To find my white devilsaur to tame for my baby hunter. Maybe even luck out and find king mosh waiting for me. Fly around basin Crater and couldn't find one so I started looking for info about them. Since they aren't rares. came across this and thought it was hilarious.



EDIT: Well just read that they share spawns with each other so only 1 color can be up at a time. Is this true?

That's......pretty much my first encounter with Mosh. ;-;

And no, I believe at least two of the colors can be up at a time. The black and blue tends to be more rare then the other colors for me, but I was just in there last night and saw the White and Purple and the Nacho variety putzing around.

Granted...I only saw a total of three.

Edit: Ok, since I was sitting around not doing anything for my green varient of Madexx [who hates me for some reason] I made a path through Un'goro and only two colors were up. White and Blacks. So, keep looking dude. You'll find it. Might be easier with a little help from a friend with a two seater mount though.

Ive seen all 3 colors up at the same time (not at once though), ive also killed devilsaurs and practically turned around to see another, so if there cant be all 3 up, then one prolly died when i saw all 3 colors

I've seen three at most and two were the same color and the third was a different color. Dunno what the spawn timers are, but you could always pop on your main, if they are the same server, and take down a few to get the right color to spawn. The white seems to be the only one without some kind of constant model up somewhere. [Krush's color isn't constant either, but Krush don't count.]

There used to be a total of three patting Devilsaurs. From the looks of the trails on Wowhead, there's either four or five that can be up at once. I would guess four is the most likely. And yes, as people above said, they can be any color or combination of colors, and they do share spawn points. So if you want a white, and all that's up are brown and black, go on a killing spree and wait to check the respawns. That's how I got my original brown devilsaur. And it's a pattern I noticed when I'd go on epic devilsaur hunting expeditions to outfit a newbie in Devilsaur Leathers.

Good luck. MY friend wanted a white one so we went down there to look. We spread out. I found one, put a mark on it and then told her to get over there.

She tells me to wait. and about few mins later she comes trotting up with a white rex she just tamed-while I was there watching the other one.

I didn't know two of the same color could be out at the same time till then.

I got all of red, black, and green (the latter not being from the crater, of course) but decided that I really could only justify having one, so I kept the white. Some days they're everywhere, other days it seems almost impossible to find one.

I wish there were more Devilsaur skins. I'd really like a true blue skin, maybe like the White one, but blue instead.

I currently have the Black Devilsaur from one of the domes in Netherstorm. Saw him and I had to have him. T-Rex!

Hope you found the one you wanted. They're one of those things you always run into on your lowbie, but when you want to find it to tame it.. they're somehow hidding their huge selves.

Ahaha, congratz! That's my favorite color actually and the first exotic I ever tamed. I still have my white baby, 'Nibbles', even though I have Krush, I just can't let Nibbles go.

all of the colors can be up, as there are 4 spots for em to spawn in. however what color that is on what spot is random. So if you only find one color, kill some and wait patiently :3
