A little game I thought up (Unsure if it goes here, it may.)

Alright, I've got no name for this game but here how it'll work:

You pick a currently untameable beast, anything from giraffes and zhevras to stags and seals, then give it:

((A name.
A spec.
A pet ability.
(Opt) An extra ability. (I.E. "Play", "trick", and such. Prowl/spirit walk aswell, but do be more creative in naming eh? :P)
Exotic: Yes or No?
And lastly, pretend you HAVE tamed one of these, and make a small story as to how you came across it. About one paragraph is good, but feel free to write as much as you like.))

A few rules: I'd like to try and have everyone make a different beast sheet, so it'll be first come first serve on that.

If you choose Hydras: Ignore current placement for them, please, act as if the new talent placement/family/ability didn't exist.

Feel free to respond to this however you like, suggestions welcome, as is criticism, and you don't have to play to be taken into consideration as far as opinions and such go.

Have fun with this, I'll make mine now :P

Seal:

Name: Aarfen.

Spec: Tenacity

Pet Ability: Waterspout (The seal spit's water at the target, blinding them for 3 seconds.)

Extra ability: Have Fish Will Play. (The seal becomes playful, barking happily, clapping it's flippers, and standing on it's front flippers. Ability requires one Fish of any type to work, Fish consumed on use of this ability. The seal will animate eating the fish.)

Exotic: No

((A Recount of My Meeting With Aarfen:

I had been walking along the shoreline for weeks, terribly bored with myself. I was recently stranded on this island, not terribly far off the coast, yet too much for myself to swim back. As far as I was aware, I was the only "civilised" being on this island. Joy. At the very least, food was plentiful. As was fresh water. Oh, and there were seals. They swam near the island, all around it, but they never came close to me. I watched them from afar. Such adorable creatures...

As said, they didn't come close to ME. The did, however, use this island. As did the native tigers. And the raptors. And the RAVAGERS. Yes, Ravagers. Why THEY were on this damned island I'll never know... Either way, I was quite glad I was a trained hunter of the Horde, for my bow and trapping knowledge are what saved me numerous times since my arrival...

It was my 6th week on this isle. I think. Not terribly certain, just feels "six week"y, ya know? Anyway, I was walking the coastline again, and I spotted one of the seals from this island. Surrounded by ravagers. So I, being the good sameritan and all around nice guy I am, decide to save it. It was a nice black color, it's mane a snowy white. It looked somewhat young, though not a pup.

My bow found it's way to my hand, and three arrows found their way into the ravagers bodies, dropping them. Yum, dinner. the seal looked at me... it seemed frightened that I would go after it next. I didn't. I instead pulled from my puch a fish I had caught today, wrapped in a large leaf. I removed it from said leaf, tossing it to the seal, who's eyes lit up ecstaticly. It caught the fish, before clapping it's front flippers and doing a HANDSTAND, it then wandered over to me, moving shockingly quick for a seal on land, and began nuzzling my leg. I'd made a friend, it would seem. I named him Aarfen, a play off Arfing, which he did. Often. He approved the name. We were fast friends.))

... I... did NOT mean to write that much... Odd... meh... anyway, go ahead and comment or join in tha game. I certainly enjoyed doing this for myself :P

Hahah, that's such an adorable story, and a really cute game. xDD

Hmmm...

Hippogryphs!

Name: Feathersword

Spec: Originally I said cunning, but in order to have some equality in regards to their ability, ferocity may be better. Technically they could easily fit in to either group, as they're intelligent but also ferocious attackers.

Pet Ability:
Basic would be smack
Normal ability - "Ping Prong" - The hippogryph slashes and stabs the foe with its sharp antlers, causing the target to take 4% increased physical damage for 25 seconds. [Physical damage increase (essentially does the same as "ravage")]
If exotic - "Shattering stomp" - A smart interrupt on a 40 sec cooldown, prevents spellcasting for 2 sec

Extra ability: Preen - The hippogryph preens its feathers, because it needs to look fantastic for every occasion! (Visual effect, the hippogryph would do the idle animation for its puff/look around or stretch, and then be all shiny and sparkly for a little bit, a la when you play with minipets using the Dalaran shop item lol)

Exotic: I'd like to say no, but they probably should be..! I'd raid BM forever for one of these ;-;'

---
Ehh this story ended up a lot longer than I wanted. Sorry. Pls feel free to skip but now I want Feathersword so badly! lol! (I've also cut out paragraphs, heh, sorry. too long.)

When Whocat was a newbie huntard all those years ago the first flying mount she saw and rode on was a hippogryff, on the flightpath to Darkshore from Ruth'eran. It completely blew her mind... being as sheltered as she was, she couldn't believe the amazing, gracious beast would allow travellers such as herself to ride upon it. As time passed of course Whocat experienced many other air mounts, from glorious gryphons to flying squids to grand drakes, but few could surpass the handsome hippogryph in smoothness of flight, loyalty, intelligence, agility and battle prowess.
The day came when Whocat was visiting her family near Teldrassil. The memory of - what, 5, 6 years ago? - meeting her first ever flying "taxi" mount engulfed her again, as it did every time she stood before the grand tree. On a whim she headed to the hippogryph master. What she was expecting she didn't know.
"Many years ago," she said, "I was a young and inexperienced hunter, and I hired one of your fine mounts to travel across the ocean with me. I was wondering if you still had him... I would like to meet him. The name, I think, on his collar, was... Feather. Feather-something?"
To her surprise, the Master smiled and nodded. "You came at the right time, hunter. His name is Feathersword, who has fathered the champion Swiftwing, and he is one of our oldest mounts. In fact, we were looking to retire him to our stables. He has been a steadfast ride and protected many adventurers from harm. It pains me to see him trapped in the stables now, when he loves the world - and flying - as he does. But what else can I do?"
Whocat nodded sympathetically and followed the Master to the stables. Inside her eyes immediately fell upon perhaps the handsomest mount she had seen (which was saying something, and she would never let her drake hear that opinion). Feathersword's green glazed feathers glistened and shuffled as he moved. The beast's sharp eye met Whocat's gaze - could that be recognition, Cat wondered? After all these years?
"Master, what if he could travel with me? I am seasoned in my art of hunting and have many fine companions, but it seems such a pity for Feathersword to never see the skies again like he must be used to."
"Hmm." was the reply. And then the night elf nodded. "Very well. You guard him with your life, hunter, understand?"
--- So that was the day Whocat met her new battle companion and friend, Feathersword. Despite his age he was an excellent asset to her team. She did not often ride him, as he quickly became used to a free reign, however when she did the pair would take to the skies and soar higher than the rest, and Feathersword would radiate contentment at being able to view the world from such heights. < 3

Bravo to the story, and you took the pet's abilities further than I had expected. And beleive me, I had to cut my story as well I had originally planned for there to be a paragraph about the sealing helping him get home (They can swim fast and long :headbang: ) but I cut it due to two things: Length.... and corniness :P

As far as the game itself... I was inspired by a trip to Bilgewater Harbor, where I discovered these lovely little creatures. (The seals, that is) The idea just hit me, and Ithougt "Eh, why not?"
