool down so she logged off and Ika needed some food. I remained. A couple more hours went by, it was quiet. Between Laur and Ika leaving Whitewolf came out on his PLD and started helping me camp. We camped for many hours, I am so happy he helped and he had a lot of patience too to.

Time went by and WW and I were just trying to amuse ourselves. I took the bottom spawns he had the two north spawns. It was fun but tedious... Time went on and on and then pop... Laur logged back in, and she said she would help for a little while, then immediately after Ika logged on too and we were back to 4 people camping... It was extremely late, no more Rares had spawned and we were all getting tired. Ika had to log she just was very tired. Then WW logged and it was just Laur and I. We were sitting there waiting for the spawn I was checking on the NW spot every now and then but keeping South for the most part. On my final rotation I had just come from the SE spots and then my alarm went off and it was LOQUE!!!! I landed and set a trap.. A Dreadsaber aggroed me and fell into the trap instead of Loque! NOOOOOOOO.... I sat there and just decided to hit the charm button, I had nothing to lose, I prayed I wouldn't need heals. I didn't. The charm was very short and then Loque was mine. After I was done my heart was pounding in my ears, I couldn't hear anything but the sheer internal buzz, my head was light my hands were shaky apparently I was screaming, I tried to type but that didn't work well! YAY!

I don't remember how many times I thanked Laur that night, but I was high on success and it was great. So rewarding! I am soo happy.

After Story
So on Sunday Ika got on and we got her the Ghost Saber, she is spawned from little statues up at the ruins near Auberdine. Fun little cat, good collector's item. We have a good team of Rare hunters now and I cannot wait to camp something else.

Gondria - March 23 2011
Well... this was very unexpected.

I got up early to mine this morning, found out that Cobalt is best found in Zul'Drak and decided to go check it out, maybe find Gondira or another Rare for Frostbitten. Hehe I am not doing bad on that either. Though at one point I will have to kill Loque and Gondria, and it will pain me to do so... Anyway so I am using my NPCScan and following the colored spawn points it gives, for quite a while...

I remembered then that I was sure Gondria spawned in other locations... So I checked and I was camping after some other NM, I cleared my cache and went for one last rotation before I left. The first point I went to BAM! Spawn! Hahahaha. What glorious luck. I first looked to see if Laur or Ika were on and neither of them were so I claimed Gondria for myself. A nice addition but Loque is still my favorite.

Also this picture really doesn't capture Gondria's beauty, there is a lot of stuff missing.

Skoll - April 8th 2011
After those last two successes I would get up every morning and check Skoll's spawn points, got him Friday by checking the spots after I got home. Yay! Now named Sparky...

Arcturis... To Be Continued
The saga continues, currently being annoyed by an Undead Hunter who flies around like a fly and always goes into PVP to try to distract me. Need a PVP swatter or something lol. Idm competition or I wouldn't be doing this, it would probably make it easier if we could talk. Ohhh if only he knew my focus >.> Met a really nice Human hunter and we were gabbing about pets, companions and mounts for a couple hours last night. Nice guy. Would be his first spirit pet.

Sure thing! My huntar...ers (hehe) name is Altana! I will add you when I get on this evening. I know, what you mean about running out of hunters, not many peeps on lately, or they already have them. I don't really play other classes, I have some but I prefer hunter. ^^

I wish my luck would roll over to Arcturis... going for an all out camp this weekend.

I camped Loque for weeks wanting him SOOO badly. But when I got him, I already had my Skoll lol. I leveled my Loque but I never use him really. Hell, he still doesn't even have a name yet.

Yesterday Maaru_2 and I finally got to chit chatting and she checked on The Razza for me and held him while I jumped across all 3 continents! Thank you! Good thing no one else was around. Yay! After chatting some more and confessing that I haven't truly been following that gut feeling (regarding the camping of rares and that little voice that says "GO CHECK NOW!") when it came to Arcturis I have been lazy. I decided the next time I get that sensation I would go check... well...

Good news! I woke up this morning at 3:25AM and Arcturis was up and I tamed him! However, as a side effect I am rather sleepy this morning -_- But yay!

And back, added a bit more to the story above, soothed my morning woes by having some Starbucks... now time to get some work done.
