you used this macro /script PetAbandon()
ive seen the steps on how to do it but i was confused on how to, i thought they just fixed the bug or something.
i have been trying to get the ghost wolf(Ghostpaw Runner) but from what i understand from that macro way is you tame the best thats in the buff form(in this case ghost form) and once you tame him spam the macro button once tame is completed and that will a banned pet, then i relog and i should have him. But that don't work for me. Please explain to me what im doing wrong. I would be pleased

Is this a change from a few months ago? (the having to tame another pet first thing)
Because when I used the macro to tame an oil-stained wolf, I just left my other pet at the stables and went petless to Borean Tundra. My first attempted tame was an oil-stained wolf, and it succeeded.
A bit of palindromic wisdom: "Step on no pets!" Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis I love pets - combat or non. <That Kind of Orc> guild on The Scryers, small, casual LGBT and friends guild, join us Horde-side.
That's the way I did on both my ghost bird back when it was first discovered and it's the way I got the Lone Hunter more recently. The oil stained worg could be entirely different though since there's two ways to tame that one.
More to the point, this information is already available in other threads and the one that I linked previously.

Thank You.
Umm i don't want to ask for to much, but if you could can you send me a list of unique looking pets(that have a buff). So i can really be ash ketchum and catch them all Lol
also a list of pets that buff wont go away once pet or you die. Thank you so much again
If you do a little searching within the website, there's two or three threads in existence with all the information about buff pets you'll need. Same with all the information already given in this thread.

I didn't have to do that. o.o;
As for the boar, I used the revive pet spam and it does work. :3
The method is mentioned in some of the guides and the only way I got it to work with the Lone Hunter was to do it that way. This is, of course, referring to the pet abandon script macro the OP asked about and not the other method.

I just tamed him and im only level 24. My tame took to long so i decided to get a haste enchantment for my hands that raised it by 10 then i tried it and it still was to slow, just by a tab bit. So i was thinking what else could i do to increase my haste by a little. Then i thought herbalism! Bloodlife! then i tried it once more using the macro ad got it my 1st try
So just to make it clear, if i die or he dies does the flame effect go away?

I tamed the oil wolf with the PetAbandon script and never had to try to tame something else to make it work. Just spam the macro and logout and hopefully its there. I didnt even have to logout when I got mine. (Not an attack, just sayin thats what happened with me )
