To note: No potions/elixirs/buffs were used in any of these tames. I am a Marksman Hunter, currently @11.99% haste base. (Armory is Myzou on Garrosh-US for those who like to check stats out for whatever reason, XD) I did not spec into Daze on Chimera Shot, so Solix was somewhat difficult. I just used Concussive Shot instead of Chimera Shot.
I had a priest help on Deth'tilac after he hit ~40%, who just started helping for no reason with mind flay spam. I offered 250g if he'd pull aggro and let Deth kill him. Eventually he died at 19%, so Deth was at 9% when I tamed him. Best 250g ever spent. :3 For Kirix, I used the platform strategy. Stood on one, explosive trap, IMMEDIATELY when he started his stun move, I used deterrence and tame. The tame went off with a second or so to spare while he was mid cast of the next stun.
Deth was tamed at 1:30 AM PST (So far, I'm the earliest tame of him I've seen), Skarr was tamed 3 hours later. The rest of the pets were tamed between 8 PM and 9 PM PST. They're taking at the Shrine, as I wanted to tame as fast as possible, which involved running back there twice to stable pets, so didn't have time to tame pics at the actual molten front ._.;
Deth'tilac has respawned on my realm, and I shall be waiting by him when dailies switch over to offer help to the first hunter to ask for it.
On a side note, I may very well replace Terrorpene with the crab as my tank pet, and Sambas with Skarr. I know Deth'tilac is gaining my last slot that I held open for no real reason. (Which leaves Tank Pet, Cat, Raptor, Wind Serpent, Deth :3)
I do wish everyone the best of luck with these tames. They were hard even when I had the whole of firelands to myself to tame them, I can't imagine doing it with other hunters and other players there to sabotage them. (Especially Deth'tilac)
On a side note: Myzou has been Marksman since Vanilla. She has never went BM, or Survival, and never will. So the new spirit beasts are out of her reach. XD I even refuse to dual spec on her. However, I have said that if Core Hound Pups ever become tameable, I will dual spec BM for one. ;P
