Very minor derailment, since I'm parking myself up here for a spawn.

There are no other mobs that spawn up on this ledge, save for one lonely little Madexx clone.

Poor little guy, all alone next to a sea of flames, with only an occasional angry green spider for company - and he'd die if he got too close.

....yeah, you all know what happened next.

I also think firelands has crashed cause my hunter is stuck in there I can get on all my other chars but molten front has crashed.

Argh, I just want to see this guy so we can start brainstorming on how to tame him! All we really know is that he hits HARD and that he has an AoE that hurts people and pets in melee range. There's nothing in his buffs that says that he needs to be dropped to a certain amount of health in order to be tamed, at least not that we know of. I'm wondering if the jumping buff on the island factors in somehow...aspect of the wild is almost certainly a necessity.

Is it affected by Frost, ice or snake trap?
Concusive shot works on him?
Using deterrance avoids the AoE damage?
Is Wing Clip + Disengage an alternative (if it works) ?

Well we will all be masterminding I for sure want to update my post about these new 8 with everything I can! I would love to try and get all these guys just to see what works and what doesnt and what needs to be changed in order for the sane hunter to get the pet But for sure Kalli you get the first green if hes up and your on! I just want to help you get your pet

That's if we can figure out how to tame him too - cause gosh, on paper, it's going to be hard to tell. I'm not sure if there's a good spot to disengage or if this is another game of keep-away. Need a spawn first!

So sitting here and discussing the locations of everyone, I realized just how terrible a location Kirix spawns in. If this is the only way to the island, Fireplume Peak, and this guy is impossible to kill and can only be removed by taming, then it stands to reason that he's going to have a ridiculously long spawn timer, since it would be just awful to run into this guy as a non-hunter.

Oh well, I can wait.

Hehe thats my video =p the other ones are on my channel as well if you guys are interested! So far they haven't respawned, typical after I spent a lot of time redoing the Mount hyjal quests on my hunter so I could give it a try -.-Hopefully they will be up soon so I can attempt a tame. Someone on the video said that nature resist could be the key which sounds like that could be the strat for it!
